Chapter 50 Lucky

Xiang Ning coughed as he stood up, then straightened his training robe and checked his protective gear. He confidently patted his chest and said, “Come, I can withstand all of your attacks.”

Fang Rou chuckled, “Then here I come.”

“Sure, I’m confident that you won’t be able to win against me.”

“Hm? What did you say?” Fang Rou couldn’t believe her ears.

“Nothing, I was just saying that you’re beautiful,” he bullshitted as he got into his fighting stance and activated Keen Observation.

Fang Rou smiled, then charged. Her speed had increased since the last time they had sparred, but to Xiang Ning it was nothing. After all, he was someone who had fought head-to-head against a tier two beast before. He didn’t even need to activate Keen Observation.

Smack!

He intercepted Fang Rou’s punch. “The speed is a little bit slow, but the force behind your punch is acceptable. You should choose another angle that’s harder for the enemy to counterattack.”

Fang Rou responded by throwing another punch, but he easily dodged it. “Not bad, but it was too rash.”

Fang Rou gritted her teeth as she took two steps back. She couldn’t believe that her punches had been so easily countered by Xiang Ning. The gap between them was too large.

Before meeting Xiang Ning, her strength was considered among the upper levels of her peers. That showed how much of a monster Xiang Ning was.

“Here, let me show you. When you throw your punch, you should be using at least ten percent of your strength. With your cultivation, you should be able to throw out a punch with a force of 260kg. If you add in the weight of your body, it should rise to at least 300kg,” he instructed.

“Hmm, let me try.” Fang Rou followed Xiang Ning’s advice and practiced a few times before heading to a punching machine. The punching machine allowed the members of the dojo to quantify their strength, and was considered a staple in every dojo. Initially, she punched the machine three times using her usual method.

“249kg, 258kg, 255kg,” Xiang Ning remarked that there wasn’t much difference as he initially thought, and her punches were close to the 260kg mark.

Afterward, she took a deep breath before throwing a punch, this time following his instructions. She tightly clenched her fist and twisted her waist with force. She felt that her punches were much faster.

“288kg.” That was 30kg more than the strongest punch she had thrown just moments before.

Fang Rou was excited when she saw the numbers. She never imagined that she could punch so hard.

“No, it can be even stronger than this. Your fists have yet to achieve their peak strength. Here, when you punch you should exert more strength at these two places as well.” Xiang Ning walked forward before he pinched her waist and sole.

“You—what are you doing?” Fang Rou’s mind exploded when he pinched her.

“Do you remember where I pinched? When you punch, remember to simultaneously exert strength from these two places.”

Fang Rou punched again as she took his advice with a grain of salt.

“354kg.” Fang Rou was utterly shocked. “How can this be!” she cried. It was common knowledge that a tier one, three-star martial artist could only exert about 260kg at most.

“Is this a secret technique?” she asked.

Xiang Ning didn’t know anything about that, he only knew that it was the correct method. But he had to lie, “More or less. As long as the way you use your strength is correct, you can surpass the limits of your body. Just like a martial technique, your strength and speed will massively increase.”

Fang Rou nodded her head. She already knew that as long as a martial artist could increase the mastery of their martial techniques, their speed and strength when using them would increase as well, regardless of whether they had increased their physical strength or not. That was how most martial artists surpassed their limits.

“I understand, but when will you stop touching me?” Fang Rou’s face darkened as Xiang Ning had continued pinching her waist. She was thinking that maybe he really wasn’t right in the head. Don’t tell me he touches his sister like this too? Maybe he really is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Xiang Ning took his hands off her. He was indeed being somewhat enthusiastic when he had taught her just then. I was just touching, can’t I do that?

Fang Rou didn’t know if she should be angry or laugh when she saw how serious he was. He had never been normal in the first place.

“Alright, let’s continue.”

Time slowly passed. The two of them were so immersed in their training that they didn’t realize someone was observing them from the shadows.

After some time, Xiang Ning finally detected that person and stared at where he was hiding. Fang Rou thought it was a chance to finally strike him and tried throwing him over her shoulder. Unfortunately, he wasn’t someone that she could easily pick up.

Xiang Ning was caught by surprise and didn’t manage to balance himself, causing him to trip her. Both of them fell to the ground at the same time. For some reason, his head didn’t hit the ground. Instead, he felt something soft cushioning his face. A fragrance drifted in the air, and all he wanted was to continue lying down and enjoy it.

Just as he thought of that, he felt a strong force from his back. The air was ripped apart as he instinctively covered his head. An explosion rang across the room as he flew high from the impact, then landed in a crumpled heap.

He slowly sat up, his head swimming. When his vision cleared, he saw Fang Rou was tightly holding her chest and her face was redder than a tomato. Tears swam in her eyes. Standing just beside her was her brother, Fang Hao.

Fang Hao slowly walked over to him with a menacing smile.

Xiang Ning reflexively put his hands up. “Wait, did you kick me?”

“No, I didn’t. For some reason, you just mysteriously flew away.” Fang Hao’s smile was even more menacing now.

“Bullshit, you asshole.”

A vein popped in Fang Hao’s head. While it was true that he had accidentally hit Xiang Ning too hard, he shouldn’t call someone an asshole just because of that.

Fury Points +111

Xiang Ning's face paled when he saw the prompt. He was about to be pummeled!

“Come here, I would love to thank you for sparring with my sister. You must be tired. Here, let me help you with our house’s special massage.” Fang Hao cracked his knuckles as he said that.

“Wait wait! Don’t hit my face!”

Painful wails echoed from the room. After five minutes, Xiang Ning was lying on the wooden floor as a tear slid from his eyes. He silently noted down his humiliation today.

How dare he bully me just because he’s stronger! I’ll pay him back the day I’m stronger than him, he thought. Then he suddenly remembered the feeling of Fang Rou’s chest and felt sorry. The first time it was purely an accident, but today he had buried his entire face in her chest! But it wasn’t his fault!
