Chapter 5: Elementary: The Day They Met 5

Kotori extends out her hand in an inviting way.

It was as if she was welcoming him into a new world.

Keita averts his head to the side and said,

「I don't want to.」

「Don't be like that! Come on!」

She walks forward and takes his hand.

She pulls him up and out from the shade and walks into the sunlight.

「O-oi! What are yo-!」

She lets go of his hand and gives him a quick pat on the chest.

「Tag your it!」

And then skedaddles away.

He looks at her with big eyes and as she turns around and teases him.

「Wagame-kun is too slow to catch me!!」

「W-what did you say ~hora!!!!」

Keita gave in quickly to her taunt and chases after her around the playground.

Kotori was laughing and smiling while Keita was trying to get back at her, but then he became absorbed into her pace and began to smile and laugh as he gave chase.

Kotori reaches the tree where Keita was once sitting at and hid behind it. She was peeking from both sides of the tree to trick Keita.

When Keita ran to one side, Kotori escaped from the side.
