It was shaped like what appeared to be an extremely dense cluster of [Destruction Power], clustered in the vague form of a human.

The thing spoke in a horrible mockery of Sirzechs voice, crystal clear even above the noise the world itself made as it shook with the force of that thing's presence , the space-time of the area distorting as it lost its cohesion.

The sounds that normally came out of the Crimson Lucifer's throat were soft, soothing and even melodious, befitting someone who had succeeded the Devil known as the Seducer of Mankind.

The voice of this thing, if it could be called that, was cold, dark, ominous, full of a supernatural power that sent shivers down your spine with every sound you made.

It was something that shouldn't even exist.

The thing replied, the parts of its body that were probably its shoulders rising in an indifferent shrug at the Lion King's question.

The moment Sirzechs' foot touched the ground the whole area began to disintegrate.

"I cannot control my power in this form, even more so with this extra power, so I cannot stay in it for long, lest I harm the world itself. I apologize, Gilgamesh, but I will have to end this in a moment."

The thing announced as it raised what appeared to be a hand.

A black mass began to form at the tip of the finger, growing rapidly and getting infinitely darker as the [Power of Destruction] compressed into a spherical shape.

Gilgamesh observed the volleyball-sized orb that had taken on a shade of black darker than the night itself, a black star of annihilation, bits of debris scattered around the area pulling toward it the gravitational force increased.

But just as the black star seemed to have reached critical mass, possessing such absolute gravity that even Gilgamesh had to resist to avoid being pulled toward it, another change occurred.

A black darkness devoured the area, plunging them into a realm of total darkness.

It was then, that with a single wave the black star of annihilation was thrown at Gilgamesh.

The black sphere of destruction surged forward annihilating everything in its path as it advanced towards Gilgamesh.

Seeing the star of destruction advancing towards him, Gilgamesh that all he could do was strengthen his [Susanoo].

A huge ethereal shield appeared in front of Gilgamesh as his [Susanoo] wielded it to protect himself.

It was one of the treasures of Gilgamesh's [Susanoo], the [Mirror of Yata], a spirit weapon that was endowed with the five transformations of nature and could neutralize any attack.

However, the moment it collided with the black star of destruction, the shield gave way.

Gilgamesh's eyes widened as he saw his shield completely annihilated.

The [Mirror of Yata] could nullify any attack referring to the natural elements, but this was not true for an attack that was basically destruction incarnate.

Seeing his shield being completely annihilated and the [Power of Destruction] beginning to consume his [Susanoo] Gilgamesh quickly jumped out of his defense.

All he saw was his "Absolute Defense" being completely annihilated by Sirzechs' power that completely consumed it.

Before Gilgamesh could react Sirzechs, or the thing that took his place, had sprung up in front of the King of Heroes as his fist covered in pure [Power of Destruction] struck Gilgamesh.

All the King of Heroes could do was put his arms up defensively and activate his [Armament Haki] so that he could protect himself from the attack.

Even so Gilgamesh was hit and was sent flying into a mountain.

Gilgamesh's body crashed against the rocks as he destroyed part of the mountain.

Gilgamesh grunted in pain, not only from the blow, but also from the fact that the [Power of Destruction] had injured him. The skin covering Gilgamesh's arms had been destroyed, exposing his nerves to the open air and causing the King of Heroes to narrow his eyes.

Soon blue flames covered his arms while in an instant Gilgamesh regenerates all his wounds with the power of [Tori Tori no Mi].

"I would advise you to give up soon Gilgamesh, your current power is no match for me"

Sirzechs said in his twisted voice as he hoped Gilgamesh would give up soon.

However the answer Sirzechs got was not what he expected.

"Give up? Do you think I would lose so easily Sirzechs?!" shouted Gilgamesh.

Divine power exploded from the demigod's body as the entire mountain around him was totally annihilated by the sheer power, and even the darkness of Sirzechs' power was forced to retreat for a moment.

"This battle is not over until one of us falls dead!" shouted Gilgamesh as his animation was at an all-time high.

How long had it been since he had felt like this in a fight?! When had he not been wounded like this?

This is what he wanted, a battle where he would be pushed to the limit, where his flesh danced and his blood boiled, where it was kill or be killed.

That's what he really wanted, there was no way he was going to let it end this way.

Seeing that, Sirzechs sighed.

"I see, so you first then."

With a wave of Sirzechs hand a huge beam of pure [Power of Destruction] shot out at Gilgamesh.

I have to say he who was able to kill a high class devil in just an hour was evenly matched after 9 year of training i don't see the reason why he should have system when you will nerf him. At the same time if he really even worked i am not taking about working hard he should be able to fight with Sairoge just because of his bloodline. I am just going to see how much you will nerf him. I don't even find any real review. Because everyone is so interested on Gil.

It's alright but a bit boring due to the usual op infinite wealth and system store combo. Don't bother with the first 15 chapters nothing relevant happens. Most of the story in the first 15 chapters consist of stats and skill spams, even then every few chapters they occur again there is no sense of game related progression as a result and makes that story mechanic look like an eyesore taking away time from the story. Neither does the mc decide to become a devil and make his own peerage which is arguably the only unique selling point of the DXD series, as every other selling point is done in other fandoms and much better. If you aren't or don't become a devil in DxD, it's like becoming a television guide maker in the world of pokemon after choosing to reincarnate there. DxD is like pokemon with people, you got a limited team size and you challenge the rating games together. That's essentially a Pokemon league setting with your captured pokemon. The other aspects are the usual DBZ type encounters that grand you an uphill struggle against ever more powerful oppnents and fight to watch each time... Thirdly is the ecchi harem component. Simply put, this fic doesn't make use of the three selling points of the DxD series, nor does it make use of the other selling points introduced in a meaningful manner. Its like watching a humor less one punch man series, ft an unbeatable gamer and little to no emotional anything. That's fine for many, but it is why I rate the story the was I did.

It's wasn't great at start but it's was pretty much Okey. But more it goes the worst it gets. Because in the latest chapters, author just like that *forget* some information and just like that start to follow Canon and make nonsense. Retarted nonsense out of this novel. Nothing new, I can handle it... No that's not even a mine problem. Oh no. In the latest chapter out prideful and mighty mc that like to imitate King of heroes catch a serious illness. Bipolarity. And my God, in one second this guy be a gilgamesh in another dumb chuni teenager - well done. Brilliant just brilliant. P. S. Some guys was pointing out in comments that author doesn't have ideas - and yep, that is the case. Because after those comments chapters become even worse. A fitting end for imitation like mc.

Sorry to be blunt, but isn't this fan-fiction too overrated? I mean, it's decent, but in my opinion, it isn't that good to be in the top 10. The MC in the early chapters have some kinda personality disorder where in one moment he says he's ruthless but in the next moment, he spares his enemy. The grammar isn't even that good. He even got editors and stuff that doesn't really change anything about the writing quality. Regarding what I think of the story development, I didn't even get past chapter 60, so I don't know about that. All of this is only my opinion as a reader. For those fans of this fan-fiction that got triggered by this review, I'm sorry, but I can only see this as a decent fan-fic and not at the level to be in the top 10.

Gilgamesh in DxD, nice concept and potential, but Big oof. Sadly Disappointed with the fight scene. The writing style is the big downside of this novel, author decide to overdetailed some useless information(Author can just use auxiliary chapters, but decide to infodump useless information on the chapter), but left the other scene(especially battle scene) with minimal effort, feels like reading diary. There's also some confusing word that doesn't make sense, and some inconsistency like skill name (ex: Devil Slayer of Lightning, then Lightning Devil Slayer). This is not about grammar anymore, more of the laziness of not proof reading it carefully before posting the chapter

I don't Know why this is even in the Top rated novels, it just seems kinda physically impossible considering what I read. The world building and some attention to details is decent but the Characters and Developments are infuriating. The pronouns for most times are ok but the Grammer is horrendous and most of the passages are butchered or outright copy-paste from other novels. The MC is Gilgamesh in Name only, his actions and though process scream underdeveloped and in a honest sense Beta, for ex. in 75ish chapter his girl is almost murdered by a priest who didn't want to continue the conversation and suddenly wants to speak after seeing mc and some powerful foes and what does he do? He welcomes him Inside and isn't even mad!!! That's my rant and opinion. If you want to read it my recommendation will be a big fat no.
