With glowing, golden-silverish eyes and crimson-colored blood trickling down his cheeks, Jason attracted some attention from the surrounding that saw his bright smile and heard him say.
"That's interesting!"
This made most powerhouses understand that the seemingly weak Manyr had a special trait that allowed his eyes to see what lay behind the glass box.
However, this was seemingly useless as the lid of the box was taken off the moment everything had been prepared.
Even under pain, Jason couldn't help but smile at his impatience as he simply continued to use the vast amount of energy within his Emperor Eyes.
Seeing everything down to the finest detail, he sensed that there were a total of 14 objects that seemed to be in a liquefied stage, yet held together to maintain the shape of an egg.
This was already intriguing, but Jason was not interested in the appearance of the main attraction, but more about the fact that he sensed the pulse of life within each of the objects!
Astonished about this, he took a closer look, which allowed him to realise that 13 of the unique-looking eggs had the basic elemental affinities, thus following the path of Maest.
Meanwhile, the 14th egg was more exotic because it was smaller in size, silver in color, which made it look more graceful than the others, and it was swept through by spirit force!
He was just about to come up with his own conclusion when he heard the female auctioneer begin to describe and explain the main attraction and what made it so unique.
"Esteemed guests, this year's main attraction is something the auction house never had before. It is so unique that we weren't even sure if it could be the truth, or just our mind playing tricks.
However, fortunately enough, it was not an illusion, and we are overjoyed to reveal a total of 13 Eggs of Grand Spirits that followed the elemental path of Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water!"
Saying this the auctioneer took a pause, giving everyone time to digest what happened, only to hear a murmur echoing through the gigantic hall as everyone began to gossip with the people beside them.
Even the VVIP lounge was slowly becoming louder with a glint of joy and excitement within the eyes of all who were present.
"I thought Spirits were extinct in the Julandra region? Didn't they build their own kingdom thousands of years ago? How is it possible that the auction house obtained 13 Eggs...of Grand Spirits at that?! Don't tell me, they invaded the Spirit kingdom… are they insane???"
Hearing an elderly voice, Jason couldn't help but turn around to his right side, where an extremely old man was standing with anger and shock in his eyes.
The Julandra region was the region that included the entire territory of hundreds of powerful beasts, the Aues, Devir, and Manyr races, and Jason knew that this region alone was larger than Argos, by several times.
As such, he couldn't really imagine just how vast the region, let alone Manyr was. Nevertheless, he had heard of the Spirit kingdom as it was one of the Legends written in the books he read inside the auxiliary tower's library.
It was unknown how many types of Spirits existed, because some were formless, while others took the form of human-like beings, or animals according to their preferences.
However, that was not the important point, let alone the reason for the old man who stood less than ten meters away from him to be fuming in rage.
What made Spirits unique was their ability to purify and enrich their surrounding mana by simply being around.
Jason was not sure how it worked, but he was sure that their innate trait was that of purification and nourishment of mana, which was the cultivation path they followed.
Other than that, he had heard that the water, which was transmuted or generated by Water Spirits had unique traits, making it useful for other beings' health, allowing them to release their tension.
At the same time, the water was said to be extremely good to concoct unique potions.
This was also why Jason was interested in Spirits because all basic elements had unique traits making them extremely beneficial to have around.
While Water spirits were already good, the fire of Fire spirits could purify a body, releasing their impurities in the process, while Earth spirits were good at nurturing the ground around them, enriching it with mana.
As for Wind Spirits, they could control the energy currents in the surrounding, and move them at their will. Through this, one could construct an extremely powerful and potent cultivation place, which made it easier for them to cultivate.
Unfortunately, all of that was reason enough for them to be hunted down, caught, and sealed in certain places to act as mere tools to nourish other beings that wanted to exploit the Spirits' unique abilities.
Owing to this, they formed an alliance of sorts and that is how the Spirit kingdom came into existence. It served as a retaliatory force where only Spirits and normal beasts were allowed to live.
Every remotely intelligent race that gathered in societies was immediately hunted down, without any questions.
Jason had initially thought that this was a sick joke, but seeing the old man's expression, followed by the expressions of the other people that turned solemn after their initial joy, he couldn't help but take it seriously.
'If these Eggs come from the Spirit kingdom, someone must have taken them away without permission. That won't start a sudden war, right?' He suddenly wondered, only to hear the female auctioneer explaining the situation.
"I believe, the esteemed guests have already realised the uniqueness of the Grand Spirit eggs. But nobody needs to worry about the place of their origin.
They don't stem from the Spirit kingdom, but from a unique place that ought to remain a secret.
Even the auction house doesn't know where the source of these treasures but the individual that brought all 14 Eggs formed a truth soul contract with us, stating that the eggs don't originate from the Spirit kingdom.
With that being said, there are no problems, and everyone is allowed to bid freely, without restraint or the need to fear being attacked by the Spirit kingdom.
If anyone ever wanted to create a place to purify their body, improve their cultivation speed, or release the tension accumulated within their bodies after several days of arduous practice, the Grand Spirits in front of you are the best way to make all of this possible!"
With the given explanation, the powerhouses inside the VVIP lounge took a collective breath of relief and a faint smile emerged on everyone's face, only to be replaced by their greed as they subconsciously began devising tricks to claim the eggs for themselves.
This made Jason uncomfortable, and even the thought of trying to bid for a single Egg made him nervous.
He was most interested in the silver liquid Spirit egg because it was evidently a Mutation that made it follow the path of Spiral instead of Maest.
Never having heard something like this of a spirit before, Jason couldn't help but feel that he should try bidding for the Spiral Spirit egg.
Unfortunately, there were too many powerhouses eying the Grand Spirit Eggs, making him uncomfortable as he could already perceive the tension between the parties that were eager to procure a Spirit egg, even if it would mean that they had to offend each other.
'This won't end in a carnage, right?'
