The boat docked on the deserted island.
When everyone got off the boat, they were greeted with a desolate and uninhabited island.
The production team had investigated the island ahead of time. They installed many cameras to capture the guests’ movements.
Furthermore, there were also puzzles on the island for the celebrities to explore and discover.
Once everyone got onto the island, one of the first problems they had to solve was what they were going to eat.
Earlier, some of the people had chosen food when choosing their equipment. And thus, those people didn’t need to worry about their first meal. Instead, those people began to find a place to set up their shelter for the night.
Jian Yumin and Jian Yiling had no food in their backpack. Therefore, the first thing they had to deal with was what they were going to eat.
Jian Yumin was incredibly worried about this. He racked his brains to think of where he should go to find food for his sister.
There were definitely things that could be eaten that were hidden somewhere on the island.
However, he was afraid that he wouldn’t be able to find the food in time. He didn’t want to waste hours wandering around the island to find food. What if Yiling was starved to death by the time he came back?
As Jian Yumin worried about this, Jian Yiling walked over to the beach. It was currently low tide. She started to look for razor clams, mussels, and other shellfish.
At first, Jian Yumin assumed that Jian Yiling was just digging randomly. However, once he saw that she was digging up shellfish after shellfish, he realized that his sister had a knack for digging them up.
And thus, Jian Yumin hurriedly walked over to help his sister. He dug wherever Jian Yiling pointed at.

The two siblings worked their way around the beach and harvested half a bag of mussels.
Then, the two of them headed away from the beach. Together, they dug up two holes that had a burrow between them. They started to place firewood in one of the holes and started a fire.
They made a Dakota fire hole. This way, the firewood could burn more fully, and at the same time, it reduced the amount of smoke produced.
Then Jian Yiling took out the mini iron cooking pot from her backpack. She cooked the mussels in freshwater. As mussels were seafood, cooking them in water could retain their original flavor. The mussels were not difficult to eat without other seasonings.
[What? Why do I have the vague feeling that Minyu’s sister is quite capable and clever?]
[Yeah. I looked up the fire hole that she’s using. It seems to be a survival technique that the people in the army use. Usually, people just dig a hole.]
[Xie Minyu’s fans, don’t be too happy. It’s just a few mussels. There’s no need to praise him so much. Go and take a look at Mo Shiyun. Mo Shiyun and her mother have already set up their tent for the night! Mo Shiyun is the definition of capable and clever!]
This time, the production team didn’t provide a tent for the night. And thus, the guests had to build their own tents with limited materials. This tested their hands-on ability.
While the other celebrities began exploring the deserted island, Mo Shiyun and her mother had already finished building their tent. Their tent looked solid and beautiful. It seemed as though they didn’t have to worry even if it was windy or rainy at night.
[Oh my, Shiyun is amazing! Her mother is also super nice and gentle! This duo had such great skills! They’re so capable!]
[I agree! I want such a gentle mother as well! Shiyun is super amazing! Fighting!]
[Shiyun has to get first place this time as well!]
On the other hand, Jian Yiling and Jian Yumin simply settled for a meal before they started to explore the depths of the deserted island.
If they wanted to win, they had to find the puzzles and treasure chests that were hidden on the island. They had to manage to do this before the other groups.
However, exploring the island right now probably meant that they wouldn’t be able to set up their tents in time for darkness.
Jian Yumin was concerned about this: “Yiling, why don’t we set up a tent first? I’m fine with a little wind at night. However, I’m worried about you.”
