Chapter 55: Afterword

Umm, hi there? I'm Daniel.

It's kinda awkward writing this—especially because my brain feels as though it turned into mush from revising the previous chapter for the last couple of hours, but I'll try my best to make something comprehensible. So, let's get started...

If you've made it this far, you've undoubtedly loved 'Forsake Your Humanity.' (Thank you~). Oh, but first and foremost, don't worry. This series isn't going to end now or anything as tragic as that. I love writing, and I'd rather keep on doing so. For those who are curious, regular chapters will be available beginning tomorrow.

Now, let's get to the point of this afterword.

It's simply meant to mark the end of... a milestone, of sorts? This is what comes after the last chapter of what I deem to be the end of the first volume. And once again, don't worry. I'm not just scribbling stuff down to feel the blank page. That's exactly what I do, but that's beside the point!

I've got some great news. I finished the entire 'second volume' of 'FYH,' and even got the chance to take a few days off! (Health-related issues. Yada-yada. I'm still alive and kicking. A mild cold isn't enough to put me down that easily). We'll move on to the 'third volume' as soon as possible.

Enough about my amazing self.

This time, we'll take a break from the gloomy atmosphere of the Underworld and move on to a different place. Care to take a guess about where's Gray heading this time, and into what kind of trouble he'll get into? Well, I'm not going to spoil it for you! Keep on reading if you want to find out.

What I will tell you is that in this volume you will finally have the chance to meet a harsh, behemoth-like man who doesn't take things too seriously in person. With other great folks, too.
