(A/N: Unfortunately, there's something Roman could never have considered happening in this war. This chapter is also a testament to the fact that nothing is all rainbows and sunshine in a verse like Fate. Take it with a grain of salt though and don't drop it just cause of this. Logically speaking, this was unavoidable... as much as I did want to avoid it... not really though.)

Fuyuki, Japan,

Miyama Town,

"Huff....H..How did this happen?"

Amakusa Shirou Tokisada spoke weakly, only able to remain standing thanks to the sturdiness of his katana which enabled him to lean on it... The Ruler huffed, wincing in pain a moment after and looked up at his opponent, a strange glint in his dark eyes, "How.....Who... is your Master?"

When he'd been summoned in this war, the priest had not been expecting his own end in such a gruesome and illogical way.... His body was burnt in numerous places, an arm had been ripped off and a sword was lodged through his stomach.. His priestly garbs, a strange mixture of priest robes and samurai armour that displayed the nature of his beliefs, were mostly in tatters, barely qualifying as clothing anymore.

The Ruler hadn't seen it coming, not at all, it was an impossible occurrence. The Demon King of Sixth Heaven would never have taken a Japanese Master considering her sheer rage at the current state of the 'Japanese'.. A foreign Master however, was also next to impossible considering he'd made damn sure there would be none present for her to contract.

So how.... How was it that even after summoning Berserker, they'd lost this badly?

The infamous child of a thunder deity, a hybrid creature, Minamoto no Yorimitsu, or as she was calling herself, Raikou, was the identity of Berserker! The tall and well proportioned woman was on her knees just a bit to Amakusa's side, both hands on the hilt of her massive blade as she gasped for air. Blood, her own blood, was smeared across much of her figure, even her own hair stuck to her body because of that.

Amakusa had made free use of command seals in this battle, understanding that if the Demon King standing in the air before him at that moment wasn't destroyed, there would be nothing left to even maintain, much less ensure fair play... Still, still she'd managed to come out on top, expertly baiting him into wasting a number of seals and finding numerous loopholes in the commands he issued. If not that then there was her immense, completely unnatural magic resistance.

"I have no need or obligation to answer your foolish questions, knave." The Demon King of Sixth Heaven, Oda Nobunaga, spoke as calmly as ever, staring down with her ever so unfeeling yet terrifying gaze, "However, I will indulge you."

"Wh-....?!" Raikou tried to lunge at the Archer again, only to be smashed down into the Earth by a gigantic black skeletal arm.

"Still yourself, filth. There will not be a next time." Nobunaga slightly tilted her head, summoning dozens of matchlock rifles aimed right at Raikou, "You move like a mad dog. Why? It is but a passing occasion." She leaned forward a bit, bringing her hand close to her mouth as a savage grin found it's way to her lips, "Do not tell me you believe you have 'something' with your Master? A Magus is what he is..." Her red pupils distorted in a show of the sick pleasure the black haired servant was deriving from each word she spoke... or rather, the effects of said words which seemed to visibly weaken the Berserker's resolve.

"Once this matter is done. You will no longer be of use. Once he has what he needs, you will be discarded. Same as who knows how many before you." Appearing closer to Raikou, Nobunaga placed a finger under her chin, ignoring her defiant and rage filled gaze, "You thought you mattered to someone? You don't, monster."

Raikou's back slumped, her gaze downcast, the older woman knew full well Archer was saying all those things she was on purpose but she also knew them to be true... At least the words related to her, she was a monster... Her own father refused to acknowledge her, chaining her up instead, she'd never known a mother's love, people had never loved her, only feared her... She wasn't even a human, the woman's words were true. She.. Raikou.. was a monster.

But.. But, the Berserker Class Servant stared up at the grinning Nobunaga with a massive smile of her own,

"You misjudge my Master, as do those who know him. You are right, my life is long done.... So I can easily do this...."

Curling her lips, Raikou.... spit at Archer's face.

"....?!" Nobunaga stumbled back, her eyes wide in astute shock and confusion.... The Demon King pursed her lips, touching her face with her own gloved hand, "H....How...." As what had just happened slowly settled in, the Archer's pupils distorted in rage, massive waves of magical energy rolled off her relatively short figure....., "How dare you?! Filth!"

Clenching her fist, Nobunaga smashed it into the weakened Berserker's face before grabbing a matchlock rifle and emptying multiple rounds of flaming bullets into Raikou's head. Far from done however, she stabbed her black katana into her stomach before wrenching it out, spraying blood everywhere.

"...I'm sorry... Roman. And... Thank you..."

Even if fleeting, Raikou had finally found someone who had truly accepted her for what she was with no judgement.. For that, she was glad, overjoyed and extremely grateful... Regretful too however, regretful that she didn't get longer with him.... At least.. At least she'd done this in a bid to please him...

...That was good right?

"Damn you! Damn you! ..." Shouting angrily, the Demon King stomped down her foot multiple times, the sounds of flesh being torn resounding throughout the surroundings... Still, she too, despite her overwhelming rage and anger noticed that the Berserker was only smiling, not shouting.....

"I.... am sorry." Amakusa lowered his gaze, closing her eyes and offering up a silent prayer for the fallen heroic spirit... It was well and truly his fault, if he'd never summoned her in the first place, it wouldn't have happened... The Ruler felt her fleeting magical presence and looked at her with eyes wide in complete shock, "Why didn't you inform your Master?! He could have gotten you out of here!"

The Priest didn't know what to think, why hadn't she reported back?! .... Gritting his teeth, the young white haired man forced himself to stand up, "Your... Master will be repaid fully..." He knew it wasn't a promise he could fulfil, there was no way to.... Amakusa decided that if he managed to survive, he would serve her Master for the remainder of the war..... Still.. Even now he knew that wouldn't make it any better if the man still had a heart.

"My current Master.... is some Magus by the name of.... Lev Lainur and he is no longer here..."

The Demon King of Sixth Heaven dropped another bomb, one that all would fail to even notice until it was too late. Oda Nobunaga's contracted Master was only supplying her with Magical Energy and letting her act on her own.

"Now Ruler, it is time for you to join your comrade."

With a maniacal grin on her face, Nobunaga summoned and pointed hundreds, if not thousands of matchlock rifles at the Ruler, Amakusa Shirou Tokisada.

If you wanna blame someone, blame Willy Wonka's evil twin, Lev Lainur.

Roman wouldn't be able to notice this fight even if he was actively surveilling the whole city.

The Demon Gods have started moving.

In case that last part confuses you, don't worry. It'll all fall into place soon enough.

Roman meeting Meme Lord Nobunaga after Demon Lord Nobunaga is going to be.... something.
