Things were going great for Haco. It seemed fate was saving the last and biggest piece of trash to last.
While the tense atmosphere was bubbling, Akame had already moved away to protect her sister and friends. That was when the girl holding the empty pistol mumbled bitterly, "That's the guy who killed Guy…"
Akame was thunderstruck. If it wasn't for her training, her world would continue to be colorless. The loss of yet another teammate ate at her.
So she decided to reveal Weneg's secret to Haco. She yelled, "Be careful. He can channel damage he's taken into his opponent."
It brought no surprise to Haco. He already knew how it worked from the past. Before having challenged him to a duel, so he replied with what seemed like good intentions, "I know. Now piss off! You're not needed here anymore."
The children of Elite Seven and the remainder of Group of Terror hesitated for a while until Green weakly urged them.
As they left, they suddenly found themselves blocked. From the exit on the 2nd floor, Gravekeepers flooded in and attacked. The kids had to continue to fight for a little while more—until Haco is done with his fight.
"How did you do it?" asked Weneg with a bit of trembling. Evolving had never happened in the history of the Gravekeepers.
Until now...
"Old relics like you that are stuck in the past—don't need to know!!" Haco's voice was full of scorn. It hid the fact that he didn't know it himself.
"Brat!! Don't think I can't kill you again," said Weneg before he breathed fire.
Without a hint of worry, Haco let it box him—because that was all it did.
With a wave of an arm, the red fire was pushed back without Haco taking his eyes away from Weneg.
The Special-Class Danger Beast blood in their veins felt like it was running reverse as a sign. They couldn't wait to tear each other apart.
Flames of Resurrection vs. The Royal Family Curse.
Haco charged first with his legs transformed. The gentle tabs of his claw touching the stone floor felt hypnotizing.
In the air, Haco's knee met Weneg's palms. His back was forced to bend until he decided to do the unmanly.
From behind, a little concealed weapon in the form of a pointy tail stabbed into Haco'a six pack.
"You are too wet behind the ears to be a leader!" Weneg obviously thought he had already secured the victory. This was a fatal wound.
"We haven't even begun yet!" Howled Haco higher than he intended. After taking hold of Weneg's wrists, he lifted his legs straight into the air. Vertical for an instant, he rode the momentum and landed an axe-kick on top of Weneg's head.
The sound of his skull getting forced in echoed shortly, before a similar, yet indistinguishable sound followed by the black hieroglyphs.
The fight was going just about the same way as Weneg had killed the boy before coming here—Guy.
The sight of blood oozing out of Haco's head just proved it, so he acted and used his long nails to dig into Haco's chest.
Other Gravekeepers had also appeared to be cheering for the boss. Plenty was already fighting the kids.
But the heart he should be clenching in his hand—wasn't there. It felt like gripping empty air.
Flames flowed up Haco's forehead as he said, "I can't die before I've fulfilled my fate—"
**Whack!**

With a ruthless headbutt and whipping of the mohawk, Haco began doing what he had revised so many times in his head. Adding the worst single-strike attacks to Weneg's body on repeat.
Showing how meaningless the Royal Family Curse was before his mighty flames.
It wasn't enough to tear through Weneg's body and open his belly with a roundhouse kick.
Or, pull the skin on his chin off by hauling the beard.
At this point, Haco had tired out Weneg's special ability.
The fight had been fierce between the high-bloods.
While Weneg was on his knees, the attention was turned to the spectating Gravekeepers. All had stopped fighting—because this was an important moment. Despite being invaded, it seemed a new leader was being decided. It's historical for all the young ones watching, as they have only had one leader in their lifetime.
Haco's speech was very short, with no flowery bullshit, "From today, I'm your leader."
The speech brought no impact compared to the feeble Weneg. His tendons were cut so he couldn't move. The fangs had been stuffed down his stomach and would turn into a supreme fertilizer—if he lived that is.
"Aaaaaaarrrrrggggggg!!!"
Weneg wailed in pain as Haco suddenly stepped on his back. More, so when a talon dug in and pulled a rip out. Not forgetting to twist it, so it pointed upwards.
The gruesome sight shocked everyone silly.
It wasn't aimless torture. This was a wake-up call.
"We don't accept a traitor as our leader!" A guy stepped out as he transformed into a rhino, making Haco seem insignificant as he was charged at.
'This has to be done.' Reassured Haco as he pulled out something he'd learned from following Esdeath. How the peak of fear would either make people submit or force them to rebel.
Najenda proved it.
Haco stepped over the rhino's head and punctured his brain before charging at the next. It went on until only a single middle-aged man was left.
"Leader. I submit. So, please don't kill me!"
The middle-aged man raised the white flag and begged.
But Haco had already decided—there's no place for the old generation.
So Haco for the first time used his hands to hit the windpipe before doing the ending twist of the man's head.
As the room had turned silent, sudden high-pitched screams started coming from the corridor.
Then, a woman with gray hair stormed in with horror on her face and the legs carried her faster than they seemed they could. At some point, she even dropped her walking cane.
"R—Run!!" she to the Gravekeepers on the 2nd floor before she came to an abrupt stop.
The 1st floor looked like a bomb shelter where the people had been mercilessly murdered. The smell of blood would properly revive her youth if it was any other day.
