Chapter 131: Unnatural hunger

A soft blanket of snow covered the Endora Kingdom’s northern lands. Before Seth rose and took reign of the kingdom, winter used to reap more innocent lives than any criminal ever could.

This has mostly stayed the same outside the Capital, where winter is just as cruel and merciless as ever.

Seth and Katy had teleported past Wrath’s border with Endora, arriving in a large white open field. Leaving the warmth of Seth’s arms, Katy moved a few steps forward through the snow.

“So this is your home.”

Seth chuckled and rubbed her head, asking sarcastically: “Do I really look homeless to you?”

Katy turned around with a pout. “You know what I meant. How much longer until we reach the capital?”

“Not long now. Are you sure you’re not cold? Walking around in nothing but a shirt and pants….”

Katy looked down at her clothes and shook her head. “I don’t know why, but I’m actually fine. It must be related to the change….”

Seeing Katy shake her head, Seth turned to the system for answers. ‘How is that possible? Is she replenishing her energy naturally?’

Katy nodded shyly, her head still lowered, hiding from Seth’s gaze. Seth ignored her shy behavior and turned to look around the land. “I still have some energy left, but let’s stop here for a while. We’ll resume our journey in an hour or so. I’ll make a tent for you.”

“No need.” Said Katy, pointing towards her feet, where the snow had disappeared completely.

Seth frowned and put his hand on her forehead, but he couldn’t feel any difference in her body heat. He then tried to feel around her for any kind of strange energy, but there was none other than lust, which was still contained inside her body and couldn’t have dissolved the snow.

‘What the hell is melting the snow?’
