Soon, their car reached the intersection of the main highway road and the road leading to Cerriro town. Instead of continue driving in a hurry, Peter first stopped the car at the roadside and got out of the car quickly. He then opened the trunk to take the stored heavy weapons inside.

Peter opened one of the two briefcases at the top.

The first briefcase has two m17 rifles inside. He put magazines and gave one to Tina.

Tina said while grabbing it, "Are we going to wait for a while?"

Peter replied while pulling the bolt handle, "Let's wait for a while. Just to be safer."

He placed another briefcase full of magazines and several explosive grenades on the ground to take out the vests in the corner of the trunk. After taking out a plastic bag containing two police vests, he handed it over to Tina. After wearing the vests, Peter took out extra magazines and grenades from the previous briefcase. They put the emptied briefcases back into the trunk and closed the trunk before sitting on the trunk cover to wait for their companions.

A few minutes later, six police cars arrived. Two of them are patrol units who came in a hurry while another four are Ronald and others. They stopped when they saw Peter and Tina at the intersection.

Just when they opened the car windows and wanted to ask, Peter said, "You guys better prepare your weapons. Combat readiness."

Looking at four guys without even police vests, Peter roared, "Ya, you four stupid and cute, I am talking about you. Why don't you move your ass and arm yourselves fast? I don't have time to wait. Do it quickly."

Another three minutes were wasted like that. During that, another two patrol units arrived. But Peter didn't want to wait anymore so he told them to follow tightly before getting back into the car. After driving for another five minutes in a very fast speed while talking with the radio to relax their mind, they finally arrived at their target destination.

When they arrived, they saw all houses in good conditions and clean and peaceful streets. Although they didn't want to accept, the scenes are clearly telling them that nothing happened here. They didn't even find out any blood stained place on the road nor any dead body. But they didn't dare to relax because they also found no living human.

Peter checked left and right carefully while driving along the road towards the Town's center.

"The situation isn't right. Don't you think that it is too quiet, Tina?"

Then, he said on the radio, "Someone, make contact with the nest. We might need more backups."

But he didn't hear any good reply. Everyone was telling him that their car radio was out of contact with the station channel. However, their body radios were still working. Tina also tried to contact the police station through police radio in the car but it failed to get through. So, Peter had to accept the fact.

She said while taking out her phone, "The car radio isn't working. Wait a moment, I'm calling with my phone."
