At that moment, a young man in his twenties suddenly appeared at the Airport's entrance gate and adjusted his blower hat.
He had black hair, wide-set emerald eyes, and a hook mustache. He wore a double-breasted waistcoat, pince-nez glasses, and held a unique long sword.
After adjusting his hat, he calmly looked at the surroundings and zeroed his gaze on the burning interior.
"What a mess." He muttered out loud.
Although the defensive array mechanism had put out most of the fire, tables, chairs, and trolleys that appeared at the Luggage counter were still burning.
Panic cries, screams, and shouts still resounded everywhere.
At that moment, a few people in black uniforms walked from the other side and arrived near him. They all held weapons in their hands and appeared well-organized.
A second later, a silver-haired middle-aged man stepped forward and greeted him.
"Greetings, Professor."
"Good morning, John. How is the search going? Did you find any clue about 'him'?"
A forced smile appeared on John's face as he heard his words. He then let out a deep sigh and responded while taking a communication bracelet from his pocket.
"Unfortunately, we have no clue about him, Professor. Even though we watched out for anyone with a suspicious identity, he fooled all of us and created a series of explosions at the Luggage Counter before escaping. Still, we managed to find out that he stole a communication device from a fellow passenger and used it to contact a woman named 'Jessie.' Currently, Felix and Preston are searching for more information about her."
Just as he spoke, two young men in their late twenties ran from the half-destroyed airport building and stopped in front of Professor.
"We found out her real identity, My Lord." One of the young men spoke excitedly, took out a strange silver ring from his pocket, and sent his wisdom power into it.
A second later, a holographic image of a blonde-haired young woman appeared in front of their eyes.
"She is the one, My Lord. Her name is Jessie Jones, and she came to the Miracle City only a few years ago." He stated.
Meanwhile, Professor took a deep look at Jessie's face and nodded.
"Tell me more about her. Where is her origin? I want to know her complete history."
On the other hand, the young man took a deep breath and spoke.
"According to the data collected from the information department, we found out that she is an orphan from the Moon Kingdom, My Lord. Around 20 years ago, she and the other three orphans went to the Moon Kingdom's capital city to search for a bright future but met a mysterious Ancient Mage named Oswald. Later, that Mysterious Mage brought them to the Iron Kingdom and chose to settle there."
"But to everyone's surprise, one of the four orphan kids turned out to be a lost princess. After learning the truth, this orphan group and the Mysterious Ancient Mage seemed to have made some plan, defeated all the scheming enemies, and even helped the Lost Princess sit on the throne. Their story became famous all over the southern part of the kingdoms. Jessie Jones later created an information network organization called 'Silent Nightmares' and became the pillar of the Iron Kingdom." He paused for a moment and then added in a grave tone.
"From what our information department mages had learned so far, she seemed to have already made contacts with multiple Warlocks and even founded a branch organization in the Miracle City. Unfortunately, we don't have enough evidence to arrest her. Due to her low strength, her current threat level is only at 'Medium' level."
Professor raised his eyebrows as he heard the lengthy explanation but returned to his usual self.
'Something isn't right. Although Jessie could pose some danger to the city's security, she is still a low-rank Mystic.' He pondered for a moment and ordered.
"Tell me more about the other three orphans and the Mysterious Ancient Mage."
Nodding, that young man tapped the silver ring thrice, minimized the bluish hologram, and created a new holographic image.
A black-haired young woman's face appeared in front of everyone this time.
She sat on an iron throne and wore a one-shouldered pink tulle gown in that image. She had pale white skin, azure eyes, thin eyebrows, and an oval face.
"Her name is Rhea Boneflare, My Lord. She is the Queen of Iron Kingdom and even gained membership of the Lawful United Council seven years ago. Interestingly, a well-famous Seer from the Rogue Throne Empire made a prophecy about her a few years ago and said she would bring some big news to the Edhen World during the next United Council Meeting. Unfortunately, others aren't sure about his claims."
Meanwhile, Professor calmly waved his hand and spoke.
"Next one."
The young man hurriedly tapped the ring's surface thrice and dismissed the holographic image.
He created another holographic image of a chubby-faced young man two seconds later.
"His name is Noel, My Lord. Unlike the other two, we've less information about this guy. He is a mysterious swordsman." He paused for a moment as he read more information that appeared on the bottom of the holographic image and soon turned grim.
"But some confidential information appeared about this guy recently, My Lord. And, this information is not to be taken lightly."
"What is it?" A trace of annoyance appeared on Professor's face. After all, he came here in a hurry to kill a powerful schemer, not to hear information about some random kids!
Meanwhile, the young man showed a stiff smile and added.
"He became a member of the Unseen Legends a week ago and even seemed to have killed No.25. From the rumors, everyone says that his strength should be close to Legend Rank." The young man's face suddenly went pale as he further read the information and quivered a little.
"A-Also, he seemed to have entered the Dreamforce Lair and obtained the legacy-" He gulped down his saliva and spoke fearfully.
"He obtained the Legacy of Star Emperor!"
For the first time, Professor's face turned into a surprised one. No, his face turned into a shocked one at the end!
He was amazed when he heard that Noel managed to kill No.25 of the Unseen Legends.
Unlike other organizations, Unseen Legends Assassin Organization members' strength was based on the code numbers.
Number 50 or above means that the assassin was a Rank-4 Mystic.
Number 30 or above means he should be around Pseudo-Legend Mystic.
But No.25 means that the person would be a Legend Rank Powerhouse!
Although they wouldn't be as powerful as peak-level Legend Powerhouses like Brooks or other Destiny Conquerors, they could still pose some serious threat to any Rank-5 Mystics.
So, killing such a person at a young age was not an ordinary matter.
'Did he get some Intellectual artifact or something?' Such thought appeared in his mind.
But the reason for his shock was not his Unseen Legends membership but the information about Star Emperor's legacy.
"How did he manage to come back alive from the Dream Realm? I heard that even the Rogue Shadow failed to do so, right?" A frown appeared on his face.
'Something is fishy. I have a suspicion that this guy must be possessed by the Emperor's Will or something and is exhibiting extraordinary strength.'
But he shook his head and focused his attention on the current situation.
"He isn't our target. Although he might have the power to kill a Legend Rank Powerhouse, he is still weak to kill me." He muttered solemnly.
'Moreover, 'Time-Stop' and 'Time-Loop' spells aren't some random swordsman could cast casually.'
"What about the Mysterious Ancient Mage and the fourth orphan?" He asked.
"Both of them died more than ten years ago, My Lord. Other than them, no one seemed to be on closer term with Jessie."
At that moment, Professor shifted his attention towards John and asked.
"What about the target's name? Haven't you guys found out from the Airship's ticket counter?"
Meanwhile, John shook his head and responded with a sigh.
"The earlier explosions destroyed all those data, Professor. All we got was this communication bracelet which he stole from the nearby passenger and used to warn the girl named 'Jessie.'"
"Oh? Can I take a look?" Professor extended his right hand and took out the golden bracelet from John's hand.
Then, he closed his eyes, used [Fate Reveal] skill, and tried to search for clues about their destination.
A few seconds later, he suddenly opened his eyes and muttered with a smile.
"Found him. He is heading to 88 Rocky Street. Where is that place located?"
"It's in the southern end of the Underground District, Professor. If we go by carriage, it will take only 30 minutes." John responded hurriedly and ordered the nearby soldier to bring the carriage.
Before long, three carriages came from the parking area and stopped near the Airport's entrance.
Meanwhile, Professor stepped towards the center carriage, opened the carriage door, and entered.
On the other hand, John and other security guards moved towards the other two carriages and walked in.
Those three carriages drove towards the Airport's exit and soon entered the Underground District's main road within a few seconds.
