Chapter 20: Chapter 18: Late for school

As Eichi heard Boreas’ stupid answer, he panicked. He wasn’t sure what to do. He hesitated to go into Hiroki’s room and tell him that they have overslept. He didn’t know if what Boreas had told him (that it was 8 p.m. when he threw the clock out of the window) was true.

‘I can’t just blindly trust that geezer, judging by his looks he could easily have Alzheimer’s. Heck, maybe he isn’t even able to read a digital watch.’

Thus, Eichi tried to roughly guess the time by the position of the sun. It was a desperate attempt, as Eichi had never done it before, and also now, the only thing he was certain of was, that the sun was shining, which at least indicated to him that it was later in the morning.

Eichi decided to play it safe and instead of Hiroki’s room, he will barge into his brother’s room and check the time there.

“Grandpa Boreas, you stay here… I have to go to my brother’s room and then later we will go to school. Don’t make a mess or else I’ll have to ask Hiroki if he can make you impotent.”, Eichi threatened him as he was halfway through the door.

Hearing that Boreas grasped. To him, that was an even bigger threat than the death penalty. Thus, he obediently responded with an “Ok…”

But what he didn’t know at the time was, that he could have just looked at the display next to his door, since there also was a feature that showed the exact time on this planet, but also on earth.

Anyways, after leaving his room, he knocked on Aiko’s door.

“Bang Bang Bang”

After loudly knocking on his brother’s door, there was no response. He tried again.

“Bang Bang Bang”

Still no response.

He slowly became impatient. Thus, he tried to forcefully open the door. As he put his hand on the door handle, he was ready to use his full power, trying to open the door. But that power wasn’t needed as he realized that his brother hadn’t locked the door.

‘Damn Aiko, you better start locking your doors. What if somebody enters during a rather uncomfortable and hard-to-explain moment.’

After opening the door, he slowly entered the room. Aiko slept on his back with his arms and legs spread so that he took up all the space in the bed. Eichi tried his best to remain silent as he just wanted to check the time. He came closer to his brother’s bed and started searching for a clock.

A little later he found a clock. Aiko had placed it on the pillow next to his head. 

‘Wow, he really is desperate to not miss the sound of the alarm. But if he is still asleep then it should be before 8 o’clock.’

Though he still leaned in to get a glimpse of the time, just to be sure. And in fact, that was the right decision as Aiko had forgotten to set the alarm and it was actually already 8.50 in the morning. As Eichi realized that he screamed.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAH”

This scream tore Aiko from his sleep as he hectically sat up. He looked toward the direction where the scream came from.

“Dude, what the hell are you screaming for? Let me sleep in peace.”, he screamed back at his brother.

Eichi approached his brother and slapped him in the face.

“There is no more time to sleep. Look at your clock, you idiot. Why would you put your clock next to your head but then forget to set the alarm?”, Eichi scolded him.

Now also Aiko panicked and got stressed. He quickly changed into his normal outfit and then together with his brother, they woke up Yasuo. Yasuo was the same as Aiko. He had a clock in his room, but he didn’t set an alarm. Though he didn’t forget to set it, instead he just thought that the others surely will wake him up at the right time.

Lastly, they wanted to knock at Hiroki’s door. As Aiko put his fist in front of the door and was about to knock, the door opened itself.

Behind the door stood Hiroki, who just glared at them.

“YOU MORONS, WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU SHOUT SO EARLY IN THE MORNING. SHUT UP, WE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!”, he screamed at them. 

The others weren’t intimidated by his scream, as they told him: “It’s already 8.50 a.m., didn’t you say you were gonna wake us up at 8 a.m.??”

“We need to go to school, and I am not even ready yet, I still need to eat, and so on, why didn’t you wake us up? I bet you know exactly what time it is right now.”, Yasuo added.

Hiroki, as annoyed as he was, tried to stay calm and gave them a calm response.

“Of course, I know what time it is. It’s 8.54 a.m. And secondly, I never said that I would wake you up. Heck, I never even said that I will also wake up at 8 a.m., I just suggested it to you guys. But if it’s already so late and you guys still need to get ready, I guess I’ll have to make you ready.”

His friends looked at him, not knowing what he meant. Then Hiroki snapped his fingers and suddenly, their empty stomachs were full, they were perfectly clean, their hair was done and even their teeth were brushed. They changed clothes and now they wore what seemed to be a school uniform. The school uniform looked like your average school uniform. The blazer was in a dark bluish color, while the chinos were grey. They also wore a white polo shirt with a red tie. The crest of the Ambrose kingdom was sewn onto the blazer, right above the heart.

“Better now?”, asked Hiroki rhetorically.

He left his room and behind him appeared Asami, who was also ready to go. Though her outfit was a bit different, she wore a grey skirt, a white polo shirt, and a dark blue sweater. She had to unbutton the first two of her buttons because else they would have popped, since her two knockers were just too big. Her long black hair was falling down to her waist.

As Hiroki’s friends saw her, they blushed. That new look made Gaia look even more appealing. 

But Eichi and Aiko shook these kinds of thoughts out of their head, as they didn’t want to be respectless toward Gaia and also Hiroki. Yasuo on the other hand couldn’t stop his thoughts.

‘Goddamn, looking good! If every girl in the school is just in the slightest as sexy as Gaia, then it will be a feast for the eyes.’

Gaia glared at Yasuo angrily, as if she just heard what he thought.

‘Oh shit, don’t tell me she can even hear my thoughts?’, Yasuo panicked.

Hiroki, who noticed everything, was disappointed by Yasuo, though he spoke up to net let the situation get out of hand.

“Now that everyone’s ready, let’s go to the academy.”

“Ok”

“Yes”

“Let’s go”

They all agreed, light surrounded them, and then they vanished.
