After leaving the lake area, she walked slowly as she collected some herbs, crystals, metals, flowers, fruits, and some small animals. Just as she was happily gathering, the little boy behind her finally made a sound. She tied the little boy behind her and covered him with a cloak before leaving the lake area.

She quickly unfastened the straps and lifted the boy out of her cloak. She sat by a nearby boulder and put the little boy on her lap. She looked at the little face that looked so pale and white. After giving him a few more sips of the Fountain of Life water, the little boy finally opened his eyes.

"Little one, are you awake?" She asked him softly, afraid of scaring the little boy. The little boy's eyes moved as his long and thick eyelashes trembled, like a gentle grass.

"Aa.."

Feng Zhijiu was shocked when she heard his voice. It's like the sound of coarse sand grazing on the ground. The little boy was startled when he heard his own voice. The originally pale complexion became even paler. He tried many times to speak, but it was still the same. From his small mouth there was only a gruff sound.

She saw that his whole body was shaking and hugged him. She patted him on the back to calm him down. The little boy didn't cry, but she could see his distress from those big round eyes.

"Can you write?" She spoke in her normal voice now, sounding soft. The little boy looked up at her, surprised to see her ethereal beauty. He nodded.

"Do you remember who you are?"

The little boy became silent, as if he had lost his memory. She patted him on the back softly and asked, "Do you remember your name?"

This time, the little boy nodded. "Can you write?"

He nodded again. He weakly got off her legs and squatted on the ground. Pick up a dead branch and write Bing Ying.

"What a nice name. Bing Ying."

She smiled softly at the little boy, who stiffly tried to smile back. Suddenly, his stomach growled while his face turned red. His cute little face blushed and she couldn't help but feel a tenderness towards this little boy.

"Are you hungry? What do you want to eat?"

She picked him up from the ground and wiped his writing on the ground. The little boy looked at her, then at the ground, and finally at the dry branch in his hand.

She chuckled and took out a small notebook that she made with leftover paper after making the talismans. She also took out a small charcoal pencil wrapped in paper. It looks like a modern crayon. She handed him the notebook and charcoal pencil.

"You can use this to write. Tell me what you want to eat and I'll cook it for you." She smiled at Bing Ying, but the little boy just stared at her.

He opened the notebook and wrote: [Why]

"Um?"

When he saw that she didn't understand, he wrote it again: [Why did you save me and treat me so well?]

She looked carefully at his handwriting, it looked mature and every stroke was beautiful.

"There's no reason, I just can't let you be eaten by that serpent. Besides, you're so cute. I like cute things and cute people."

Bing Ying : "...."

The two looked at each other for a moment before Bing Ying wrote again. [I can eat anything. Excuse me, what's your name? how to call you?]

She thought for a while and said, "You need to eat balanced and healthy food. Your body is only bones and skins. My name is Feng Zhijiu, but people call me Su Xing, so what do you want to call me?"

She looked at the boy again, then smiled. "Tell me, Bing Ying, do you want to be my disciple or my brother?"

Bing Ying's eyes widened in disbelief.

"So?" She tilted her head and waited for his answer.

The little boy's hands were shaking when he wrote, and the neat and beautiful handwriting became a little crooked.

[Can I follow you as a disciple? I want to be strong and protect you in the future]

Rubbing Bing Ying's thin cheeks, she smiled brighter and nodded. "Good! From now on, you will be my first disciple. I will protect you, help you become stronger, and fatten your body!"

Then, she waved her hand and took him into her space.

They appear in front of the bamboo house. Bing Ying opened his eyes and looked around, his face full of disbelief. While explaining, She carried him into the yard of the bamboo house.

"This is my space, and only I can enter and exit. I brought you in because you are my disciple. In the future, I will give you my mark and you can enter and exit without me needing to bring you personally."

Bing Ying nodded and wrote: [This disciple understands, Shizun.]

‘My disciple is so cute~’

"Good disciple." She patted him on the back gently and led him into the bamboo house. She put him in the bamboo lounge on the patio to rest while she went to bring him a bamboo cup filled with the Fountain of Life water. This is her favorite place to read and enjoy the breeze.

"Drink this first and I'll make you something to eat."

Bing Ying nodded and took a sip of the water handed to him by his Shizun. The water tasted sweet and refreshing. When the water entered his body, he felt warm as his dried-up spiritual sea began to fill with a drop of spiritual energy.

‘Shizun is very good to me. This water must be very precious. I must be filial and try my best not to disappoint Shizun.’

Not knowing that her little disciple silently swore, Feng Zhijiu was busy cooking in the kitchen. She made a bowl of soft herbal porridge with a little soft peach puree and spirit honey. She also prepared a bowl of medicine for Bing Ying. All food is filled with spiritual energy that could nourish his body and spirit.

After half an hour, she came out with a tray full of food. She put the tray on the low bamboo table next to the lounge. Bing Ying's eyes widened when he saw those delicious foods. He saw that she only took out a set of cutlery, placed it in front of him as he looked at those food motionless.

She formed another lounge and sat down. "Eat, I have spent a lot of time cooking for you, so eat slowly."

After she finished speaking, she took out a roll of bamboo scrolls, leaned against the bamboo lounge and started to read.

Bingying watched her for a while, and finally took a sip of the bowl of medicinal porridge. It tastes delicious. It is full of spiritual energy and herbal scents. He smelled the porridge and felt that his scarred body was no longer in pain. That painful feeling is gone!

‘Master is a medicine cultivator? Just by smelling the fragrance, my pain was gone.’

He eats quietly, without any sound, and his eating manners are very good. This etiquette is engraved on his bones.

‘My disciple must have a background.’

She let him eat at his own pace while she read the scroll right beside him. After half an hour, he finished eating all the food and the bowl of medicine.

She sat up, put the bamboo rolls back in the scroll room and took all the plates back to the kitchen. Use the cleaning spell on those plates, bowls and cutlery. She put them back in the bamboo cabinet after that.

She went to the locker room to get a roll of black moon silk cloth. The cloth is black but has blue silver threads in between. When she was bored with training before, she made this cloth out of moon silkworms. Now, it's finally time to use this good cloth.

She took out that black moon silk cloth and went outside to find Bing Ying. When she came out, he was still sitting in his place, motionless.

"Ying Er, come on, let's take a bath."

The little boy blushed and shook his head. He quickly took out his notebook and charcoal and wrote a few words.

[Shizun, this disciple can take a bath alone.]

Still young and already shy?’

"Alright, I will take you there."

She picked up the boy and led him to her outdoor hot spring pool. She put him by the pool and let him bathe alone.

"I'll prepare clothes for you. Just take your time and wash yourself thoroughly. Soak in the pool for at least a quarter of an hour before coming out."

He nodded and after she walked away to sew his clothes, he lifted the quilt covering his naked body. He folded the quilt and placed it on the small table near the pool. After doing all this, he walked into the pool slowly.

When his little body was already immersed in the hot spring pool, he felt like his body got electrolux. It was very painful but he gritted his teeth while washing his head and body quickly and stayed in the pool for a while before coming out of the pool.

When he got up from the hot spring pool, he saw that the scars and wounds on his body were gone. Leaving a soft and white body but he is just too skinny now. She heard the sound of water and walked towards the hot spring pool with his newly sewn clothes. He saw his Shizun coming and quickly wrapped his body with the quilt.

‘Look at this child’

She placed his clothes on the small table, smiled at him and walked out. "That's your clothes, put it on." She let him wear it himself.

He gently stroked black silkworm clothes. It feels smooth and soft to the touch, which feels so good. Picking up the robe, he saw a qilin pattern embroidered on it. Both the clothes and the belt are made of the same cloth. This design looks very cool. He picked up the last piece of clothing and his little face turned red.

‘Shizun also prepared a piece of underwear for me.’

He quickly dressed and walked out of the hot spring pool. He saw Feng Zhijiu drinking tea in the yard of the bamboo house, next to the herb garden. She looked absolutely stunning in a red and black dress.

He walked up to her and made nine bows and three big bows to her. His long hair was tied into a ponytail. After he finished, she stood up from the stool and helped him to stand up.

She makes a few hand seals, forming formations. Under their feet, arrays of formations emerged, radiating radiance. She pricked her finger and drew a drop of blood. That drop of blood floated among them. Then she did the same with her little disciple's finger and drew a drop of blood.

The two drops of blood fused together and split into two equal parts. A drop flowed into Bing Ying’s forehead, between his eyebrows. Another part of the blood flew towards Feng Zhijiu and fused into her wrist.

Golden particles wrapped around the two of them as the blood drop formed a phoenix mark before disappearing. After all of that, the formation under their feet disappeared. She patted Bing Ying's hair gently and said, "Go to sleep, I have something to do outside."

Bing Ying nodded to his Shizun and then walked obediently into the bamboo house. It wasn't until she saw him entering the bedroom that she flashed out of her space.
