While Qi Qingchen had said they were leaving in a while, Jiang Yi and Di Ling’er waited for a full ten hours. Only when the two blood moons had risen into the night sky did Qi Qingchen walk in and tell the two they could leave now.
Qi Qingchen just had too many guests while Yi Buhui also had to make some arrangements, hence the huge delay. The ten hours of waiting felt extraordinarily long for Jiang Yi. He was extremely anxious, and when Qi Qingchen finally appeared, he almost sprang up from his seat.
“You two just have to follow me; don’t speak and don’t make any sudden movements!”
Qi Qingchen instructed the two as Jiang Yi and Di Ling’er hurriedly nodded in consent. Qi Qingchen brought the two out to a side hall. They did not head for the main entrance but headed to the backyard instead.
There was a small garden in the backyard, with a small plaza within the garden. A young man wearing a robe was standing in that plaza. His head was lowered as he plucked a fresh yellow flower and was smelling it. He then turned around, smiled, and said, “Qingchen, this Moon Drop Flower…”
His voice trailed off as he stared confusingly at Di Ling’er and Jiang Yi. He blinked as he smiled—slightly embarrassed—and said, “I see that Young Mistress Ling’er is here as well.”
Qi Qingchen smiled lightly as she nodded and said, “Little Sister Ling’er is also a big fan of your aunt; she wants to tag along as well.”
“Uh—”
Yi Buhui had obviously thought that he was only bringing Qi Qingchen along this time. He had thought that he could spend some alone time with her. He did not expect that not only was Di Ling’er going to tag along, but Jiang Yi was going as well? He looked at Jiang Yi as he instinctively grew cautious and said, “Little Sister Ling’er can go. However, there is no need for this person, right?”
Jiang Yi’s eyes flashed coldly as he said, “Wherever Young Mistress is, I will be there!”
Di Ling’er’s gaze turned to Qi Qingchen as Qi Qingchen smiled sheepishly and said, “If Young Master Yi feels that it is difficult, then let’s forget about it!”
“It isn’t that difficult…”
Yi Buhui hurriedly continued. Qi Qingchen had—for the first time—approached him for help. Furthermore, it was to see his own aunt; how could Yi Buhui reject this request? He had been overjoyed when Qi Qingchen had come looking for him. This was a very good opportunity for him to grow closer to Qi Qingchen.
Yi Buhui’s hand glowed as a beautiful Divine Boat appeared. There was a huge ‘Yi’ word in front of the Divine Boat. He smiled slightly as he said, “Young Mistress Qingchen, Young Mistress Ling’er, please!”
Qi Qingchen leaped as her body floated upwards, with Di Ling’er and Jiang Yi following closely behind. Yi Buhui entered the Divine Boat last as he closed the door and brought the trio into the stern. At the same time, he controlled the Divine Boat to slowly fly northwards.
Buzz!
Yi Buhui injected some heavenly powers as the four walls of the Divine Boat became transparent, and the beautiful night scenery outside was instantly visible. The two blood moons in the sky constantly emitted a red glow as it shone on the ground. The city was extremely beautiful, and there were mountains surrounding all around. Lush forests and greenery could be seen afar, and even some white flowers were in full bloom outside the city walls, enhancing the beauty of the place.
Yi Buhui saw that everyone was staring at the white flowers as he smiled and explained, “These are white-feather flowers; my aunt had people plant them years ago. In the Phantom Race, these flowers signify pure love. My aunt had said back then that love was love; it didn’t differentiate based on one’s social standing or background. As long as two people were truly in love, nothing else mattered…”
“Uh!”
Jiang Yi trembled after hearing this. Although—with his mask on—no one could see his facial expression, he was internally very emotional. He could almost see the scene of Yi Piaopiao asking people to plant these flowers around the city as she stood on the city walls and smiled.
Qi Qingchen and Di Ling’er were also slightly touched; they did not say anything as they stared at the mass of white flowers. These flowers were being illuminated by the red glow from the blood moons, and their beauty was accentuated. The Divine Boat continued to fly without sound and without emitting any aura as the atmosphere inside the Divine Boat became more enchanted.
“Sigh…”
Yi Buhui glanced at Jiang Yi who was standing silently with his head bowed, feeling a little regretful. If only Jiang Yi and Di Ling’er had not come along, how wonderful this night would have been for him. He could have tried to make his way into Qi Qingchen’s heart and slowly gain her affection. However, with Jiang Yi tagging along, the enchanting scenery and atmosphere were utterly destroyed.

The Divine Boat’s speed accelerated as Yi Buhui continued to introduce the beautiful scenery to everyone. It was undeniable that Yi Buhui was a very charming man. He was gentle and elegant, rather graceful in his mannerisms. His background was also very illustrious; ordinary ladies would have long been mesmerized by him.
However, Jiang Yi did not have the mood to hear Yi Buhui explain all these. Although he kept his head lowered and stood behind Di Ling’er, his gaze constantly looked towards the north. He could already make out a black shadow that stood in the sky from afar, and he was growing increasingly anxious.
They were getting closer and closer!
As the distance to the Saint Spirit Mountain grew closer and closer, the number-one magical mountain peak in the Earth Domain also appeared in front of Jiang Yi’s eyes. He could vaguely make out a colossal pillar that filled the horizon.
The number-one magical mountain peak indeed lives up to its name!
Jiang Yi sighed in admiration. He could not even see the peak of this mountain; it was probably hidden within the cloud layers, right? Furthermore, no roads led up this mountain; and it could not be climbed. As this mountain was extremely tall—if one was not a King-Ranked formidable martial artist, he would definitely not be able to make his way all the way up. That meant that ordinary martial artists could not reach the peak unless they dug a tunnel inside the mountain. However, this was after all the Phantom Race’s royal family’s residence; how could ordinary people get close?
Mother is being crushed at the bottom of the Saint Spirit Mountain…
Jiang Yi looked at the foot of the Saint Spirit Mountain as he almost teared. However, he constantly reminded himself to remain calm and composed. If not—if Yi Buhui found something amiss, Jiang Yi might not have the chance to enter at all.
The Divine Boat once again accelerated slightly. However, it did not fly up to the peak immediately but landed at a plaza at the foot of the mountain. This plaza did not actually have any buildings, but it had a teleportation formation.
Qi Qingchen had probably been here before; she looked as calm and composed as ever. Di Ling’er, however, was a little confused. Yi Buhui smiled and explained, “Unless you are a King-Ranked formidable martial artist, no one can go up to the Saint Spirit Mountain on their own. Everyone else has to use this teleportation formation.”
“Greetings to Seventh Young Master and my lords!”
Guarding the teleportation formation was five God Thearchs. They saw Yi Buhui bringing a few people out from the Divine Boat as they hurriedly came forward to greet them. Yi Buhui brought the trio into the teleportation formation and shouted, “Teleport!”
Buzz!
A white light shone as the four disappeared within the teleportation formation. When the white light disappeared, Jiang Yi felt as if they were in paradise. They were standing on flatland and were being surrounded by clouds. From afar, a palace could vaguely be seen through the clouds; this place was like a paradise indeed.
“What a good place!”
Di Ling’er sighed in admiration. Yi Buhui, however, sent a voice transmission: “We can slowly admire this another time. Let’s go and see my aunt first. If my grandfather finds out we are here, we will be in trouble!”
Everyone stopped looking about as they swiftly followed Yi Buhui. With a young master of the Yi Clan leading the way, no one dared to question them. Only a few powerful divine senses swept by, but after discovering that it was Yi Buhui and Qi Qingchen, no one dared to disturb them further.
The four finally reached the exterior of a palace. Two God Thearchs were guarding the door. Seeing Yi Buhui bringing three others and approaching, one of the God Thearchs frowned as he cupped his hands and said, “Seventh Young Master, the Saint Prison is forbidden ground; without the Clan Head’s orders, no one can enter!”
Buzz!
Yi Buhui held out a golden command token in his hand. The two God Thearchs didn’t waste a single breath as they cupped their hands and opened the palace doors. Yi Buhui looked at the three others as he brought them inside.
“The Clan Head’s command token?”
After entering, Qi Qingchen asked curiously via a voice transmission: “Young Master Yi, where did you get this command token from?”
Yi Buhui smiled bitterly. He sent a voice transmission: “Only my grandfather and my father have this command token. I begged them for a long time before my father finally gave me permission to use it once. Let’s go! Although Grandfather is in seclusion—if he detects us, we will not be able to enter the Saint Prison anymore.”
Qi Qingchen did not ask anymore as, under Yi Buhui’s direction, the group entered the palace swiftly. There wasn’t anything in this palace except for an extremely long black corridor. As the group walked to the end of the corridor, they found a series of spiraling stone steps; the way down was dark, and no one knew how deep it was.
“This is the Saint Prison of the Phantom Race!”
Yi Buhui looked a little miserable as he stood at the entrance, sighed, and said, “This Saint Prison is where we imprison the worst criminals of the Phantom Race. There are eighteen levels to this place and gravity gets heavier with every level, increasing the pain that one would feel. My aunt… is trapped on the eighteenth level!”
