Wu Rui wanted to say something, but finally decided not to. Since Xiang Ning wanted to kill himself, why should he stop him?
“Second uncle, come quick!” Wu Rui shouted. In the end, he was still a sixteen-year-old teenager.
On the other side, Xiang Ning had entered the striking zone of the Void Vulture.
“Hmph!” Looking at the approaching human, the Void Vulture growled, its voice like a bulldozer, low and awful. It flapped its wing and a wall of air rushed toward Xiang Ning. The gust of wind threatened to tear him into pieces. Wu Rui noticed that the attack was much stronger than its previous one.
“Crazy bastard! Dodge quickly!” Wu Rui shouted as he pictured Xiang Ning turning into minced meat. The Void Vulture had used its full strength this time.
But the next scene surprised both the Void Vulture and Wu Rui. Xiang Ning was like a ghost and dodged the attack by twisting his body and turning in weird angles. Wu Rui even saw how he used his sword and knives to deflect and tear the wind blades apart. But Xiang Ning was still injured on both sides of his body as a spray of blood burst out. An attack from a tier four beast was no joke.

Both of his arms slumped, as they were injured, but he still smiled. He threw away his sword, as it was no longer useful; he was only fifty meters away from the Void Vulture.
Another wing flap, and another gust flew toward him. Xiang Ning used his Shadowmist Ghost Step to the limit and the three flying knives to tear apart the wind blades.
He was now only twenty meters away from it and all three knives shot forward to the Void Vulture.
The Void Vulture felt that its life was in danger and struggled harder. It finally managed to free its other wing from the ship. Using that wing, it covered its head.
But it was no use as the flying knives tore through its wing and found their mark.
The Void Vulture shrieked in pain as its eyes turned red in frenzy. It was struggling hard to free itself from the ship. But in the next moment, it saw that Xiang Ning was getting closer and closer to it.
“Holy shit! That motherfucker!” Wu Rui couldn’t believe his eyes as Xiang Ning jumped up and stomped on the Void Vulture’s head. It wasn’t a strong attack, but it was enough to anger it.

“Good, that was strong enough.” Xiang Ning smiled.
“This crazy bastard! He risked his life just to stomp on it?!” Then Wu Rui shut his mouth as he saw the beak of the Void Vulture was nearing Xiang Ning. That was the strongest weapon of the Void Vulture, and it was one of its most valuable parts. Many blacksmiths loved using the beak of the Void Vulture as material. An iron knuckle made from one could easily puncture through thirty centimeters of iron plating.
Xiang Ning smiled as he controlled his flying knives. The beak was just inches away from him when the Void Vulture stopped moving. It slowly slumped back down as the life left its eyes.
“He did it. He really did it!” Wu Rui felt like he was dreaming. Was this the reason why he had lost to Xiang Ning? What did he just do? Ran away?
Stronger martial artists finally arrived at the scene, but they were too late. Xiang Ning had already rescued the pilot from the cockpit. She was indeed the delivery girl from a few days before.
“Are you alright? Your hands.…” Wu Rui saw Xiang Ning’s bloodied arms. They were almost torn out from their sockets.

Xiang Ning was covered in his own blood, his lips deathly white. “No worries, I’m alright. You take her, my arms are a bit sore.” He smiled.
Sore? They’re almost gone! As Wu Rui rolled his eyes, he still took the girl and saw Xiang Ning slumped on the ground trying to catch his breath.
“Xiang Ning! What happened to you?” Fang Hao heard the siren and the sound of the delivery ship crashing. He immediately ran out to check what had happened.
While it might have seemed like Xiang Ning had been fighting for a long time, it was actually no more than twenty seconds. Everyone was too shocked or afraid to move when they saw the tier four beast, since most of them were around tier three. But before they’d even reacted, Xiang Ning had already slain it.
“No problem. Hey, don’t you guys have recovery capsules here? I just need to lay inside one for a while,” Xiang Ning chuckled.
Looking at how bloodied Xiang Ning was, Fang Hao almost wanted to beat him up for still having the energy to joke around. But when he saw who Wu Rui was carrying, he gave a signal to his men. They nodded and brought in two levitating stretchers. Wu Rui placed the girl on one of them and looked at Xiang Ning.
“What’re you looking at?”
“Nothing.”
“Then pick me up and put me on one of them.”
“You can climb into one yourself.” Wu Rui felt that there was no problem for Xiang Ning to do so.
Xiang Ning had no choice but to do it himself.
When both of them had left, Fang Hao ordered his men to give him five drops of recovery fluid.
“Five?” His assistant was puzzled. It was a lot for one man, especially someone as young as Xiang Ning.
“Then would three be sufficient?” Fang Hao scratched his chin, but then wondered why he should pay for it. Xiang Ning had already earned a lot; he should pay for himself at least once.
Just as he was calculating, Colonel Li walked out and met him, then ordered his men to remove the ship wreckage.
“The Void Vulture was attacking the ship and crashed into our fortress. By the time we detected it, the ship was already above the fortress. We didn’t dare to shoot it down because of that girl.”
“Why’d she even become a delivery girl in the first place? She had such a good life.”
“No need to get worked up, Fang Hao. Now tell me, who is that kid? We need someone talented like him in the military.” Li Kaihao finally revealed his intention.
“Don’t even think about him. He’s still a student. He just sneakily decided to come here and see the beast stampede.” Fang Hao waved his hand.
Li Kaihao smiled. “No worries, there’s still military school.”
“Haha, I don’t think you’d even believe me if I were to say that he had at least two skills that were trained to the Peak Mastery level. Don’t you think someone strong is already backing him? Don’t even think about recruiting him.” Fang Hao finished what he had to say and walked away.
