Mo Liuxi was stunned. He didn’t understand why Yan Su asked that question.
She asked the question, meaning that she cared about it. Mo Liuxi believed that he should answer it frankly.
“I admit that I was surprised when I tasted her congee for the first time. I wasn’t expecting it to be so tasty. I was touched at that moment, and I thought about learning more about her. However, she lied to me that she made the congee alone. I found out the truth later on. Also, she brought you trouble. She didn’t leave a good impression. I felt that she was too petty and that she lies a lot. It turned out that I was right.”
Yan Su didn’t like that answer. “So, if I didn’t tell you the truth on accident, you might have gotten together with her already, right? After all, I’ve taught her how to make the congee you like.”
Mo Liuxi glanced at her questioningly and said, “Why do you think that way? Would I be with her only because I like the congee she made? I needed to know about her before that. The more time I spent with her, the clearer her true face became. I didn’t like her. Before, she always brought me lunch in boxes and told me that she made it herself. But the truth was, she didn’t make it, her mother did. I never ate it.”
Yan Su frowned. She didn’t know that. “No wonder you dislike her so much.”
“I really don’t like her,” Mo Liuxi nodded and said. “You see, after I learned that it was you who made the congee, I didn’t pursue you immediately. I only came here for food. I fell in love with you while having breakfast and midnight snacks with you. I slowly grew fond of you.”
He dragged her into his arms and tittered in her ear, “Or, probably earlier, in the elevator.”
Recalling that, Yan Su felt utterly embarrassed. “Stop lying. That was a pure physical reaction.”
“That was not.” Mo Liuxi shook his head. “Am I an animal? It’s not like I’ve never been in a crowded elevator or bus or subway before. But what happened that day was a first. I had feelings for you. I never liked anyone else in that way, so I didn’t realize it back then. I guess you’ve been special to me ever since we met.”
He held Yan Su in his arms.

Thinking about all that had happened before and hearing his explanation, she couldn’t help but let her heart leap.
Perhaps, she shouldn’t care so much about what happened before, as she had already decided to be with him.
After all, the future was more important than the past.
“Su, are you jealous?” Abruptly, Mo Liuxi’s voice was heard from above her head.
Yan Su paused briefly, dropped her head, pushed him away and then headed toward the kitchen. Her cheeks reddened.
Mo Liuxi felt as if a fire was burning in his chest. He made a few steps upward and suddenly carried her in his arms.
“Liuxi, what are you doing?” Yan Su gave a start, then raised her head to find his pretty face filled with excitement and happiness.
“Su, you are jealous because of me. I used to be the one who’s always jealous for you.” Mo Liuxi put her on the couch, laid on her, held her face with both hands, looked at her and said, “You love me.” His eyes contained the pure joy that only children would have.
Yan Su was stunned for a few seconds, then quickly turned her red face away.
Hear heart was thumping. Did she love him?
If she didn’t love him, why would she feel so uncomfortable because of An Ning? Why did she start to haggle over every little thing?
