Julia suddenly said, "This morning, I was just having a nice conversation with my friends on the front lawn of old Pete. We were shocked to see several disgusting little red monsters running towards us. It was a total chaos. Everyone was yelling and some were already running back towards Pete's house."

"Of course, how could those disgusting creatures get its way to us. Especially while I was there. So, I picked up my Moss and gave them nice treats."

When she saw confused faces of Tina and Peter, she remembered they got no clue about Moss. So she simply pointed at the double-barrel shotgun at the corner as explanation.

"Those old guys were still giving excuses. Fortunately, they got me, a paranoid in their squad."

Kevin was surprised, "Wait, wait, you said you were with your gang in the morning. And you saved them."

Julia was disgusted with Kevin's attitude, "Lad, were you doubting me? Although I am already old, I can still play with Gatling. Or are you actually thinking that I am no match of those little skinny bastards of one meter high? When i was young at your age, i was hunting down wild boars and bisons."

Kevin quickly shook his head and asked, "Why are they not here? Didn't everyone admit your place would be the safest place in the village if anything ever happened?"

Julia simply scolded him back, "Lad, are you itchy? Why would I know their mind? May be they are already dead or may be they are now hiding in their own basements timidly. As for not coming to my house to take shelter, do you think old lady is rare? It is even better for me if no one is coming. If you're not the father of my sweetheart, i would not have even took you in. Bla Bla Bla."

Kevin was speechless as he listened to Julia. Even after many years of relationship, he still almost couldn't stand against this old lady. Obviously, she has a cake heart and she has been always speaking bad.

At that time, the bell ranged again. Although nobody knew what it was meant to be, they felt that this might not be without any meaning. Unfortunately, they didn't know anything about it. Many monsters were starting to gather towards the Church in the center of the town after the bell rang. They were carrying dead bodies, which were not only human corpses but also the corpses of inferno wolves and dark minions. Many of them were having bloated stomachs.

"It's me, Brian. Open the door. We get no time. Open the door fast Julia."

Glenn came to the kitchen and informed them that two cars with a group of people just parked in the backyard. When the six people arrived at the corridor, they heard the suppressed sound coming from the outside. The man at the outside was still speaking to them in a low voice to prevent accidentally attracting the monsters.

Julia asked out aloud while holding Ava and standing behind the three people, "Brian, is that you?"
