She was a passionate girl who didn’t know how to give up and always put her everything into love. With the addition of her father being Russian mafia, she didn’t seem to fear anything either.
She was invincible.
Or in other words, she had no limits.
“Rather, why don’t you ask her father to take some measures?”
Bliss laughed as if he was dumbfounded by Jin’s suggestion to consult her parents just because the other party was still a minor.
“Mafia and especially Mihael Nevzlin are very much the family-first type of people. If it goes to far and there’s any gossip about his kid or wife going around, he won’t ask any questions and just shoot my through the head first. Don’t tell me you want to my brain in pieces?”
Bliss spoke in a low voice, right into his ear, his tone half serious, half joking. At those words, Jin looked up at him at with sincerity and answered,
“Well, I do kind of want to see that…”
“What?”
“I’m just saying, I am rather curious about what goes on inside your head. So, why did you bring me here? You’re not telling me to seduce Elena are you?”
As his personal secretary and closest friend, though he had attended some smaller events and tea parties with Bliss to deal with some of the socialising, it was the first time he had come to such a big even like this together.
So when he had first talked about Elena and him to come to the party together, Jin thought he must have been going truly crazy – but when he thought about it again carefully, he couldn’t help but think Bliss might be up to something – and that plan was related to Elena so that was the only answer he could come up with.
When Jin looked at Bliss with wary eyes, Bliss smiled happily and hugged Jin’s shoulder. He then leaned down, and in a low voice, whispered in Jin’s ear,
“It’s not that I didn’t think about that but… although its a good idea, your skills fall a little short of getting there – so pass.”
At those words, Jin frowned and slapped Bliss’s hand off his shoulder.
“Where’s Mihael Nevzlin? I should have a chat with him about his daughter.”
Bliss smiled and pulled Jin back by his arm at his threat that he would reveal everything.
“Hey, don’t do something like that – you’ll die and then I’m going to die as well,”
“So why did you bring me…”
“Oh, Jake!”
Jin was about to ask what he was up to again, but Bliss quickly turned to the side while still pulling Jin’s arm.
Jin turned his gaze towards the direction he was looking at and blurted out the words out quietly without even realising it,

“Grandpa Kentucky…” (He means the KFC Colonel)
As Jin stared blankly at the appearance of the old man with nice white hair, Bliss quickly poked his side.
“Jake, you’re looking healthy. Long time now see,”
“You’re still the same. But what’s this? You coming to a party with a man? Now that’s a big deal.”
At Grandpa Kentucky’s words, Jin smiled bitterly.
It was already an old story from their time in college, but Bliss Auckland’s misandry was still a legendary story in society.
Thanks to this, all the Auckland affiliated businesses had been the subject of protests from the Human Rights Association with enthusiastic support from Christians – but in fact, Bliss had no objection to homosexuality and half of the people close to him were either homosexual or bisexual. Nevertheless, he seemed to hate all men approaching his vicinity.
And the biggest victim of his one-meter access ban to men, was himself.
“Oh, this is my secretary. Say hi Jin, this is Jake, the Chairman of Sutherland,”
As soon as he heard the name, Jin hurriedly reached out his right hand for a handshake.
“It’s an honour to meet you. I’m Jin Cayman. My real name is Youngjin, but my friends just call me Jin,”
“Oh, you’re the fellow with the elegant handwriting. I wanted to say thank you for sending me me those wonderful gifts and cards for my family and I’s anniversaries and birthdays,”
At that moment, Jin stopped breathing for a moment. With every single gift, the card that had happened accompanied them was signed ‘Bliss Auckland’ – but this grandpa Kentucky seemed to have been keenly aware of of the truth.
Still holding his hand in this situation, Jin became unsure of what to say next, but Bliss smiled brightly and flung an arm around Jin’s shoulder.
“Right, his handwriting to really elegant. Asian people, especially Koreans have really elegant and near handwriting – I’m glad you liked them.”
Jin really wanted to pat Bliss on the back for his sense.
“Ah, you’re Korean?”
“Yes,”
In fact, Bliss, who without making any excuses had pretty much confirmed ‘this guy is in charge of gifts’ with a shameless face, had Jin clicking his tongue.
Well, time was money and everyone in the world knew that a stock market giant, who boasted a huge consultation fee of $3000 per hour couldn’t send handwritten cards on every single clients anniversaries – but Jin still thought it wasn’t right to admit it so openly.
Well, Jim smiled and readjusted himself to the atmosphere thinking that there probably wouldn’t be anyone other than this grandpa who would point something like that out in the first place.
