Once he was done, Charles picked up the injured Saron, moved to the nearby private room, and locked her in.
Then, he returned to the reception hall and ordered Elder Anthony to summon other family members.
Thankfully, Elder Anthony retained all other memories about Charles, which made his job easier.
Although some of his memories appeared blank, he didn't ask anything as he recalled the battle in Fire Domain and obeyed.
Surprisingly, Isaiah also co-operated with Charles and moved towards the second floor to bring his family members.
A few minutes later, he returned with his wife Ariel and his only son Raiden.
For the next few hours, Charles stayed in the four-storied mansion and erased everyone's memories about Saron.
He then went to the neighborhood houses and did his work patiently.
He erased the memories of servants, maids, horsemen, guards, wisdom church members, and a few noble ladies who had close ties with Saron!
He even went to the registration office and erased some of Saron's identity records!
'But completing erasing any information about her in this city is impossible... But it doesn't matter. All that matters now is whether she takes the bait or not.' He thought to himself and returned to the mansion building.
Then, he entered the building, went to the private room, and unlocked it.
Currently, a young woman sat in the corner of the small room and looked at the ceiling with a blank look on her face.
Upon noticing his arrival, she turned her gaze and looked at Charles with an emotionless look on her face.
"D-Did you really erase my family members' memories?" Her voice appeared hoarse.
Before he could even nod, tears burst out of her eyes!
She then knelt on the ground and shouted in a grieving tone.
"P-Please k-kill me!"
On the other hand, Charles watched her coldly and shook his head.
"See you in a few months."
Saying so, he turned around, walked out of the private room, and returned to the reception room.
At that moment, Elder Anthony stood up from the chair, bowed his head politely before asking.
"Is everything over, Your Excellency? Who is she anyway?"
A serious look appeared on Charles's face as he heard Elder Anthony's question.
"She is a wanted criminal and also specialized in manipulating memories. During the past few months, she seemed to be planning to plot something big in this city. Thankfully, I managed to arrive here in time and sealed her powers. Don't worry; she hasn't done anything to your family or the citizens, yet." Charles paused for a moment and then added.
"She is nothing but a crippled woman now. Send her to your family Mining Cave and let her work over there from now on."
"Why not kill her now, Your Excellency? What if she regains her power?" Elder Anthony asked with a frown.
"That's why I'm planning to leave her under your control, Mr. Anthony. If she does something suspicious, arrest her and put her in the dungeon prison cell for a few days. As for killing her, you absolutely can't do that. This woman has a big background. Even though her family members banished her, killing her will anger them."
Charles also warned him not to believe any of her words and then left the mansion.
Then, he moved to the nearby dark alley, cast [Flame Teleportation] spell on himself, and disappeared from there.
...
Meanwhile, Saron stayed motionlessly in the private room for the next few hours and sensed pain from all over her body.
She then searched for her space ring but soon sighed in disappointment.
'He even took my space ring. My strength is also declining.'
At that moment, anger appeared on her face.
'I'll never forgive you, Charles.' Just as she was about to stand up, some opened the wooden door from the other side.
She turned her head in a hurry and soon saw her mother, father, grandfather, brother, and a few other relatives were looking at her in curiosity and wariness from outside.
"M-Mom!" She raised her head and shouted in surprise but soon went pale.
At that moment, she noticed an invisible power assaulted her.
It was her grandfather who attacked her with his wisdom power!
"You are not allowed to talk to anyone from now on." A familiar voice echoed in her ears.
But she sensed unfriendliness in that voice and trembled uncontrollably.
'He indeed did erase everyone's memories!' She couldn't help but look at his family members' faces.
Before she could even say another word, Elder Anthony spoke again.
"Get out of the mansion. A squad of soldiers will escort you to the Simon Woods. You will be working at the Iron Mine from now on."
Upon hearing those words, Saron lowered her head in grief and nodded.
Although she could escape now, she didn't want to.
'M-My family...' She subconsciously glanced at her younger brother but soon retracted her gaze as she saw him flinch.
A pain appeared in her heart.
Even his mother stared at her with cautiousness!
She felt like someone was piercing her heart with countless needles.
Without any choice, she lowered her head, walked out of the mansion with a broken hand, and soon saw an old carriage at the entrance.
At that moment, tens of soldiers stood around it and seemed to be ready for an escort.
