Chapter 4: Chapter 4: First Sword 1

One year and six months later

 

Lisa POV

 

My brother has been distracted but he still trains well, he seems 6 years old my parents say. Since my father works in the smithy making swords, my brother has begged him to make him a sword, and my father told him that he would give him one when he turns 4 years old, I also asked him for one, he told me that he would make me one with the condition that my mother will not find out, because otherwise she would scold him, although my father is muscular he is afraid of my mother, hahaha

 

My brother and I practice with wooden swords when our parents are busy working, since I started practicing with swords I feel that I should be a warrior, and my brother says that I have the talent to be

 

Lisa "Brother, it's 6 months until my father gives us the swords"

 

Lancel "Yes, but you have to train more, and hide it from my mother" said my brother laughing

 

Lisa "Yes"

 

Lisa 'My brother seems worried about something I can't understand'

 

Lancel POV

Lisa "Okay" she said bewildered by what her brother told her

 

Lance went to find a chair and climbed on the back of the chair to simulate a fall, when Mary entered the house she saw her son Lancel fall headfirst to the ground and pass out.

Mary "Son... wake up don't worry me" she said hugging Lancel, with tears in her eyes, seeing this scene Lisa remembers what Lancel told her not to worry too much about him and helps calm Mary down.

 

Mary takes Lancel to the Maestre's tower to check on Lancel's condition and leaves Lisa at home to tell Robert where she is.

 

On the other hand, Lancel asked the system to allow him to enter a coma, still the pain he experiences right now is worse than death as he feels like he is being burned to a level  but he can't is allowed a moment of relief, he believes that this time the system overdid it with the pain he experiences and that he must endure for seven days

 

System "If the Host does not support he will only have the two current powers, and he only has one chance left for a new power, later the system will give him missions which the Host must carry out in one way or another, depending on the decision of how The Host wants to end it" said the voice in Lancel's mind

 

Lancel has no choice but to endure this bitter moment, and now that the system told him about the missions he feels that he must strive to have these powers so that they allow him to survive if there is a mission that could cost him his life, he does not want to die without complete a mission as it did when him were a SWAT member

 

The Master told him that he is unconscious from the blow, to wait a few days for him to wake up naturally, still Mary returned worried with Lancel in her arms, when he got home Robert takes Lancel and puts him to bed, then talks with Mary about what happened and asks Lisa to be with her brother while he comforts Mary

 

Mary doesn't go to work until Lancel wakes up, while Lisa spends this time alone studying since her mother is home and can't train, at least her brother told her when he was going to wake up

 

Lancel POV

 

Lancel 'When I woke up, the first thing I saw was my mother by my bed, looking tired and pale skinned, and Lisa lying on the floor with only a blanket, while Robert sat by the window frowning and drinking wine

 

Lancel "Mother, wake up, go to your bed to rest"

 

Robert "Let her sleep" he says as he gets up and carries her in his arms to the room, then he goes out and stares at me

 

Lance "What's up?"

 

Lancel 'This time i cause a lot of inconvenience, I really hope it doesn't happen to me again, and that the system doesn't cause me more pain like this'

 

Robert "That's what I should say, why do you make your mother worry so much? I'll give you the sword you want before your birthday, but if something like this happens again I'll hit you so you don't do it again" he said with a face of anger

 

Lancel "I'm sorry father, I won't do it again"

 

Robert "I hope so, it's a promise, like I'll make you the sword you want, and so that this doesn't happen again I'll give it to you when I have it ready as it's a small sword it will take me longer to finish it" he said with a big smile on his lips, then picks up Lisa and lets her sleep next to me
