Chapter 512: Myl

As Charles spoke, the whole sky suddenly turned crimson red and started rumbling like a monster.

The next instant, flashes of red lightning came from above, followed by monstrous fireballs.

Before the Red Dragon could flap its wings to move away, two chaotic fireballs at the size of a large house descended all of a sudden and smacked on its back!

Because of the dense Fire-Elemental energy in this place, Charles's [Fire Rain] spell got enchanted two-fold and showed its might.

In the meantime, a painful roar echoed in the Savage Forest's sky.

The Red Dragon first used its magic spell and then it's flame breath to block the fireballs but couldn't.

Realizing that it was not working, it let out an angry roar and activated its bloodline speed.

The next instant, the Red Dragon's body began to shrink at an unimaginable speed, and soon it turned into the appearance of a ten years old girl child, Isla.

She moved in the air using her wisdom power like Charles, evaded all the monstrous fireballs, and tried her best to survive.

Although she was a powerful Red Dragon in this Fire Elemental Plane, her current strength was far inferior.

In less than ten minutes, she was forced to corner by the [Fire Rain] spell and hovered in the air with a half-burned appearance.

Panting heavily, she looked at the reddish cloud with a fearful expression on her face, then glanced at the surrounding sky and shouted.

"W-Who are you?"

The next instant, a ball of crimson flame appeared out of thin air and soon formed into an appearance of a young human.

Charles casually appeared before her, conjured a ball of 'Soul Fire' and threw it at her.

A second later, the soul flame enveloped her body and healed the wounds on her body.

Stunned by his action, she tried to retaliate, but something stopped her from taking any action.

"Follow me to Miner's Den," Charles said coldly.

On the other hand, his words echoed more like some divine order in her ears.

"Y-Yes!" She stuttered.

In the meantime, Charles got close to her, placed his hand on her shoulder, and cast [Flame Teleportation] spell.

The next second, both disappeared from there and reappeared above the Miner's Den.

Charles calmly let go of Isla's shoulder and looked at the small town that appeared at the edge of the Twilight Land's cliff.

After that, he released his wisdom power, enveloped the small town, and checked for abnormality.

Soon, he zeroed his gaze on a particular lava house and squinted his eyes.

'What happened to my Will in that young goblin's Inner World? It did its work and disappeared? No, there is no sight of improvement in that Night Goblin girl's body strength! Someone interfered?' He glanced at Isla and asked.

"Did you erase my will in that girl's soul?"

"N-No!" A short response came out of Isla's mouth.

At the same time, she clenched her fist tightly for some odd reasons and gritted her teeth from time to time.

Charles was well aware of her soul's retaliation, but he didn't mind it.

"You can go back to your house and do your work."

Although she was reluctant to obey his orders, something deep in her mind forced her to do so.

"Okay," That was all she could say before she flew in a different direction and soon disappeared from his eyes.

On the other hand, Charles focused his attention on a particular house and looked at what was happening inside.

At that moment, a young Night Goblin girl was in the middle of doing her cooking in an igloo-like lava house.

She had greyish-black skin, red eyes, pointy ears, and she appeared to be around 100 cm tall.

It was an average height of a normal classless Night Goblin.

Her hands and face were filled with bruises and wound marks, and she appeared very weak. There was also a metallic collar that hung around her neck, and it seemed to be restricting her movements constantly.

'She already wasted her potential. I thought my Will would have taught her everything, but someone messed it up.' A frown appeared on his forehead.

He always hated when someone stuck their nose in his plan.

Charles pondered deeply, descended from the sky, and soon landed in front of the lava house.

Then, he raised his hand, knocked on the door twice, and waited for the young goblin to open it.

A few seconds later, the young Night Goblin maiden in her ragged clothes opened the door from inside and peeked outside with her pretty red eyes.

Upon seeing Charles's alien appearance, she was stunned inside and couldn't even utter a sound.

By common logic of the Flame Elemental Plane, he was a pure alien!

Meanwhile, Charles bent down and picked up the stunned girl with both hands.

"What's your name?" He asked her in the local language and walked inside.

On the other hand, the goblin girl struggled with an uneasy expression on her face and responded in a trembling voice.

"Myl!"

"What happened to your mother Qoz?" Charles asked the most important question.

When he visited this house last time, she was the one who gave him some information.

At that moment, an old Night Goblin arrived at the entrance and responded in Myl's stead.

"She died two years ago, Foreigner."

It was a voice of an old woman.

Surprised, Charles turned around, looked at the unafraid old goblin woman, and asked in curiosity.

"You aren't afraid of me?"

"For what? We are just mere slaves. Whether we die today or tomorrow, it's all written in our heads." The old goblin spoke like she had seen the end of her life itself.

'End, huh.'

Shaking his head, Charles shifted his attention towards the slave collar on Myl's neck, activated his [Eyes of the Runes] skill, and studied it for a few seconds.

Following that, he conjured a ball of black flame, compressed them into minute streaks, and sent them into the collar one by one.

Simultaneously, he used the newly formed flame streaks to break the spider-net-like structure in the collar and finally severed the black essence that connected to her brain.

The next instant, the slave collar came off on its own and fell on the rocky floor.

The old goblin woman was stunned even to utter a word as she stared at the collar in shock.

"I'm taking her away for a while," Charles said with a smile and enveloped both himself and Myl of them in crimson flame.

The next instant, both of them turned illusionary and disappeared from there.

Two seconds later, both reappeared in the deepest part of the savage forest and searched for a suitable place to hide the 'Twin Leaf.'

After placing the 'Twin Leaf' in the cavern near a river, Charles taught the secret chant and sent Myl to the Edhen World.

Then, he also recited the same chant and disappeared from there.

As for whether the Goblin Girl would come back and fulfill her role, it's all in the hands of Myl alone.

If she chose to stay in the Edhen World, he would agree to her request.

But will a Goblin Child mingle with the Humans without facing any discrimination? He knew it was an impossible thing in Edhen World. There will come a day when she would think of her home and people and decide to return to the Fire Elemental Plane.

That might be the beginning of a new age in the Fire-Elemental Plane.

But little did he know that he was actually helping the enemy to achieve his desirable goal.
