"You stand here with an axe to my throat and speak of an offer?" The Free folk leader let out a chuckle, "then why does it sound like you come with demands".
"Demands? I guess you could call it that. From the state of your people I take it you have experienced how harsh Skagossi winters can be." The leader remained silent at those words, he knew how harsh this whole ordeal would be but he truly believed he would be able to join up with the free folk tribes in Skagos but he had underestimated just how tough this journey was.
"I come for a tribe with enough men to outnumber you ten to one, but from what happened here I'm sure you have come to the realization that we need to do no such thing to kill all of you."
"Stopping speaking in circles and say what you want" the woman no girl he had taken interest in earlier shouted at him. Arthor had to admit after his fist clash against these free folk he began to look down on them, their strength was just not comparable to the Skagosi.
That wasn't to say Free folk were weak oh no, his mother was free folk as well albeit born and bred on Skagos she had monstrous strength as well but these guys were just too weak, something Arthor believed their lack of food to be the problem.
But her she was different, she didn't cower when faced with might that completely outclassed her no she simply kept fighting and gave it her all, even now she glared at him with those piercing grey eyes of hers.
"Very well, I am Arthor son of Harwood and now I give you a choice join me or perish." Arthor spoke as his siblings and Meha readied their weapons, their actions told all those present that they meant it, that if they made the wrong choice today would be their last day.
"HOW DARE-" "Frenya enough!" the leader who still had Arthor's axe to his throat cut Frenya off. Although his was forced to kneel his presence amongst the Free folk was not diminished, "Free folk do not kneel, we didn't kneel to any of the lords beyond the wall or on Skagos. What makes you think we will kneel to you?"
"I am no lord, I am just a boy, but I know that if things continue the way they are now none of you will survive this winter. Even if I didn't do this you would meet another group who would have been more merciless than I am. At least I am offering you a choice so decide your pride or your life."
The leader remained silent staring at his people who all had varying degrees of injury, it was easy for him to tell this people had held back and this frightened him even more. If this was the result of them holding back he didn't want to see what would happen when they decide to be serious, his people had already suffered enough under him... at least he wasn't a lord.
*sigh* "I Sigorn vow on this day to give to you my eternal loyalty, I swear this by the old gods." with a defeated sigh Sigorn swore his loyalty to Arthor, Frenya who had observed all this bit her bottom lip as her fingers dug into her palm.

"Alright help treat the wounded," Arthor pulled away his axe placing it aside after the oath and gave the order for them to treat the wounded, the free folk hesitated for a minute before following his order. Arthor saw this before proceeding to move towards Frenya and offering her a hand to help to her feet, but she refused spitting at his feet and walking away to go help her people.
Arthor simply stood in place watching her leave before turning to join his siblings, Meha who was with them was still reeling from the battle they had just had. They had just conquered a clan by themselves, alright a clan might be a stretch but they still managed to conquer an entire group by themselves.
She observed Arthor who calmly observed the free folk treating each others wounds, Ronell soon walked up to him with his eyes all white.
Her finding out he could move normally whilst warging was a shock she had yet to fully recover from.
"How about the others?" Arthor asked Ronell, "It seems there will be a battle between the two, the stronger of the two seems to have the same idea as you"
"By your estimates how long till they march on the weaker clan?" Arthor asked after giving the situation some thought "I'd say a week" Ronell responded after some thought. "A week huh" with those words Arthor looked to the Free folk who were treating their wounded some had some deep wounds, even though he had specifically told his people to watch it.
Arthor moved his gaze and locked eyes with Lothor who was quick to turn away whistling a tune, *sigh* Arthor let out a sigh 'I guess I should grateful he didn't kill them'. The thought, brought him back to what he ad realized in his earlier battle, the free folk were weak.
He had fought a lot of battles by now and due to the difference in age he was always in edge. It might have looked like he dominated most of his fights to the others but only he knew that he put in a hundred percent in each battle and that the slightest error would have led to his death.
But in this battle it felt different, even when he went up against their adults he felt as though he could overpower them easily. It might be due to their current state but either way, Arthor was now certain that Skagossi definitely triumphed normal men when it came to strength.
"Tell the others to prepare, they have at most three days. Oh and keep an eye on the weaker clans perimeter, I would be damned to believe that they aren't being monitored."
