Enjar arrived at Lumberis’ house, where the night had finally descended. The world was drowned in darkness that made it hard for one to see the surroundings and environments. Almost everyone at this point of time was sleeping, either from the tiredness from the hardworkd they had done for the day, or it was just their schedule to sleep early.
It turned out that Enjar wanted to sleep at one of the houses of the villagers in this place. The night was dark, it could bring unwanted accidents because of the danger that laid under the moon. So it made sense for him to sleep at this village and Lumberis understood it naturally.
“Ohh, of course you can sleep here in my house, Mr. Enjar!” Lumberis was all smiles when he told Enjar. Enjar nodded his head and complied with Lumbers.
Enjar was given a room where it was comfortable and good looking that it made one’s eyes to be delighted looking at how neat and tidy the room was. Enjar did not take long and he proceeded to sleep.

At dawn, Enjar woke up with bright eyes, he did not look tired and sloppy. He looked even more eager for today, as if there was going to be a festive situation that was about to unfold soon.
It seemed that the couple were still sleeping. Lumberis was pretty tired after their training yesterday so it made sense for him to be asleep up till this time. Enjar did not want to disrupt their resting time, so he left the house without telling anyone.
He cleaned up his face and body for a few minutes by using some fresh water. His appearance looked freshened up and better after he had finished doing those small things. He tidied up his clothes and left with haste.
He walked in a certain direction, a place where it was a high standing ground. In fact, it was probably the highest point in this area. He jumped periodically, in every jump he had reached tens of meters ahead of him. Sparks of fire could be seen under the sole feet of Enjar after he executed every jump.
And in just a matter of a few minutes, he reached it quickly. He did not look tired or out of breath. He proceeded to look in front of him, with his eyes suddenly appearing red lights inside of them. It looked eerie, with how flaring his eyes looked.
In the direction where his eyes looked, there were some movements. Though it was so small that it was honestly indiscernible because the distance was pretty far from where Enjar was standing.
Enjar’s face had a smile attached to it. His teeth were put out in the open, showing just how mused he was from the things that he was witnessing. The red light that appeared around his eyes was becoming dim until it was gone, leaving Enjar in his own thoughts.
“So, it is the day for them to take action, huh. Pretty late, not gonna lie.” Enjar said while shaking his head. There was a disappointment that could be deduced just from hearing his voice, even more when one could see his face too.
“But yea, the good thing is that at least the villagers would know some things or two when I commanded them in this first battle that they will face. Totally not a bad schedule, of course.” He looked like he wanted to see the good thing that happened when a wish was not granted. Trying to see a gift when a disaster happened might not be a better comparison, but the analogy was quite the same.
“Whatever, let’s just go and prepare some things.” Enjar said while turning around his body. He jumped again toward the direction of the houses of the villagers from the Wheatfield VIllage.
He strided to the house of Lumberis, and started to wake up Lumberis with a calm voice.
“Mr. Lumberis, it is about time to wake up.” Enjar said after he knocked on the door.
Lumberis actually did not want to wake up, especially when he was still pretty sleepy. But when he heard Enjar’s voice, he did not dare delay even a second longer. He told his wife to wake up too so that she could prepare some food or such, to make the guest more comfortable.

Lumberis went out from his room and he found that Enjar had looked freshened, as if he had been awake for quite a time already. He concluded like that inside of his mind and started to ask the man in front of him with a polite tone.
“So Mr. Enjar, what is the occasion today?” Lumberis asked while he tidied up his clothes and appearances. He just woke up and did not have the time to better up his look, afraid of offending the man in front of him because of taking too long and hindered Enjar’s plan that he might have.
“I want you and the other villagers to prepare yourself, in no more than 20 minutes. Do you think you can achieve that?” Enjar asked with a flat tone in his voice. He did not look intimidating, even looked calm and relaxed to be honest.
But Lumberis could not make his mind to think like that. 20 minutes to group up the villagers at this very early time? Where the sun had not even risen yet? He subconsciously gulped some saliva when he heard Enjar’s order.
He did not think that he could succeed, the time was pretty limited for him to achieve that. He was about to ask something when Enjar said something first.
“Oh, and don’t wake them up by using a hard hitting sound or something alike. I want you to wake them up normally, at most the loudest sound that you can use is knocking the door normally just like how you knocked on the door when you visited your relatives.” Enjar added some details without batting an eye.
It was as if a vein popped out from Lumberis’ temple. If Lumberis had a choice to protest, he probably had done that. But remembering Enjar’s might, and afraid of Enjar’s way of doing things that could be the end of his life, he could only obey Enjar’s order and be done with it.
And just like that, Lumberis closed his house tightly and left the house in a hurried manner. Having a man entering a house where there was a lone woman was a taboo in this society. Lumberis too was a man, and he did not even like it a bit when his wife was in a room with a man that was not a family or relative. Or it was just that he was afraid that Enjar might have some ideas toward her, so he closed the door quickly.
The strong controlled the weak, and Lumberis who was just a farmer did not think that he had power to contend against Enjar.
Enjar did not think too much about it and he too left the house quickly. He did not sit idly as he helped Lumberis to wake up the villagers too.
Soon, the villagers were woken up one after the other and finally they were grouped in an open field. All of them were men, the men that had been trained with Enjar the day before.
Enjar looked at them briefly for a moment and started to speak. “I have news for you all. Today was the day.”
The onlookers at first did not understand what Enjar had just said. Today was the day? What day? Did they have a schedule today? Was there a promise or such yesterday before they parted ways?
They were still in confusion when Enjar explained the news to them. “The enemy is going to arrive today.”
It was like a bomb that had been dropped in an abrupt manner. They were shocked. They were speechless for a moment there. The enemy had made their moves? Clind and his men are going to take their revenge?
They felt like they could not do this. They had just woken up very early this morning, and the first thing that they heard was that the enemy was going to come? Is there really going to be a war now? Could they even do this? All of them were pretty much speechless when they heard the news that Enjar had just delivered to them.
