Three baleful screeches resounded around as if it came from the halls of hell. Three souls sprang forth from the Magic Circle and entered each of the empty husks that were the Beasts. After that a Green Mana Core hovered in front of him. Arthur once more conjured a magic circle but this time it was on top of the Core. Green smoke then burst forth from the Core itself and turned into a mini tornado of Green Corrosive Gas. After a few seconds the tornado dispersed and a Giant Crocodile with spikes on its back appeared. It's plate of armor like scales looked physical yet the rest of its body looked ethereal. It was an apparition of its former self.
Arthur turned toward the Three Beasts "Go forth and exact your vengeance on the mortal fools that tried to tinker with your bodies and life. This second chance, use it well and destroy everything they've accomplished and built. And thank them on my behalf for waking me up." Arthur said as his pitch black eyes flickered. "And as for you." He continued as he looked at the ethereal Crocodilla. "Go forth and devour the soul of the man who fiddled with the dead. Quench your voracious appetite with his blood and bones."
Swoosh!
The Four Monstrous Beast took off like the wind without leaving any trace as time once again began to move. Arthur gave them power they previously didn't have. And fuelled by the rage and hate of their souls Arthur knew the job would be done. But of course those powers were temporary. After the deed is done those Beasts are set to return to the cycle of life. But unbeknownst to Arthur, or perhaps knew and just didn't care, this small whim of his would cause the fall of one the most prominent organisations in this world.
Arthur didn't feel any hate or anger towards the people responsible for this tragedy. He simply punished them on behalf of Little Lu because Gin, Leah and Mary were his friends. He also experienced how they treated Little Lu first hand on the memories he received. So he knew Little Lu would be devastated to see them like this and know their current state.
He didn't feel any deep and profound connection to these kids as much as Little Lu does and if even one of them dies he wouldn't bat an eye. After all, something as trivial as death can be rewinded… like this.
After Arthur sent the Beast away blood ran down his nose. "So this is the limit, two minutes if I use my powers plus one more if I push it."
He analysed as he healed all the injuries the children had. Leah's wounds closed and disappeared without leaving any scar. Gin's missing arm regrew and the hole in Mary's chest closed. But she was still pale and cold.
After doing so Arthur staggered a little. The body was reaching its limit but he wasn't done yet. 'It's weaker than I thought.'
Arthur didn't waste anymore time and bent down towards Mary. He stretched his arms and placed it on her forehead. 'There you are.' He thought after a while and released a blinding light from his hand. After that Arthur closed his eyes and collapsed. His hair became shorter and his height shortened. His body transformed to that of Little Lu. Mary's body regained its peachy glow and her heart beat once again.
After Arthur collapsed, about fifteen seconds passed before something crashed down from above!
"LUCIAN!!!" Exclaimed by a woman with draconic features.
It was Calir and not long after she came a man with milky wings also came crashing down, it was Chris. In terms of power, Calir was above Chris by a stage so she was faster. The husband and wife held and examined the children as they observed the destruction around them. There were broken trees, rocks and small craters around. There were sharp cuts at some places and the most important part, there were multiple footprints and they definitely belonged to some Beasts.
After they found no life threatening injuries on the children's bodies they heaved a sigh of relief. "What the hell happened here?" Asked Calir not leaving his eyes on Little Lu's face. Out of all the children Little Lu looked more fatigued.
"I could feel Leah and Gin's mana around and a faint mana from Mary. According to Noah's premonition there should be Beast nearby but I've already surveyed the place. There are no signs of beasts in the surrounding area." Chris was creasing his brow. Earlier he and Calir met along the way and were rushing towards this place when all of a sudden a bright light covered the area. Calir sped up using her strongest spell.
Calir was focused solely on Little Lu. She was afraid he would disappear if she blinked.
"LEAH!!!" Lionell arrived a few moments later and he kneeled down in relief knowing Leah was in a good condition. He carried her and looked at Chris and Calir but the two only shook their heads.
"We couldn't draw any solid conclusion of what happened here. But we do know that the children used their spells. I could picture them fighting a Beast but there were none. It made no sense." Chris said as he tried his best to deduce what happened. The only indication of there being a Beast were the footprints on the ground but there were multiple beasts prints. It didn't make any sense why so many beasts would gather here and leave the children only with torn clothes. It was a universal fact that Beasts feel great aggression towards humans, especially powerful ones. There are some which are docile by nature but the footprints didn't belong to any of them.

Three people in white garments appeared. "Elders!" Chris said respectfully. These three were the one drinking tea when a suppressive energy suddenly rained upon them. They rushed here the last but they were only second to arrive after Chris, Calir and Lionell.
"So… this is the one that released that frightening power." Said the elder with a huge frame, long white beard and bushy eyebrows. He looked at Gin and sighed "What a frightening little lad."
Chris and Calir were shocked! They definitely forgot about that incident the moment they saw Little Lu lying on the ground but now that they thought about it. It was definitely shocking, after all they knew the boy. "Elder Darwin, how are you sure that Gin was responsible for that frightening suppression?" Asked Chris towards the elder with a huge frame like a bear and bushy brows.
"I- " the elder was about to speak when suddenly they heard footsteps from afar. "It's better to ask him this instead." Continued the elder as the one responsible for the footsteps came into view.
"Is my son alright?" Asked a man calmly but with furrowed brows indicating his concern. He has one arm and a bandana on his head and he had the same black hair and red eyes as Gin.
"He is alright Yama." Said Chris to this man and soon enough Yama's expression softened up. He picked up Gin and was about to walk away when all of a sudden, Chris said. "We need to talk after we get back." Yama paused and nodded before silently going back to Village but his expression soon warped into that of a broad smile after the others couldn't see him anymore. This man, Yama, was an aloof and a loner at the Village. He doesn't communicate with anyone other than his son and seems to be in a world of his own. But even so he does his part in the Village. He was the blacksmith and was responsible for fixing and providing tools the Villagers could use. Even with only one arm he was still able to craft high quality tools for the Villagers so he was respected and was left to his own. They do invite him but he doesn't attend any celebration.
"You three should go back. Treat the children and care for them. The three of us will stay here and look around for a bit." Said Elder Darwin to Chris, Calir and Lionell and after nodding, they all went back in hurry.
After they were gone, "So… Do you think that little monster has anything to do with this?" Asked by the Elder with white spiky hair and a muscular body.
"I'm afraid so, Max, I could feel the Mana in the surrounding are restless and in turmoil." The female Elder with cold blue eyes said with poised and gracefulness. She then followed, "This only happens when Lucian is in touch with Mana and Chris and Calir weren't able to feel the slight change because of their worry." She then remembered how Chris and Calir approached them on what to do when Mana manifested inside their house to play with Little Lu. She was so shocked but she noted down every change whenever this happened. And it's happening now.
Unbeknownst to these Elders, it was Arthur who made contact with Mana and not Lucian. Also the only reason why Little Lu was able to affect Mana so much was because of the body that he resides in. Its owner is practically the owner of everything in this world so it had an inborn connection with Mana. But nevertheless Mana likes Little Lu more because of how pure and free spirited the boy was. On the other hand, Mana feels subservient to Arthur and wouldn't even dare to think about playing with him.
"Nancy, you are the most knowledgeable one among us here. Have you figured out why Mana, this mysterious and profound energy behaves as such in the presence of Lucian?" Max the muscular Elder asked Elder Nancy.
"No, I no longer possess the capabilities to look into it anymore." She shook her head and sighed.
"My only guess is that the Beast here vanished because they were harming the children, specially Lucian and the culprit for their disappearance is none other than Mana itself." Elder Nancy said with creased brows. They were simply powerless right now. They couldn't probe, use or even affect Mana like they used to using their spells. The best they could do was form conclusions all because of a mark engraved on their body. Every Villager had one except for a few individuals.
"What matters is that the children are alright and safe. There is also no sign of any Demon here so I'm guessing Yama's boy awakened his powers and fought with the Beast alongside Lionell's daughter who also awakened during the crisis with Johan's daughter as a support. But they couldn't do much and along the way Mana went berserk and vaporized the Beasts because of Lucian. He might've been put in a dangerous situation so Mana stepped in." Elder Darwin explained and looked at the other two. "What do you think?" He asked them.
"It's plausible." Said Elder Nancy while Elder Max just nodded and was in deep thought.
"Lionell's daughter, she… nevermind." Max said but didn't finish his statement. They should just leave it to Lionell and let him decide on what to do. The Elders saw the lion mark on her chest, that's why they knew she awakened her primal instinct. That mark means that she has been baptized and has been shown the memories of her ancestor, the source of her power but her source was none other than her mother. They knew about Leah but they didn't know about Leo. They were in a secluded place all this time and they also left in a hurry so they hadn't heard about the fiasco Leo caused at the Village.
The elders just sighed and thought the new generation was already in the process of sharpening their fangs which they will bare soon enough.
The three Elders looked around for a while before they went back, unable to find any more clues.
