All those memories were Charles's childhood ones. In those memories, Titus saw that a kid was forced to do all kinds of suicidal training, participated in survival games, and so on. In just a few seconds, he read all those memories and somewhat understood the dark side of the human.

On the other hand, Charles's Will also spoke in his mind.

'Killing another person is indeed an evil thing. That's why humans made law and order and punished the criminals according to it. By doing so, no one would feel guilty about killing or harming another person. It's how a normal world works. But do you think this law and order would work in the mystics' world? No, Titus. Law and order are for the mortals. What matters most for a mystic is strength. It's the absolute strength. Do you think hiding from the rest would solve the problem? No. A random legend rank mystic can erase this whole Kingdom if he finds it as an annoying place. It's is the world of mystics.'

In the meantime, Titus fell into deep thoughts and stood up.

At that moment, his hands and legs also stopped trembling. He learned that staying naive wouldn't solve the problem and decided to face his enemies head-on.

But he knew that changing his character was also an impossible thing.

'I will cripple them then. I'm not going to kill another person, but I'll cripple my enemies.' He said in a solemn tone.

'You are still too naive, lad. Their aim is not you. So, most of would be still chasing after Daisy.' Charles's Will retorted.

Upon hearing those words, he widened his eyes in disbelief and sprinted out of the woods to stop others. Although he moved carefully, he made many mistakes and left too many clues behind.

Within his Inner World, a loud disappointed sigh echoed.

'He is completely influenced by this love emotion. It seems Sasha is the winner this time.' Still, Charles's Will decided to help his unlucky disciple.

'Kid, take out the poison needles and follow my words. First, stop running cluelessly and prepare for an ambush. I'll show you what an assassin can do.' A cold voice echoed in Titus's head.

In truth, Titus had more than 50 kinds of assassination tools and materials in his space ring. He had been secretly training using those materials but never used them in battle and had no experience!

Under Charles's Will's guidance, he swiftly took out hundreds of needles, dipped them in poison, and placed them in ten different places like in a tree Branch's side stem, on the ground, on the tree stem, and even attached them in rotten woods.

If he were an ordinary mortal, it would have taken more than 30 minutes to complete this process. But with his Shadowy Hands skill, he did his job in a single minute.

'Next is about scaring the enemy. If my guess is right, the other party will send Rank-3 [Rogue] class mystics to deal with you. Every class has weaknesses. Assassin's weakness is light.' Charles's Will paused for a moment and then added.

'Take out all the rum bottles from your space ring and hid them under the fallen leaves. Also, pour some rum around the bottles, otherwise; it might not catch fire. As for the lighting part, I'll help you with that.'

'How did you know I've alcohol bottles in my space ring, teacher?' Titus asked in a shocked tone.

'Humph, I know all of your secrets, lad. I know you've been drinking for the past 5 years. Now, take them out.'

Meanwhile, Titus smiled bitterly and did as he told him.

'Next is about the abnormal physical body. Mystics have an abnormal physique. These Rank-3 Rogue class mystics are no exceptions. So, once you poison everyone, escape. You can't take multiple opponents at the same time. Your main goal is to chase after Daisy's brother and stop him from going after your woman. Although you gave her an invisible spell scroll and increased the chance of her survival, it's better to be safer than sorry.'

As Charles's Will spoke, Titus listened patiently and followed his every word.

Two minutes later, a group of eight people followed after his trails, entered the nearby woods, and soon reached the ambush area. There were 5 Rank 3 [Rogue] class mystics, and three silver armored knights appeared in that group.

Unlike ordinary mortals, their movement speed appeared extremely fast!

Just as they reached the ambush spot, the Rogue class mystics halted their footsteps and glanced at each other in confusion.

"What happened?" One of the three knights moved towards the right side, looked around vigilantly, and asked.

At that moment, he unknowingly stepped on one of the poison needles and yelped in pain.

"F*cking thorns!" He cursed loudly and was about to bend down but felt slight dizziness.

Meanwhile, a humanoid shadow descended from the tree branch and landed in front of the five Rogue class mystics.

Before they could wake up from the shock, the shadow closed the distance between them and directly pushed one Rogue Class mystic towards the tree trunk. Simultaneously, he took out multiple knives and threw them towards all the rogue class mystics.

To avoid those knives, all of Rogue class mystics moved in different directions but ended up stepped on the poison needles!

Even the other two knights also stumbled backward and stepped on those needles.

Meanwhile, Titus took a few steps backward, raised his hand, and snapped his fingers.

More than ten light sparks came out of his fingers and spread in different directions the next instant.

Without waiting for the result, he blended into the shadows and escaped.

On the other hand, all those Rogue class mystics and the silver-armored knights got startled by his action and shouted in unison!

"Mage!"

But soon, confusion appeared on their faces.

'What can these sparks do?' Such thought appeared in their heads.

But when those fire sparks touched the highly concentrated rum, it ignited the surroundings like a raging fire!

Before they could understand the situation, all those run bottles exploded one by one and completely enveloped the woods in a yellow fire.

Meanwhile, Titus didn't even look back for a moment and ran in the opposite direction.

'I already wasted five minutes!'

Muttering inwardly, he took out the pupil-less eyeball, activated it, and released hundreds of shadow eyes towards the sky. Soon, he saw a group of people standing 2 km away from where he was now, and they seemed to be waiting for someone!

As he saw them, his heart started to beat faster.

Without any delay, he blended with the tree shadows and moved at a fast speed.

In 2 minutes, he managed to catch up with Tyler's group and breathed out a sigh of relief.

Currently, there were only nine people appeared in that group. Seven were silver armored knights, one was another blue-robed mage, and the last one was Baron Tyler himself!

All of them stood under a tall banyan tree and were chatting among themselves.

'What are they doing?' He showed a confused look on his face and stealthily moved towards the banyan tree's backside. He then silently climbed on the tree and hid within the tree shadow.

In the meantime, Tyler suddenly stopped chattering as he received a signal from the nearby mage and walked out of the tree shadows.

Then, he looked up at the sky and smiled as he saw a black-robed mage was flying in his direction.

But what shocked Titus was that he saw an unconscious woman in the black-robed mage's arms!

She had silver hair and appeared around 25 to 28 years old.

She was none other than Daisy!

Titus couldn't help but tremble as he saw her unconscious figure.

'A Rank-4 mage! This is the worst possible outcome!' Even Charles's Will spoke in a solemn tone.
