Chapter 7: Chapter 5: Royal greeting

Well, he already knew it due to his omnipotence, but nevertheless it was rather shocking seeing it being actually true.

'So 15 years have passed huh...'

He didn't check Callidus' relationship status because he thought it was too personal, so he just hoped that he had found a good wife, since Hiroki was exhausted of his constant complaining and whining.

Though he was also happy to see him and started remeniscing. Hiroki, clearly remembered Callidus' last birthday. It was the day on which they had killed the demon lord.

Callidus spotted Hiroki in that exact moment . He opened his eyes wide and dropped his jaw, as if he had just seen a ghost. Hiroki, who obviously noticed that put his index finger in front of his lips to indicate him to be quiet and pretend as if nothing had happened.

Due to Callidus big trust towards Hiroki, he knew that if Hiroki told him to be quiet, there had to be a good reason to do so, thus he obeyed, and his expressions changed back to normal.

Around two minutes later they arrived at the entrance door to the throne room, the main room of the palace. The double door was around three meters high and made of the most precious wood, it even had gold ornaments. The door was so heavy, it took two knights per side to open it.

The doors opened and at the end of the room were the king and the queen seated.

'They sure got old… they are in their 50-ies now'

The overall 32 summoned people, their ages varying from 11 to 65, walked deeper into the throne room and were astonished.

"Wow!"

"How beautiful"

These were some justified reactions, because the throne room was really precious. There were gold ornaments and paintings of the previous kings and queens on the walls, chandeliers were hanging from the ceiling and beginning from the doors until the feet of the throne there is a red carpet. Next to the King's throne there were two statues. The statue on the left depicted a knight in heavy armor holding his sword protectively in front of his body, on the right was a statue of a magician. He wore a robe and raised his wand in the air. The throne itself was also not to be overlooked, gold and red silk everywhere.

Anyways, back to Hiroki and the others.

Hiroki deliberately hid himself behind the mass, since he didn't want to get caught yet. It would have only created too much of a trouble.

Next to the king and the queen stood the first princess and another person.  Hiroki remembered this man; he was the son of a high noble family, his family was one of the biggest supporters of the royal family. Judging by his position it seemed that he had married the princess and is now her husband, which automatically made him the crown prince, aka the future king.

Hiroki felt  sorry for the first princess, because she didn't really look happy to be married to him, but that's often the case in nobility and their political marriages. He couldn't tell if this man had bad intentions, since he had turned of his omniscience, but he didn't care, because he wanted to be surprised by future developments.

Thus, he just stared at the stranger, thinking about all sorts of things.

King Wicus began to speak: "Dear Heros, we called you here today, because our Ambrose kingdom, no, this whole world needs your help! We are currently experiencing a crisis. There is a demon lord who wants to kill all humans and…"

All the summoned people listened to the king carefully, even Hiroki's friends. But Hiroki himself was rather annoyed by the King's speech.

"That old man sure got the talking skills", he thinks," he describes the situation as if the world is about to be destroyed… I mean, I killed that demon lord dude with 3 hits, how could such a so-called monster be considered a danger for all humanity? I don't get it…"

What Hiroki didn't think about at the time was, that when he killed the Demon Lord, he had already abtained god-like strenght, thus he was one of the strongest existences on the plane. But that's a story for another time.

King Wicus continued to explain the most important information about this world to the heros, just like he did when Hiroki arrived.

Hiroki used this chance to see what kind of demon lord is roaming the lands this time. He activated his omnipotent powers. With these, he was able to see everything and everyone. Thus, he began to search for the new demon lord. In his mind, he could see the whole world and all the things going on there. As he searched around, he located the castle of the old demon king.

There he also saw traces of people or beings living there. He took a closer look and what he saw made him put a little smile on his face.

'Seems like our life here is gonna be fun.'

What Hiroki saw, and also the source of his amusement, were the hordes of demons. All types of demons, be it goblins, ogres, devils, or others, they were all gathered around the castle and in the midst of repairing it.

Especially the ogres were hard working and many of them were seen carrying bricks around. For the new demon king to be able to unite the different races of demons really impressed Hiroki. He began searching for the demon king and was curious to find out more about him. He quickly found the new demon lord in the throne room. But once he saw the new demon lord he was confused and speechless.

'Excuse me, what the actual f***?'
