(Lancel POV)

After passing through High Garden, we travel through the sand towards the Torre de la Alegría, as I do not recognize the path, I ask the system to be my guide, since I can get lost because there is no path to continue.

Rhaenys "I'm thirsty" she says with a hoarse voice

Lancel "Here" I tell him passing him the canteen

Lancel 'Since we left I have not given him anything to eat, I hope he resists until we reach the Tower of Joy, luckily there were no guards to stop us in High Garden

Lancel "Try to sleep" I tell him patting his head, as the horse needs to rest I slow down

(third person POV)

Three hours later...

Arthur Dayne watches a horse approaching the Tower, and alerts Ser Oswell Whent and Ser Gerold Hightower of someone's arrival.

When the knights see that there are two of them, they do not recognize the boy, but they do recognize the girl and it is Princess Rhaenys Targaryen asleep on the horse and wearing a cape on her shoulders

Lancel "Good morning Ser" says as he motions for Arthur Dayne to approach, that as he approaches he sees the Albor sword, sticking out over his right shoulder, then he looks at the other two knights, one (Ser Oswell Whent ) with one helmet painted a black bat with outstretched wings and the other (Ser Gerold Hightower) in dazzling golden armor

Arthur Dayne approaches and lowers the Princess from the horse, then Lancel jumps down.

Ser Arthur Dayne "Who are you, and why are you with the Princess?" he says looking at him with a frown

Ser Oswell "We should kill him if he doesn't respond well" he says, while showing a cheerful smile

Ser Gerold "Let him speak first" he says shaking his head at what Ser Oswell said

Lancel "I came from rescuing Princess Elia and her children with Lord Oberyn Martell, during the rescue we parted ways and traveled alone ever since" he said looking at Ser Arthur Dayne

Ser Oswell "What did you rescue her from?" he says starting to draw the sword

Lancel "King Aerys is dead, and the Lannisters betrayed him and had the royal family killed" he says

Ser Gerold "Now answer Ser Arthur's question" he said, angry at the news.

Lancel "I am Lancel Sand, bastard son of Lord Dayne" says

Ser Arthur Dayne is surprised that he is his brother's son

Lancel "When the Princess wakes up she will be hungry, do you have anything to eat?" he says looking at the Princess sleeping in the arms of Ser Arthur Dayne

Ser Arthur "We have" he said as he entered the tower

Ser Oswell "We should have been there to kill those traitors" he says drawing his sword and slashing the air

Ser Gerold "Now only the sons of the dragon remain, we have to protect them" he says turning to see the Tower

Then Lancel wants to enter the Tower and is stopped by Ser Oswell.

Ser Oswell "Only as a ghost will you be able to enter the Tower boy" he says blocking his way with his hand

Lancel "I'm hungry and thirsty" he says touching his stomach

Ser Gerold "Go in and get him food and water" he says giving the order to Ser Oswell

Ser Oswell enters the Tower, while Lancel waits to satisfy his hunger and thirst from his long journey.

(Lancel POV)

As afternoon falls from afar I see Lord Eddard Stark and his companions coming, while Ser Oswell sharpens his sword, Ser Arthur and Ser Gerold rise and await their arrival.

Meanwhile, I stand aside so as not to interfere with the approaching combat, suddenly I feel someone behind me, I turn to see and there is no one, but I have the feeling that someone is watching me

The next moment I remember that it could be Bran and the three-eyed raven who are witnessing this moment in my present, and his future self, showing Bran how to use the powers of the weirwood (heart tree) of the children of the forest

Lord Eddard gets off the horse along with his companions and approaches where Ser Arthur, Ser Gerold and Ser Oswell wait for him, who stopped sharpening his sword to accompany his sworn brothers.

Lord Eddard "I looked for them in the trident" he says with his hands on the ancestral sword of the Stark house

Ser Gerold "We weren't there" he replied taking his sword with force in his hand

Ser Oswell "If he had been there, the false King would cry tears of blood" he says wielding his sword

Lord Eddard "When King's Landing fell, Ser Jaime slew his king with one golden sword, Where were you then?" he says after the royal guard's comments

Ser Gerold "Far away" replies and continues "Otherwise, Aerys would continue to occupy

the Iron Throne, and our false brother would burn in the seven hells" he says disgusted by what Jaime did despite his votes

Lord Eddard "I went down to Storm's End to lift the siege" he says and continues his sentence "Lord Tyrell and Lord Redwyne laid down their banners, and all their knights knelt to swear allegiance to us. I was sure I would find you among them"

Ser Arthur Dayne "We do not kneel so easily" he says after listening to Lord Eddard

Lord Eddard "Ser Willem Darry has fled to Dragonstone with your queen and the

Prince Viserys. I thought you would have shipped with them" he says after not having found them in Storm's End

Ser Oswell "Ser Willem is a good and honest man," he says, thinking of the royal family that has managed to survive.

Ser Gerold "But he does not belong to the Royal Guard" he says and continues "The Royal Guard does not run away"

Ser Arthur "Not then, not now" he says putting on his helmet

Ser Gerold "We swore an oath," he says, also putting on his helmet.

Eddard's companions join him, swords in hand, they were seven against three

Ser Arthur "And this is going to start right now" he says unsheathing his sword of dawn, Dawn, and holding it with both hands. The sword is white as milky glass; the light it radiates seems to have life

Lord Eddard "No, this is going to end right now" he replied putting on his guard ready for the fight
