Sunset many carriages were lined up filled with goods and false vampires helping pack to leave the next day.

“Rowan, will you be okay here waiting for your team?” Iden asked.

“Just go, Mr. Iden…we will talk later.”

“Fine! Fine! We will talk later!”

He took off galloping without anymore to say to each other as a trail of dust followed close behind him. Rowan quickly thought to himself wondering if he forgot everything only to remember that Nava was tending to Declan.

In the distance he spotted Viaan with Sahil and Walker helping the others. He ran to the other side of the plantation to kick the door open to find Nava bundling Declan up in several layers of clothing.

A small temporary portable oxygen system had been fitted around his mouth. Rowan only gawked at Nava who only gazed back at him.

“Get ready, Nava please!” Rowan scolded.

“I am going fast as possible!” She yelled back.

The ground shook under their feet knocking off their feet. Nava shouted loudly being slammed with Declan’s body pushing against her in an odd position.

“HAHAHA!”

A shrieking female voice could be heard outside. An explosion burst the side of the shack sent it tumbling over on top of the three occupants inside the cheap shelter to find through the holes of the poor structure to see a woman with long hair.

Her furious crimson red eyes spotted him from the side catching a glimpse of the traumatized warrior tossing the wooden planks off Nava holding tightly to Declan frightened by the sight of false vampires scattered on the ground.

The woman was clutching onto Viaan tightly as Sahil and Walker were watching in horror. Her skin was porcelain white dressed in black gown with her hand out at Nava to Rowan’s dread not moving an inch.

“You really think I didn’t know human slave!” She howled.

“Who are you?” Rowan shouted.

“Sariyah, but to you Princess Sariyah!” She grinned.

He noticed quickly forgotten that his sword had been packed away. His only defense literally was walker and Sahil who had been attacked, but not down fully.

“Let go!” Viaan shouted.

Struggling to pry himself from her slender fingers. Sariyah glared at Declan giving a broad smile swirling her fingers at the unconcionous man lying in Nava’s arms.

“Slave owner thank you for taking care of my child here.”

“Child?!” Rowan yelled.

“Master Rowan, do not move please!” Sahil shouted.

“Well…sorta…he comes from Earth.” She laughed.

“Urth?” Rowan question.

“What is Urth?” Nava asked.

“It doesn’t matter only that he is safe…” She explained.

Sahil vanished out of sight puff of black smoke. Rowan could have sworn he could see her eyes move with the two disappearing out of sight to reappear skidding half way the floor as her hands glided out easily releasing Viaan from her grip.

He gasped out standing below her. A green goblin made his way out of the wood to look into Viaan’s eyes causing him to collapse onto the ground.

“VIAAN!” Nava shouted.

“Stop!” Rowan argued.

“What will you do you failed warrior?” She smirked.

“Failed?” Rowan responded confused.

Criork came forward snarling at Rowan who reversed backwards on his feet. It felt as though a stone was rolling in this throat. He feared what they would do to him and Nava the longer they stayed in the presence of the vampire princess.

It hobbled over to grab a fistfull of Nava’s hair howling watching Rowan’s expression turn to despair.

“Shall we kill her too?” Criork snickered.

“Hmmm…”

She swiftly recalled the man sleeping in the womans arms. Dropping her attention from Viaan to Nava and Rowan she bent down a few seconds gently the lift the boy into her arms to slowly wander over.

“Human slave owner who is this?” She demanded.

“Wait what?!” Rowan yelled.

“His name is Declan!” Nava whispered.

“Declan…what happened to him?” She asked.

“He was beat…” She sqeaked.

“False vampires are this weak? I want him!” The Princess insisted.

“NO!” Nava shrieked.

Rowan felt his heart beat from hearing her harrowing yell. It wasn’t like the times she was with him, but with Declan he sensed a yearning he could not fathom deep inside of himself with her only that he owned her by will of fight alone.

“Nava…” Rowan said softly.

Nava’s face flushed watching Sariyah place her digits on the sleeping mans head. Declan’s eyes slowly open by themselves, but they become hollow staring into nothingness ahead of him.

“Declan?” Nava cried out.

Their attention turned to their dear friend coming to consciousness in front of them. Unmoving the miracle of his awakening itself was so damning yet so impressive they could say no more than the little they had before.

“Rise…you will no longer be harmed…”

Everyone became enamoured by the sight. She tenderly pulled him to to his knees rising to gingerly kiss the palm of her smooth hand without saying anything at all. Nava didn’t know what do with herself.

Declan was never known for acting affectionate around anyone. All she could think was he was being bewitched by the woman and her beauty maybe he was not even awake at all, but merely in a trance.

“Declan, please snap out of it!” Nava pleaded.

He glanced back only to return to the princess within his grasp. She rose up clutch the back of his suit with mournful eyes. Rowan could only turn away from the truth being shared finally to his face.

“Nava, did you ever care?” Rowan asked.

She said nothing stand tall against Princess Sariyah looking down at them all. The princess knew noticing the change in the two suddenly playing into their emotions.

The blood forming in their souls coming into reality. Nava’s true heart and convictions could be felt spinning into motion and she wanted to take Nava body and soul along with Declan in hopes of obtaining several meals along the way.

“Nava…” The Princess questioned.

Her ears perked up hearing her name called upon. Rowan could sense the tricks she was playing by tricking her with hopes of taking Declan from her.

“Stop Nava!” Rowan yelled.
