It's been almost 10 days since an uninvited soul got transferred into the body of an ex-mercenary and current high schooler. After so many years of suffering and longing, the soul finally found a place where it could reside and rejoice each day.

Ijin's daily life has continuously become smoother than the previous one. He has adapted to his newly found body and powers to some decent extent. He was sure that until not an army come to bite, he won't get defeated by any single human presence on the planet.

The backing of his confidence was three obvious things. His inhuman strength and speed come from his concentrated breathing. Next, his peculiar eyes which might frighten anyone upon glancing once at them, and the eyes which could pierce through any kind of vault or human flesh. And the last is his own capabilities which come from the rigorous training Ijin has gone through for countable years.

In the house, everyone has come to get well along with the new member who abruptly came into their life. Ijin after the incident became a little more protective of Dayun but the latter only treated her brother's affection toward her and their aunt purely welcomed the growing familial love in the house.

As for training, then in absence of the system administrator, Ijin was undergoing the necessary training he thinks was to improve himself and get ready for whatever conquest awaited him not more than 20 days.

...

Today was Monday. Commencement of yet another week with the people returning to their job and studies. The incident with Dayun and Yuna happened on the weekend, that is two days ago and after that, neither side contacted the other. Ijin didn't care what SW was thinking about this matter nor did he was fearing of any other attack as he already has taken measures this time.

But he knew once he would face the blue eyes maiden in school, things won't go unnoticed by others.

"Hey!" As soon he got settled on his seat, the hazel-haired girl who had a bewitching smile on her baby face chimed in and greeted him in a voice that couldn't be ignored by any means.

"Morning." In the voice which told how much Ijin was interested to hold a chat with her, he replied. The people who just began to murmur about this sudden development felt a little shocked upon noticing how cold Ijin could be at times.

The outer appearance of Shin Yuna was undoubtedly at the point where men regardless of age would turn their heads in her direction at least once. Her natural aura was just like that, which could attract attention even though she doesn't call for it. And for her background...well, it was widely known what powers her family beholds.

And that Shin Yuna got cold shoulder! Time has changed...

"Woah! I never saw that coming." The short-haired neighbor of Ijin exclaimed upon sensing the atmosphere between them. From past day experience, Ijin came to realize how Soo-Ah and Yuna were close to each other. So her comment on the matter didn't surprise him.

"Hey, Soo-Ah."

"What's with that dry greeting? Am I that eye sore?" Yuna just smiled before shaking her head. Soon their conversation initiated and Ijin didn't bother to listen as he already got another thing to focus on.

[You have become stronger just in two days and have adapted with your other self in a quite frightening manner. What did I miss?]

Despite being slightly arrogant like the speaker always seems, this time the voice sounded a little generous to Ijin which he wholeheartedly welcomed. A barely visible smile formed on his face as he conveyed his thoughts.

'Nothing. Just throwing fists and kicks here and there. Well, I also feel that I have become a little different these days. If it's about the integration of my and Ijin's soul, then can you tell me how is speeding up? Well, I dont have to complain moreover I am liking my new self even more.' The formation of two souls sounds problematic in any sense, as in one's life various things happen which differ an entity from others. But even with that, these two certain personalities have slowly yet surely started accepting each other.

[There is no proper definition of how two souls can get together in one body but looking at your current status I could assume that the original owner must have been satisfied with your action and let you have to peer deep into his soul. Anyway, leave it at that. For now, whatever is happening is better than we anticipated. Keep it up!]

Like a hurried lady who just got reminded of last minute sale, the connection between the two got disconnected. There wasn't any sound of discontinuation of their communication, but Ijin could feel the slight presence inside his mind disappearing as soon as the lady decides its time for her to depart.

As Ijin, lifted his eyes which were aimlessly focused on a book, he noticed that a certain amount of time has passed and the homeroom teacher, already was standing in front of the class.

He kept his book back while he stole a glance at his neighbor who surprisingly was looking at him for some reason. He smiled back before taking out his notebook and started to focus on the class.

While being in a constant state of concentrated breathing, Ijin acted normal from the outside and the change inside of him didn't come in the way of any kind of his work. More like, slowly he has started to lose focus when he was using his natural breath or concentrating on it. Just like his soul, his both breathe have also started merging slowly.

Time passed in a flash and before Ijin could realize lunch break already arrived. He was truly fascinated with the new theories which were brought in the class, and as a nerd, he wholeheartedly grabbed everything which was thrown at him.

He was just putting his books away when a tap on his desk, attracted his attention before he turned toward his right.

For the first time, he saw this kind of expression on Soo-Ah's face which was like she was flustered about something and was feeling quite troubled to express her thoughts unlike usual.

He glanced past her and noticed Sukjoo, as well as his employer, have left the class which didn't surprise him much as they both usually stay alone during lunchtime. It was a mystery how they weren't been in a relationship until now, moreover, neither of them had shown any kind of deep emotion toward each other even for an instance.

Fixing his gaze back he finally heard the words which were formulated inside Soo-Ah's mind for quite some time.

"Wanna grab something?.." Ijin eyes went a little wide before a chuckle left his mouth. The urge him to say 'Yeah you', was rising quite hard but he somehow suppressed it before responding.

"Yeah sure."

___...___

Being in the center of attraction has become quite familiar to Ijin as the day passed, but it wasn't the same for the girl walking beside him.

Soo-Ah was anything but popular in school. She had the charm to get known amongst various but she just liked isolation and except for Yuna and since sometime Ijin, she doesn't talk with anyone else in the school, usually.

So anyone could imagine what happens, when the loner kind of personality, suddenly gets a lot of attention.

"Argh! I should have stayed in the class." Ijin was all smiling from the time he got out of the class. Everyone was glancing in their way at least once which made the little bombshell quite frustrated as she grumbled now and then.

"I ain't surprise tho..." Soo-Ah glared at him without responding and made her way to the cafè while tolerating the occasional teasing coming from the tall guy beside her.

As soon they entered the cafè which was fairly large, Soo-Ah didn't ponder for long before grabbing the corner seat, isolated from the whole crowd. She finally got herself relaxed as soon she felt gazes from her disappearing as she sighed in relief.

"Haha...who have thought that girl like you would get so tensed upon getting attention."

"Girls like me huh? What perception did I build in eyes of the perfect hero?" She asked with a little mockery in her tone which quite suited to the image she have built until now.

Ijin's softened a little as he leaned down on the table and kept his face on his hand before asking.

"Are you sure you wanna hear it?" Soo-Ah didn't know why but seeing him like that and hearing his soft tone made her subconsciously straighten her back.

"Y-Yeah. Shoot it." Trying to maintain her all-time aloof demeanor she said while pretending to not care about his words much.

Ijin looked at her for a full minute, pushing her under a certain kind of anxiety and pressure that was creating knots in her stomach but she stayed silent and started back without a change of expression.

Suddenly, a soft smile lit on Ijin's face before he whispered silently under his breath which only the girl was able to listen to in the whole world.

"Let's leave it for next time. I fear you might run away in embarrassment if I was to voice out my honest thoughts about you." For three seconds, Soo-Ah didn't move but slowly when his every word registered in her mind, her face grew hotter as her hand slipped and her face fell on the table.

*Bam*

But instead of getting up, she stayed like that, maybe wanting to hide her face which contained a slight change of shade. Ijin chuckled before getting up and proceeding toward the counter to bring something for both of them.

...

After some minutes the atmosphere around them returned to normal as they chatted merrily while munching on the rice cake.

"I ain't paying for dis*nom*..." Ijin shook his head once before pulling out a paper towel and passing toward the wild girl who barely knew the courtesy to eat a simple rice ball.

"Well I won't ask you to pay but can I know why this sudden idea of eating together?" Ijin was more than happy to eat with someone at school too but since he wanted to give Dayun some space in school he felt more than happy when someone asked to accompany him. And when the said person was his crush...it was more than welcomed.

"Oh, that.." Her voice trailed off when she heard him as she lowered her hand after wiping the rice grains off her fluffy white cheeks before she again started to speak.

"Ijin I...I heard what happened." Ijin respond in a humm without changing his expression and continued munching on his rice cake.

"I am sorry for whatever happened and since you know how I am I never knew that your sister was getting bullied. More like even I had known I didn't have any method to stop it...so sorry for that". Ijin heard her clearly and felt the tinge of sadness and regret in her voice.

He calmly wiped his mouth and put down the tissue before fixing his gaze on her.

" It's okay. Whatever happened wasn't your fault and now since I am here nothing would go wrong. So stop worrying." She raised her brows and while glancing to the side ways muttered under her breath.

"Who is worried..." Ijin didn't respond and just chuckled at her antics.

Suddenly something lightened up in her mind as her face lightened up in an instant.

"That reminds me...are you free tonight?" Ijin got a little startled before he looked at her in surprise.

"Yeah...probably." Her eyes lit up even more as she leaned forward with a sweet smile on her face pressing her heavy asset onto the table top as she whispered cozily...

"Would like to go on a star gazing date with me...?"
