Then she took Ava to the kitchen. When Julia left with Ava, Kevin stood up and took everyone to the second floor while saying, "Well, as you can see. She is Julia, a paranoid and my mother in law. Her whole house is a small fortress like existence. She also likes to store a lot of foods, firearms and ammunition in the basement. There are two basement levels and they are quite big. We can live here and wait for the rescue. Even if we have to wait for a whole year, I can confidently say that we would not have any problem. We can also transform the house into a fortress like existence."

I fulfilled her wish and we moved to here. We decided to settle down in this small town for the rest of our life. Misfortune came suddenly, she died in a car accident when Ava was three years old."

After recounting the old memories which he enjoyed with his late wife, Kevin placed the backpacks on an empty shelf as they reached into the first floor of underground basement. Peter and Tina walked around and looked at the neatly stored things on strongly built shelves.

They can find almost everything here. The two felt that as if they got into two dollars store. The basement is very large and the walls are strongly reinforced with thick concrete. Various canned foods are occupying the large parts of shelves.

The rest are all boxes of various bullets. Kevin opened a canned beer and took small sips while leaning against the wall to wait for the two curious people.

Soon, the two walked back to the original place with incredible face. They were really surprised, whether about the size of the basement or the amount of various materials here.

Kevin chuckled and proudly told, "How about it? Not bad at all, right? I helped a lot back then when she filled this place with various things. Although she was known as a paranoid about the end of world and war, I've to admit it all became useful now."

Without waiting for the replies, Kevin asked, "Do you also drink?"
