Chapter 32: Chapter 32

Strange dark red wolves were walking around and occasionally eating the corpses of dead people. Most of the time, they would bite and carry them towards the church in the middle of the town.

Humanoid creatures of two meters high were also attacking several last resistance forces of survivors together with those dark red wolves. They were savage, ugly and they were able to use strange spells. Fortunately, the effective range was small and their means were ineffective on modern humans with firearms.

In a quiet north-east corner of the town, there were four cars parked on the street and ten young men with guns. Several big wolves in dark red furs were walking around nearby.

Strangely enough there was no conflict among the two different parties unlike in other places.

Four young men were leaning against the car lazily while smoking and talking.

There were also several men standing on the sidewalk while joking and laughing.

"How are you feeling? Have you come out of the death of your family?"

"It shouldn't have happened Mike. I bet this would be my worst nightmare and it would accompany me all the rest of my life."

"Shuh. Don't talk things like that. Don't do anything stupid. As we all saw, Kyle has changed. And we are powerless."

"I know. I know Mike. I know I am a coward. I didn't even dare to talk back like Hervin. At least, he went down earlier to underworld before his family. However, I am still living but I have nothing."

"We are all the same. Now, we can only pray Kyle would not kill us. As for the superpower he mentioned, it is just a hope."

The two friends smoked and spoke out their thoughts. The two beside them fell into silence. It would be a lie if they didn't feel bad about their family, their friends, relatives and neighbors. But did they have any other choice? The one brave guy went down to accompany his family. May be it was worse than that. Because they were not sure whether Kyle could do anything to the soul. If that was so, then Hervin might not even go to Underworld or Heaven but to the inside of Kyle's stomach.

No, it might not be going down, it should be eaten by Kyle. After thinking about that scene back then, chills went down the spines of four people. It was a pity. They wanted to live and chose to watch all the miseries happened. As for their family and familiar people, these people sacrificed themselves for them to live. But one thing they surely know is powerful strength of Kyle. Kyle, he is crazy. He has already become a mad man who would do anything for mysterious power.

Although they would have to admit that the power Kyle which got was really attractive to them, they would have chosen their family if it was possible.

But there was no if in reality so it became a tragedy. It was an eternal misery which would accompany them till they faced death at one day.

Moreover, they didn't dare to attack Kyle because they saw bullets caused no damage to Kyle.
