Tina drank her coffee and she said with a kick on the leg of Pedro, "Of course, we are going to patrol together. What are you waiting for. Let's go."

Luke suddenly teased in a loud voice, "Ohh, our two love birds are gonna have their time for real this time.", "Do you also need us to patrol with you guys?"

Tina gave middle finger and left in the laughter of other members. Pedro also hurriedly followed Tina and went to the underground garage. Then, the two got into their police car and went out in a swish.

In the sheriff office at the fifth floor, Miguel was reading a book called Missing Continents. It is one of his favorite books and it was written by Lewis Ravenclaw. He is a mysterious author and many of his works were written in different ancient times. His oldest book was believed to be written in 4000 BC and the newest book was written in 1940 during the WW2. However, normal modern people only found eight books in circulation including oldest and newest two books. And secret societies and agencies own about fifty books in total. Many weird knowledge and various strange stories were recorded in his books. His identity has become a question. So, many of his readers believe that Lewis Ravenclaw might be a God or a mysterious figure who has defeated death. Of course, there are also many people who refused to believe it. These people are saying that some people intentionally used the same name in order to create a mysterious character. Nevertheless, the strange knowledge in his books are unquestionable and many were proven to be true.

Miguel also believes that Lewis may be a God who loves to walk on earth because he has met some mysterious cases in his life. Another reason is he saw this name in the catalog of Gods at the origin church. So, he started to search for Lewis's books after touching the mysterious side of the world for the first time. Currently he owns five copied books after spending nearly twenty years in searching books. It was quite difficult to get a hand on these books. Among them, Missing Continents is his favorite one. It is about two brilliant civilizations.

After reading dozens of pages, old Miguel sighed and closed the book which he can almost read out the contents inside at ease. It is a pity. Even though he had placed ten grands for a copy at a website for almost two years, no one has contacted him yet. When he put the book back into the drawer, he saw the family photo in it. He couldn't help but wondered about the life of his little bastard Daniel during these years. But considering the guarantee of his old friend Billy, he felt that his son might not be in danger. Suddenly, he felt that he was already too old. He decided to go to Billy to have a good chat and to ask the news of his son by the way. So, Miguel also left the station too as they are very idle. The whole city is quite peaceful. And it causes the police officers to have only one daily quest which is to patrol the city and nearby villages and highway roads under their law enforcement jurisdiction.

As for a sudden accident? This is not happening several times a year as every citizen of San Christobal respects the laws. This is quite unusual as many other cities in United States are not peaceful like San Christobal. For example, the biggest metropolitan city New York has at least two accidents and a crime daily. And they have the most powerful law enforcement agencies and well equipped police officers. However, many places in the federation are quite messy and respective government officials and officers are also corrupted.
