"Ijin....are you okay?" When my consciousness finally got fixed with my senses flaring at their fullest, I realized that I wasnt standing anymore. I was lying down on a bed with a white ceiling in front of my eyes. Turning my eyes to the left I saw the same women I saw before blacking out.

It took me some moments to register what I was and who they were. Basically, I got reborn in the world of mercenary enrollment, or maybe not, as the character of Yu Ijin. Second, the surprising thing was the woman who is worriedly looking at me right now was my aunt who is also my guardian. However, it wasnt the whole focus, the main point was that she wasnt a part of this story. As I remember correctly she is the Ajumma, Mikyung Jo from Boarding diary. The mature-looking woman with a sinful figure.

My sister from the manhwa was the same who was now looking at me with quite a troubled look too.

And the least surprising thing was, that I knew what they were speaking even though I didn't know a single syllable of Korean before.

"I am fine Ajumma. It was just the sudden jet lag." I held my head and got up from the bed slowly. The eternal beauty tried to support my back but in the end, her hand never touched me. It was to expect as she has seen me after so long.

Yeah, the plot was the same but in place of gramps, I got this stunning aunt for some reason.

I wasnt complaining tho...

The memories of Yu Ijin have been planted in the corner of my brain which I haven't teased until now. His training, coordinates of hundred of hideouts, the people he was looking out for, the secret armory planted at different locations, and several other things have been inscribed to be never forgotten.

"I am sorry for making you both worry even though we have met after so long," I said while looking at my only family members, who started tearing up a bit. I got up from the bed and stood in front of the two.

"Um...I know it's already late to say but I am back." I held their hands as I said with my heart warming up as they started crying like real this time. It was getting emotional for me too. Even though I knew they were weeping for not me but for Ijin, the feeling of someone worried for me, felt unsurprisingly good.

'It's good Ijin was wonderful in hiding his emotions. We stayed like that for some minutes before getting out of the airport lounge.

"This is our home and now it's yours too Ijin." Ajumma unlocked the door of a double-storey house that looked decent from the outside and amazing from the inside. I always lived in a small apartment like a shack so, of course, this house seemed like a villa for me.

"It's giving a peaceful vibe." I took in my trolley as Yu Dayun (sister), also followed me. She hasn't spoken since the time we met but knowing her personality I couldn't expect more.

"Come. Your room is on the first floor." Ajumma was very excited as she held my hand and brought me upstairs. Dayun was also following us silently with my trolley in her hand.

"It's heavy. Let me take it." My sudden advances made her flustered as she turned red in embarrassment and handed me the trolley wordlessly. Ajumma who was seeing us from the top stair chuckled a little.

We entered a huge room probably big as the shack in which I lived in my previous life. There was a double bed, a PC, and a simple wardrobe on the side. The walls were painted white which gave the room a serene atmosphere.

"Um....please do tell me what you need Ijin, I will add it to your room. Since I never knew what men generally need in their daily life, I thought to ask you." From what she said it was clear that she wasnt married nor was in any kind of other relationship, which genuinely surprised me. According to the plot she had two daughters but since the world was already fucked up, I won't be surprised if I find other characters from different fiction too here.

"I don't need anything but if I find something necessary I will let you know." The older woman nodded before leaving the room. Dayun also walked back downstairs leaving me alone in the room.

I placed my trolley beside the wardrobe and threw my clothes off before standing in front of the mirror.

Silver-grey hair combed over my forehead reaching up to my eyes looked complimenting with my face. Raven irises gave a serious and piercing impression. Standing at a height of 180 cm I could feel the strength residing in my body. The chiseled frame was built with defined abs and perfect cuts which I always craved.

In my last life, I had three operations around my bells and torso after which doctors told me that I would always carry some extra fat due to some medical reason. Even with that I always tried to slim down by practicing martial arts, yoga, running daily, and various stuff but in the end, the biology of my body made me surrender.

For others, it might not sound so great but a person who has lived his 20 years under layers of fat could only understand how excited and elated I was feeling right now.

It was fortunate that Ijin's emotions were synced with me or I would have been dancing all over now. I touched my body for quite some time, checking whether what I was seeing was real or not.

"Now my powers." I inhaled deeply when I suddenly realized I wasnt breathing since long. A sudden thud of my heart sent shivers all over my body as I supported myself while leaning on the mirror. It seemed I unconsciously was concentrating my breaths because of the sudden turn of events.

My veins were pulsating with strengths that I never felt before surging in every fiber of my body. My legs became light as feathers and my vision blurry as well sharpened like a hawk. I was sure I could break the wooden wardrobe with just a casual punch right now. Or maybe the concrete wall if I use proper technique and enough force.

It took me time but I got stabilized. Regulating my breath never seemed so breathtaking before. I was really surprised how those fanfic protagonists get accustomed to their powers so easily when I am feeling so heavy-headed while just handling my breath. It made me realize how tough training Tanjiro as well as other slayers have gone through to achieve this technique and use it as nothing.

Again I was lucky that this body belonged to an extraordinary mercenary who helped me to manage my newfound condition far better than I expected.

I sat down on the ground cross-legged with my eyes closed. Focused completely on the intake and exertion of air through my lungs. The sound of wind entering my nasal passage and surrounding my body was surprisingly reaching my senses like it was natural. The never ending cycle repeated second after second.

Leaving that aside, I focused on my eyes. Byakugan was a twisted yet powerful innate technique. It has the potential to see through not only obstacles but discover someone's weakness as well as their energy source. I wasnt aware of what Kaguya Ōtsutsuki could do in actuality as I never dwelled in the Naruto world, especially after Baruto started popping out, but I knew she was hella powerful.

Opening my eyes slowly I found the world turning white again but for some reason, it was changing color at a furious pace. It was like I was swinging between my human eyes and Byakugan. Soon veins on my forehead started poking out with tears of blood dripping down my cheeks.

I instantly closed my eyes and called it off. In that grassland, I didn't find it difficult but now it was nerve-wracking.

'It seemed he was influencing me back then...'

Sighing I wiped my eyes with a tissue after I got up. I thought of checking my physical compatibility with this body when a knock on the door interrupted in between.

"Umm...O-oppa. " A smile formed on my face as I heard Dayun's nervous voice behind the door as she stuttered in an awkward tone.

After wearing my clothes smoothly I opened the door.

"Dayun."

"Ah actually dinner is ready so can you come down?" I smiled with a nod.

"Just give me a minute." She also smiled looking at me before she left with a nod.

It was confusing how much cute and beautiful she was, I only felt familial love for her, even though I only met her first time in reality. And I couldn't help. She was just as she was described in the manhwa. The 'must protect' feeling rises every time I see her. In my previous life I didn't have any specific taste for a woman but looking at Dayun I could confidently say I wanted a sister like her.

'Wait isn't she getting bullied in school...' My eyes narrowed as I went inside my room while thinking about what she might have gone through. Since the world was different from what I knew, she might not get bullied in this world.

'But I have to check it myself...'

After a quick wash, I went down. The table wasnt big but perfect for three people to eat comfortably. The dinner which was served was looking delicious and in the first bite, I got my expectation fulfilled. It indeed was pleasant.

"It's really good. I don't know how long it's been since I have eaten homemade food." In the flow of emotions, I blurted out my true feelings which made both Dayun and ajumma stiff at their place.

"Ijin...I am sorry for what you have gone through." I immediately shook my head.

"It wasnt your fault to start with so don't apologize Ajumma. Whatever happened was none of our doing so let's forget about it." It seemed Dayun was concerned about it equally as she tried to say something but stayed silent in the end.

Ajumma was the one who broke the silence so it doesn't become awkward, I guess.

"By the way, you should praise your sister. After all, she is the one who prepared all this." Ajumma made Dayun go red all over again and taking the opportunity I also teased her a little.

"Seriously! I never thought Dayun could be such a great cook." She was glancing down in shame with her ear tinge red. It was really cute to see her every antic.

"....you meanie." What seemed like a mosquito buzz was Dayun's complaint which I heard clearly because of my heightened senses.

The air around the table was lively and very lovely and I felt my past remorse filling up.

After eating dinner I insisted on putting dishes away. Dayun also helped me which made the work done in less time. I was about to go back to my room as I didn't know what to do anymore when ajumma called for me.

"Ijin."

"Hmm?" I asked as I turned away from the stairs and looked at her.

"I know this is sudden and you might not be comfortable here but is it okay for you to start school next week. I mean if you need you can rest for a month, after all, you have re-" I interjected before she gets more worked up.

"It's okay ajumma. I will start school on Monday." She didn't speak just nodded with a smile. I left the dining space after saying good night to both ladies of the house.

After walking inside my room I lay down on the bed while staring aimlessly toward the ceiling.

'School huh...I guess it won't be as tough as my last life.'

A/N: I will take my time to build up the plot. I don't want to leave behind those who didn't have read the manhwa.

Mc won't go godly powerful in a blink and the mission he would get would also be at his current power level...
