[Black dart]

A swarm of black blades descended from the sky, accompanied by the chant, and they sliced through the air, targeting enemies’ heads.

Amidst the enemies who were caught off guard by the sudden attack, one stood.

He calmly collected mana at his fingertips, creating a spark in the air.

He then shouted,

“Don’t panic, keep the machine running!”

With those words, he enchanted the flames to create six massive pillars of fire.

The pillars moved like living snakes, devouring the black darts in midair. The Las Bomb within the darts was also consumed by the flames.

pop-!! pop! pop!! Puffung!!

‘Um?’

The powerful explosion from within caused the snake-like flames to lose power and slowly dissipate.

Oliver was unsure of the principle behind it, but it seemed that the flames were weak against explosions.

This was somewhat intriguing.

While this was happening, some of the enemies connected large wires emitting intense electricity to power an old and rusty machine.

The machine made an eerie noise as it sprang to life, and hot heat began to circulate as the turbine started spinning.

[Hate Bullet!]

“What?”

“What…!”

Oliver, who had descended to the ground, fired a Hate Bullet and successfully shut down the machine.

He had taken advantage of the moment when everyone’s attention was focused on the machine’s activation, and had used [Erase Exit] to conceal his presence.

This tactic had proven to be effective, as no one had noticed him until he fired the Hate Bullets.

He considered this to be useful and thought he might use this method again in the future.

‘Dispersion of consciousness and Eraser exit… ..simple but effective.’

As if to confirm the effectiveness of his tactics, the enemies belatedly pointed their guns at Oliver, but the machine that he had already damaged was beyond repair.

Oliver used his black magic once more, casting [Creepy Scream].

The emotions transformed into black smoke in his hands, forming a painful, moaning face in the air.

At the same time, a terrifying scream echoed throughout the area.

AYIYAYAYAYAIAYAYAYAYAIAYAYAIAYAAYAYAYAYAAYAIAYAYAIYAYIAYAIAYIAYAIYIA!

The creepy screams that ravaged eardrums and minds echoed throughout the center of the incinerator, causing all those who couldn’t resist to cover their ears.

Only one person, the Fire Wizard with a bald head and a red beard didn’t cover his ears.

Instead, he took out a potion and drank it, as if he was accustomed to fighting despite his appearance being not much different from a typical bar-goer.

GULP

GULP

GULP

Each time he swallowed the potion, the wizard’s heart throbbed and his mana increased exponentially.

Oliver thought the wizard would attack with this increased mana, but he instead threw bombs at Oliver, seemingly not caring if his allies were caught in the blast.

But Oliver quickly realized he had misjudged the situation.

CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK

The allies, who had been covering their ears, threw away their weapons and clung to Oliver, restraining him as if they were prepared to die.

“If you do this, you won’t be safe either,” Oliver said.

“Did you think we were fighting for our country without that kind of resolution?”

They meant it.

They were ready to die, fueled by intense hatred and anger.

“Um… I see.”

With that remark, Oliver lifted the enemies that were holding him in unison and threw them away, thanks to the strength of the black suit.

The bomb caused a powerful explosion and colored the surroundings with a creepy red color.

The bomb seemed to be infused with mana, focusing on creating flames rather than the power of the explosion.

The flames, which emitted high firepower by burning mana, wriggled like snakes again and rushed toward Oliver.

Oliver quickly raised the output of the black suit to dodge the flames, but the enemies opened fire in unison as if they had been waiting.

Each shot was fine, but the black suit gradually began to weaken as it was fired at intensively.

However, the flames were more dangerous than bullets.

The mana-infused flames fired ridiculous firepower as if they would burn everything they swallowed.

The fire wizard had a talent for flame manipulation and his ability was quite high.

Oliver thought that if the incinerator had been allowed to operate it would have been a disaster, maybe he was lucky.

He thought that if he could hold on until support arrived, something would work out.

But as if the enemy knew this, the huge fireball suddenly split in two and one flew in the direction from where Arthur and the others were coming.

The flaming ball of fire fluctuated greatly and created a flame wall, preventing Arthur and Joe from entering.

“He’s the most dangerous guy! First, cook this guy, and then sweep the rest!” shouted the fire wizard.

“OHHHHH!”

As the enemy fire wizard spoke with flames all over his body, his men responded.

The wizard, perhaps intending to fully focus on Oliver, protected himself thoroughly with flames on his body and launched a concentrated offensive on Oliver with his men.

The fierce sound, heat, and gunfire burning the air drove Oliver, and Oliver avoided and blocked with the power of the Black suit, drawing emotions in one hand and throwing black darts as they were.

– Surrrr Surrrr Surrrr Surrrr

Dozens of blades flew towards the enemy with a sharp sound of spiraling and cutting the wind.

The fire wizard manipulated the flame and moved it like a giant snake, devouring the black darts.

‘He’s good, though limited,’ thought Oliver.

The black darts burned, and before long the Las Bomb inside them exploded once more.

The fire wizard was fooled again by the way Oliver used it before.

It seemed that this was the only magic that he could handle properly.

It was not that it was bad, but in the end, it was an opportunity for Oliver.

The snake made of flame collapsed again in the aftermath of the explosion, and the enemy fire wizard raised his mana and tried to revive the flame.

Given his ability to borrow the firepower of bombs, it wouldn’t be easy to raise that high firepower again.

Thanks to this, his attention got away from Oliver for a while, and Oliver did not miss the timing and fired Hate Bullets.

[Hate Bullet!]

The fire wizard, thinking he was the target of the bullets, gathered flames to spread his shield, but unfortunately, Oliver’s target was not him, it was the other enemies who stood by him.

The careless enemies fell in vain, penetrated by the bullets of hatred, and Oliver immediately extracted the Life-force and used black magic.

[Revive]

The Life-force was sucked into the dead enemy’s body and revived the bodies.

Oliver used additional black magic.

[Obedience]

[Object Hate]

Oliver ordered the resurrected bodies to attack the fire wizard, who was right next to them.

The fire wizard panicked and tried to incinerate the zombies by raising the power of the flames that surrounded his body.

In fact, the firepower was so great that the bodies became ashes almost immediately.

[Corpse Bomb]

Just as the body was about to be completely ashes, Oliver condensed and exploded the emotions and Life-force he put into the body.

Thanks to the use of three materials: Life-force, emotion, and body, it exerted more power than the usual explosive black magic.

Although it did not take down the fire wizard, it was enough to neutralize the powerful flame shield he wore around his body.

It was a very short time, but Oliver didn’t miss the timing and threw the magic paper he had prepared in advance.

Not as much as Merlin, but the magic paper flew sharply and stuck right in front of the fire wizard.

Oliver activated the magic circle on the paper in that state.

The magic in the ink responded to Oliver’s will and formed a purple portal.

Although it was only the size of a hole, it was more than enough.

“Uhahahahahha –!!! ”

A corpse doll popped out from the portal and attacked the fire wizard.

Not [Warlock], not [Sniper], not [Rag], but a completely new type of corpse doll with a tonfa in both hands.

It was none other than Duncan.

Perhaps not yet synchronized with Child, the corpse doll-Duncan clumsily surrounded the fire wizard’s neck and beat him constantly with his fist holding the tonfa.

Although his posture was much clumsier compared to Duncan in his lifetime, the basic power was properly implemented and showed better performance than the discarded corpse doll [Swordsman].

Oliver reconfirmed that the material has to be good to get better performance.

The fire wizard gathered his mana and tried to distance himself somehow, but the corpse doll-Duncan refused to let go and attacked desperately like a fighting dog.

Thanks to that, the fire wizard couldn’t escape, and thanks to that, the enemies who supported the wizard hesitated because they didn’t know how to respond.

Oliver used black darts again in the meantime.

It was an attack that had already failed twice, but it didn’t miss this time because the fire wizard was busy being beaten by Duncan.

The enemies fell to the ground one after another, and the situation quickly reversed.

In fact, the flames fired to prevent Oliver’s attack were noticeably weakened.

The fire wizard’s emotions became impatient at once, and as if to win, he tried to generate flames once again by converting his mana focused on defense.

Of course, Oliver wasn’t just watching.

[Freeze]

Mana was extracted from the test tube and activated.

Since it was not a humid environment, it was not as powerful as when used in the sewage system, but it could interfere with the flame.

And that was enough.

“Uhahhauhahuha.”

Corpse Doll – Duncan punched the frosted fire wizard with all his might.

Perhaps it was because of the misfire while gathering his mana, he fell limp after being hit by the attack.

He didn’t faint, but he couldn’t resist anymore.

‘And yet the emotional state is strange.’ Oliver thought as he looked at the limp fire wizard.

There was a sense of defeat in the emotions, but that didn’t mean he was full of despair.

Rather, there was a faint sense of relief and satisfaction.

Oliver couldn’t understand why he was feeling that way.

“Hey, Dave, are you okay?”

Arthur’s party appeared as the flames cleared.

It was obvious that everyone had a fierce fight, but no one was seriously injured or killed.

“Yes, I’m fine. Are you all okay?”

“What the f…. Did you overpower Willes by yourself?”

Arthur asked in disbelief.

He couldn’t believe that Oliver had caught Willes, a powerful fire mage known throughout the United Kingdom, on his own.

“No, I didn’t catch Mr. Willes,” Oliver clarified.

Arthur was surprised. “Did you miss him?”

“No, I didn’t miss him either. He wasn’t here from the beginning,” Oliver said as he scanned the area, but he couldn’t see anyone belonging to the Kell Liberation Army.

“The only thing that’s here is that person,” Oliver said, pointing to Hammersh, Willes’ lieutenant who had been captured by the corpse doll-Duncan.

Arthur recognized him.

“It’s Hammersh, Willes’ lieutenant. A fire manipulation wizard and a pretty troublesome guy. Where’s Willes?”

Hammersh spit blood in Arthur’s face instead of answering.

Arthur dodged the spit and hit Hammersh several times with his golem prosthetic arm.

Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam .

With the sound of flesh exploding, Arthur poured out his anger.

It was as if he was resentful of missing Wallace.

‘I think he’d made enough money on this job… then why? Isn’t it just a matter of money?’

In the midst of Oliver’s thoughts, Arthur asked again.

“Tell me. Where’s your leader?!

The fire wizard replied with a swollen face as he was beaten.

He was genuinely pleased, not pretentious.

“It’s too late… you guys are f*cked.”

With those words, Hammersh’s mana surged backward, emitting hot air from within his body.

It was so fast that they couldn’t do anything about it- Arthur was confused by the unexpected situation and tried to give first aid, but it was already too late.

He died with smoke and flames in his eyes and a nasty smell in his mouth.

Full of determination, trusting, and relying on someone at the same time.

Oliver watched him die without a word, and suddenly Oliver and Arthur’s communication device cried at the same time in the midst of the mess trying to save him somehow.

Beep beep! Beep beep!

Beep, beep, beep, beep.

An unusual feeling…

When they pressed the communication device, they heard the voice of urgent brokers.

The voices were different, but the content was the same.

[It’s a mess. The city prison has been raided. It’s Willes]
