Chapter 508: Don’t Kill Me, Jiang Yi

Even after killing Dugu Qiu, Jiang Yi felt no joy or satisfaction. Instead, he was filled with immense sadness and loneliness.

As he fell from a great height, he felt intense pain from his fractured legs. He took a couple of deep breaths before flying by slamming his palms on the surface of the ground again. This time, he landed beside Dugu Qiu’s charred corpse. Jiang Yi waved his hands and dismembered the corpse into unrecognizable pieces. He then released some ghost flames and incinerated them into ashes.

“Ji Tingyu!”

He snapped his head up while his blood red eyes looked towards the shimmering barrier surrounding the Martial Arts Hall. He slammed on the ground and sped over with the Fire Dragon Sword in his hand, he furiously sent tens of thousands of fire dragons towards the hall.

Pong! Pong! Pong!

The sky was crowded with fire dragons that were constantly attacking the barrier; each blow would cause a firework that blossomed like flowers. The scene caused the heart to palpitate and was incredibly mesmerizing at the same time.

Tsk! Tsk!

Jiang Yi kept on the warpath while his body was constantly releasing the Massacre Intent. He did not know if he was able to suppress those in the Martial Arts Hall, but he didn’t dare to stop.

His legs were still bleeding, and he had to spit out some blood that had congealed in his mouth every so often. With each movement, he felt an excruciating pain rushing through his body. Yet, he did not care and continued his attacks with a single purpose: to capture Ji Tingyu and torture her as many ways possible before eventually killing her!

He did not enjoy humiliating nor killing women. However, Ji Tingyu had utterly infuriated him. He had never hated or wanted to kill someone so much in his life.

One hour later…

The barrier around the Martial Arts Hall was still shimmering while Jiang Yi seemed pale due to an excessive loss of blood and energy. In addition to Jiang Bieli’s death, he was utterly devastated, making him exhausted both mentally and physically.

He did not cease his attacks; neither did he stop releasing his Massacre Intent. He simply took out a couple of recuperation medicine and swallowed them together with the blood in his mouth.

Two hours later…

The barrier seemed impenetrable, and Jiang Yi was becoming increasingly weak. After battling for over two hours, his mind began to clear. The Thearch Palace materialized in his hand and began to grow while rising up in the sky. Soon, the doors opened, and a giant beast appeared on the ground.

Jiang Yi’s eyes flashed with chilling light as he bellowed, “Yazi Beast, attack the Martial Arts Hall now!”

Upon seeing how miserable he looked, the Yazi Beast almost wanted to say something, but it was interrupted by Jiang Yi’s angered yell. “Are you deaf? Attack now!”

Roar!

The Yazi Beast whined with a grievance, but it dared not say more as Jiang Yi was already in such a rage. Instead, it lit up its horn and shot towards the barrier with a stream of light.

Jiang Yi’s Massacre Intent was still being released; it had also affected the Yazi Beast. Luckily, it had spent some time with Jiang Yi, which technically meant it was his spirit beast. In addition, it only had to release its demonic art without moving, and the target was the Martial Arts Hall. If the target was Jiang Yi, it would probably not be able to release the demonic art at all.

Time passed quickly, and the barrier’s radiance began to dim. Jiang Yi saw his opportunity and intensified his attacks on the barrier.

Buzz!

At this moment, the entire Martial Arts Hall quivered; and a large beam of light shot through the roof of the hall and into the sky.

That beam of light appeared somewhat familiar to Jiang Yi, and he felt the spatial zone around him vibrate. His blood red eyes flickered while he had a panicking expression. He yelled out, “Ji Tingyu, you’re just going to teleport away? Do you believe I will slaughter the entire Ji Clan?”

Clearly, this was a beam of light caused by the teleportation array. Judging by the intensity and the ripple effect in the air, the teleportation array activated by Ji Tingyu was definitely for extremely long-distance teleportation.

This was the Martial Arts Main Hall, and it was certain that this teleportation wasn’t towards the cities on the continent. It was possibly teleporting to another continent, possibly even the actual Martial Arts Main Hall!

“Yazi Beast, attack quickly!”

Watching at the Martial Arts Hall quaking, the beam of light began to fluctuate even more. Jiang Yi was frantic. If Ji Tingyu was to escape this time, he would never be able to kill her in this lifetime. He shouted with rage again, “Ji Tingyu, if you dare to escape, I swear I will take your father, Ji Tian’s corpse, and hang it at Skyplume City for a hundred days!”

“Ke-Ke!”

Suddenly, a melodic voice rang from the depths of the Martial Arts Hall and spread through the entire Hades Abyss. “Jiang Yi, don’t try to intimidate me. You will not kill my father. You are not that type of person, and it goes against your principles. Furthermore, my father did you a favor back then. Even so, I am bringing along your beloved woman. If you dare to touch the members of my clan, you shall have to bear the consequences.”

“Jiang Lang, uhh…”

As Ji Tingyu’s words faded, a voice echoed that caused Jiang Yi’s soul spirit to shiver. It was Su Ruoxue’s voice.

Before Su Ruoxue could say anything further, she was silenced. Ji Tingyu continued, “Jiang Yi, this time, you win. However, in two weeks, the Heaven Monarch envoys will arrive at the Stellarsky Continent. If you can’t escape, you will still die. Keke… I can tell you upfront that this teleportation array is bound for the East Imperial Continent. If you want to seek revenge and rescue Su Ruoxue, then go there. I promise I will not lose to you a second time!”

Boom!

The Martial Arts Hall shook violently, the ground quaked, and in the same moment, the barrier broke. With a one-handed slam, Jiang Yi forcefully barged through the doors of the Martial Arts Hall. When he rushed in, he saw Ji Tingyu grabbing hold of Su Ruoxue and disappeared into the teleportation array in the main hall.

“Ruoxue!”

Jiang Yi roared in a craze and sped towards the teleportation array while trying to grab at the array. However, when he got there, it was empty. He collapsed in exhaustion.

“Ji Tingyu! Ji Tingyu! Ji Tingyu… I, Jiang Yi, swear to kill you, even if it’s the last thing I do!”

Jiang Yi was inconsolable. His hysterical screams rang through the entire Martial Arts Hall, across the Hades Abyss, and echoed through heaven and earth, which continued to linger in the air.

“Young, Young Master…”

“Boss, Boss!”

“Xiao Yi!”

A muffled voice came from one of the rooms. Using his divine sense, Jiang Yi rushed towards the room.

He looked around the room and saw Jiang Xiaonu, Jiang Yunhai, Zhan Wushuang, Qian Wanguan, and Yun Fei lying on the ground. They were weakened and exhausted, probably because they were fed some type of elixir. As they saw how miserable Jiang Yi looked and his hysterical cries, everyone’s eyes were sparkling with tears.

“Grandfather, Xiaonu, Brother Wushuang, everyone, just hold on. I am going to kill everyone in this hall.”

Jiang Yi swept the area using his divine sense and realized that the Martial Arts Hall was extraordinarily large. At this moment, the inner courtyard was filled with at least thousands of people. Among them, there was Dugu Qiu’s daughter, the Saint Lady of the Martial Arts Hall, Dugu Yan.

Jiang Yi was heart was in so much rage that he could incinerate the heavens. Since Ji Tingyu did not take these people away, they were going to be the outlet to vent his anger on.

Swish!

Jiang Yi slammed onto the ground and burst swiftly towards the inner courtyard like a flying centipede while his hands glowed with dark green radiance. As he appeared, Jiang Yi conjured the Nine Heavens’ Dragon Flames and was ready to send a tsunami of flames towards them.

Dugu Yan was surrounded by several peak-stage Soul Travel Realms, who were all unable to move a muscle. She paled at the sight of Jiang Yi speeding towards her. Even though she could not speak, she managed to muster up the energy to transmit a message: “Don’t kill me, Jiang Yi. If you spare my life, I can do anything. I have a rare body of spirit charm and the best twin body furnace. I… I also have the ten famed artifacts…”

“Famed artifact, my foot!”

Jiang Yi yelled out with rage and abruptly sent out palm strikes, which engulfed everything in front of him with a sea of flames!
