Chapter 2412: Long Yangjun against Yue Wushuang!

At this moment, Yue Wushuang was observing the chaotic situation under the protection of three crystal tanks and a dozen devil huntresses.

She was still wearing a huge cloak, but behind the cloak was a fine crystal suit. Her mouth, nose, ears, and eyes had been covered carefully too, without leaving any weakness.

Having been the leader of the Tribunal of Extraterrestrial Devils for decades, and with her prowess in stealth, ambush, and assassination, Yue Wushuang certainly would not do such an idiotic thing as to enter the dangerous tunnels or the mines recklessly.

The dozen devil huntresses around her would not be separated from her in any case, either.

Realizing that it was impossible to wait for a perfect opportunity, Long Yangjun had no choice except to attack!

Shua!

Her skin turned clear all of a sudden, as if she were made of translucent glass that was absorbing the light around, melting herself into the environment.

Like a block of ice without the slightest impurities that had been thrown into the water, it was impossible to distinguish her at all without careful sensing.

Even her spiritual waves had been concealed to almost nothing. It was barely perceivable in the scorching fire and the intense smoke.

Her feet pressed the ground. The air seemed to be seawater that had a high density for her, as she turned into a fast and agile mermaid, cutting into the crowd through the gaps of the elite Imperial Guards and devil huntresses.

Quite a few devil huntresses were observing the surroundings in full wariness only one foot away from her. Some people had even activated high-sensitive detectors, scanning the environment again and again. But none of them noticed Long Yangjun.

There was only the last fifty meters between Long Yangjun and Yue Wushuang.

She opened her fingers, and the fingernails grew quickly like crystals, soon into ten thin but sharp daggers.

Yue Wushuang had been staring at Li Jialing’s direction all the time. It was not until this moment that she finally sensed an uncanny wave and glanced at where Long Yangjun was at.

After only a quick glance, Yue Wushuang’s pupils were reduced to the size of needle tips. Without any sign, she fell backward straightly, stabbing her feet into the rocks and raising thousands of cobbles, before she shattered them into burning powder with her spiritual energy and sprayed them forward. In the meantime, she glided underneath the chassis of a crystal tank with the counterforce and hid behind the crystal tank!

Before any of the other devil huntresses realized what was going on, a daunting shadow had already appeared in the cobbles and burning powder that Yue Wushuang raised with her feet.

It all happened too fast. With unstoppable auras condensed in the darkness, Long Yangjun jumped to the front of the crystal tank where Yue Wushuang was hiding. In ten dreamy, glittering curves, her fingers ripped the crystal tank, which weighed dozens of tons, into pieces more than easily. The elite Imperial Guards inside ended up in pieces before they had the opportunity to even scream.

Hu!

The sloppy black robe that Yue Wushuang had been wearing was tossed out to Long Yangjun like a wriggling cloud. After a bam, colorful, corrosive gas was flowing at Long Yangjun’s crystal suit.

Long Yangjun’s body immediately turned into a dozen broken crystals, and the broken crystals then turned into rushing streaks of brilliance. Without meeting the least hindrance, they dodged at Yue Wushuang’s black robe and venomous fog and attacked Yue Wushuang’s eyes, throat, heart, and abdomen.

Clink! Clink! Clink! Clink! Clink!

Dangerous yet exceptionally glamorous sparks were bursting out between the daggers of the two heads of special agents who were equally adept at stealth, ambush, and assassination.

Yue Wushuang had been on the losing side almost since the first second. After persisting for only three seconds, her left wrist had a hole from being stabbed by Long Yangjun, and the dagger that looked like a crescent moon fell to the ground.

Long Yangjun turned around and kicked at Yue Wushuang’s throat, with bluish brilliance spurting out of her heel.

Yue Wushuang’s loyal and fearless devil huntresses, however, lunged at her and forced her to slightly adjust the direction. The sharp brightness that should’ve cut Yue Wushuang’s throat left intimidating arrows of blood when it wandered among the critical parts of the many devil huntresses like a dragon.

“You’ve been hiding your strength!”

Yue Wushuang stepped back into the protection of the devil huntresses, covering her throat with both hands, her face pale.

She was not surprised at Long Yangjun’s arrival, but she was truly taken aback by Long Yangjun’s sudden increased strength. “In the last two battles, you hid your strength and did not carry out your highest combat ability at all. You even got wounded on purpose… Why?”

“Idiot. If I had not been wounded on purpose, would you have been stupid enough to think that two guys in the Divinity Transformation Stage were enough to hunt me down?”

Long Yangjun grinned hideously and blinked past a few devil huntresses like a transparent octopus in a deep ocean.

The few demon huntresses were all frozen as if they had been spellbound. Very soon, their heads were all folded backward weirdly, and blood rose to the sky like blossoming flowers.

Long Yangjun shook the bloodstains off her fingernails and bent, evading the crossfire of two crystal tanks before she dashed to the top of one of the crystal tanks from the blind angle.

No matter how the crystal tank shifted the turret, it was impossible to lock on Long Yangjun. In the end, Long Yangjun stomped on the reactive armor of the crystal armor heavily, gaining a higher speed by the explosive force of the reactive armor. While kicking the crystal tank to almost a hundred meters away, she was able to dash to Yue Wushuang’s front like a lightning.

Yue Wushuang raised the seemingly stupid question only to buy herself more time. She was actually retrieving the Colossus in her cosmos ring in an inconspicuous gesture.

Long Yangjun, however, had foreseen her plan. Three sharpest streaks of brilliance were snapped out from her fingertips and slashed at Yue Wushuang’s right hand brutally. In the meantime, she kicked Yue Wushuang right in the chest, forcing Yue Wushuang to abort the retrieval and defend herself. Even so, she was still kicked to almost fifty meters back, and her pace was completely disrupted.

Long Yangjun was in the level where she could fight Blackstar the Great in a head-on battle for hundreds of rounds. Had it not been for her concerns that she was now by herself and it would be troublesome if she were heavily wounded or ran out of supplies, even three experts in the Divinity Transformation Stage together wouldn’t necessarily be enough to defeat her.

Right now, she was determined to fight a bloody way of survival, and her enemy was only one person in the Divinity Transformation Stage. Naturally, she was unstoppable.

“You are not Dongfang Mingyue!”

Yue Wushuang’s bones were almost all broken because of her kick. She vomited blood crazily and changed her face color. Even her voice became extremely panicked as she said, “Neither the Dongfang family nor the Association of Demon Hunters can raise such a monster like you. Who are you exactly?”

Long Yangjun sniffed, not bothering to talk to Yue Wushuang anymore. Cracking noises echoed from her elbows, and two bone blades extended out of the gaps of her crystal suit. The same bone blades also stabbed out of her toes and the back of her heels. She seemed to become an incarnation of the God of Death made of blades, and nothing could possibly stop her at all. All the Imperial Guards and devil huntresses standing in her way fell like the wheat that was being blown by the wind!

Without any hesitation, Yue Wushuang ran to where the crowd was densest in the Great Iron Plants.

In the obscure smoke, she was like a moon blocked by the clouds, hiding herself exactly like Long Yangjun did just now, and not even caring about the lives of her subordinates.

She seemed to be cruel and heartless and running shamefully, but Long Yangjun felt that her heart was heavier and heavier.

Yue Wushuang truly deserved to be one of the best special agents of the Imperium of True Human Beings. She would not make any lowly mistake or give Long Yangjun any chance.

She had realized that the greatest disadvantage of Long Yangjun and Li Jialing was that they were outnumbered. As long as she was not decapitated by them, it was absolutely impossible for the two of them to kill all of the Imperial Guards and the devil huntresses.

Long Yangjun’s level was not overwhelmingly higher than Yue Wushuang’s. It was one thing to defeat Yue Wushuang, but it was a whole other thing to kill her. The latter was ten times more difficult than the former!

Therefore, while she seemed to be slaughtering the Imperial Guards and the devil huntresses without any trouble, the cost was that her spiritual energy and ammunitions were being consumed quickly. Also, incessant enemies were coming at her. When one of them was down, two more would take his place.

The Imperial Guards and the devil huntresses had all been trained by Blackstar the Great. Their loyalty and determination were far better than that of common Immortal Cultivators.

With the precious moment of rest, Yue Wushuang would be able to summon her Colossus.

She had failed to kill Yue Wushuang in round one. If the enemy successfully summoned her Colossus, it would be major trouble!

Ice cones were almost erupting out of Long Yangjun’s eyes as she stared at Yue Wushuang’s back that was about to disappear and pursued it.

Whoever dared to stand in her way would immediately be chopped into halves together with their armor.

Such a way of fighting had a high demand for spiritual energy. She soon sensed that she was breathing heavily, and the crystal processor was beeping in alarms too.

She did not give Yue Wushuang an opportunity to retrieve the Colossus at the cost of such great consumptions, and she was about to catch the target at the risk of being bombarded by crossfire when Yue Wushuang suddenly seized something that was moving vigorously from the darkness and tossed it at her!

It was a human!

Long Yangjun meant to do the same and cut the guy into halves.

The person who was tossed over by Yue Wushuang, however, was unexpectedly agile. He screamed but dodged her fatal attack, apparently much more capable than the Imperial Guards and the devil huntresses!

He was Li Minghui, the proprietor of the Great Iron Plants and an expert in the Nascent Soul Stage!

It was truly a bad day for Li Minghui. Having witnessed Long Yangjun’s toughness half a month ago when he was almost killed by her, Li Minghui did not intend to stand in Long Yangjun’s way at all this time. He simply held himself back and pretended that he was commanding the soldiers and maintaining the order.

But as it turned out, Yue Wushuang sensed where he was and blinked to him, using him as a human shield.

The expert in the Nascent Soul Stage, who was unparalleled in the Great Iron Plants, was naturally nothing in front of the aggressive Long Yangjun. It was already his best to have avoided the first attack, and he could not stop Long Yangjun from tearing apart his breastplate and his bones and crumbling his heart with brute force!

The CEO of the Black Iron Group died just like that, like a dog that could not bark anymore.

However, during the moment when Long Yangjun was blocked by Li Minghui, Yue Wushuang’s Cosmos Ring was finally able to spurt out the dazzling brilliance, and the Colossus “Moon Devil” crawled out from the ripples of the void!
