Chapter 111 - Boyfriend

Edited by Divetus

Xiang Huaizhi’s original intention was to shut down the topic; after all, when his words were said like that, ordinary people wouldn’t continue prying.

Gao Zixiang: So, we can really ask?

Lu Wenhao: Can we ask anything?

Lu Ge: I’ll go first. How long have you two been secretly dating?

Lu Wenhao: How far have you guys progressed? I’m just curious.

Gao Zixiang: The link I shared with Huanhuan… Have you guys used it?

Lu Ge: You guys really haven’t done anything in the dorms?

Lu Wenhao: I remember that you two always used to head back together. Wait, it seems like Huanhuan’s bed in his apartment is pretty big lol.

Fuck.

With a burning face, Jing Huan cursed at that filthy sentence. He opened the keyboard and typed for a long time, but ultimately didn’t send out a single sentence.

He knew these two people too well. It was tolerable when you didn’t pay any attention to them, but once you did, you’d be annoyed to death if you didn’t give them an explanation.

He lowered his mouth into his coat and waited to see what Xiang Huaizhi would say, but suddenly, the takeout delivery person called.

After taking the midnight snacks from the delivery person, he jogged back to the elevator, checked his cellphone, and saw that there was no signal.

Jing Huan arrived at his floor and had just walked out of the elevator when he saw Xiang Huaizhi’s apartment door open. The boy casually stood at the door wearing a coat and was looking down at his cellphone; the light in the room gave him a warm feeling.

Jing Huan was surprised. “Why are you standing there?”

“I thought that you might’ve gotten lost seeing that you were gone for so long.” After seeing him, Xiang Huaizhi put down his cellphone. “I was getting ready to go down to find you.”

“Lost…” Jing Huan laughed after hearing that. “Is your boyfriend so unreliable?”

The midnight snack was some barbecue. Xiang Huaizhi took the bag, cleaned up the random things on the living room’s tea table and put down the takeout boxes one by one..

Jing Huan sat next to him, secretly took a quick glance at him, and then stealthily took out his cellphone to read the group chat.

Xiang: Not long ago, just started dating.

Xiang: Did you guys just watch the livestream?

Lu Ge: Yes, everyone on our team saw it. They didn’t even go to do instances. It was a good thing that your Mei was travelling right now, otherwise you’d be overwhelmed.

Lu Wenhao: I saw it too. I couldn’t even concentrate on playing in the arena and gave away my points all night. [fierce man tears.JPG]

Xiang: Did you send me gifts?

Lu Wenhao: ?

Lu Ge: ?

Gao Zixiang: ?

Xiang: All of the viewers that I answered questions for gave me presents. You guys aren’t even following me, what qualifications do you have to ask questions?

Lu Ge: Fuck, didn’t you promise to let us ask?!

Xiang: I have gone back on my word.

Lu Wenhao: I’ll send you presents right now! [May you be happy and prosperous! Big Fortune and Great Profit! ]

Xiang: It’s late, not doing business now.

Xiang: Not chatting anymore, have things to do.

Xiang Huaizhi didn’t say anything after that, and it was only the three people talking to him. Jing Huan became impatient after reading a few lines of that and threw his cellphone onto the sofa.

After eating and drinking their fill, Jing Huan suddenly remembered something. Before going to bed, he carried his backpack into the bedroom.

Xiang Huaizhi was lying in bed with Jing Huan’s laptop, looking at the apparel that the GMs had just sent over.

“What’s the matter?” Xiang Huaizhi asked.

Jing Huan opened his backpack and rummaged through it for a while. “There’s still a gift that hasn’t been given to you yet.”

Xiang Huaizhi raised his eyebrows. “So many gifts?”

Jing Huan’s birthday gift to him had been a wallet. On the day that Xiang Huaizhi had received it, he had put the wallet he had been using in the cupboard.

“It doesn’t quite count as a gift&#k2026; I went shopping with my mom that day and bought you socks.” Jing Huan had bought several pairs and showed them to him.

They were very common men’s socks, and besides the brand’s logo, it didn’t have a design.

But Jing Huan still asked, “Like it?”

Xiang Huaizhi looked at the socks in his hands and chuckled, “En.”

Jing Huan was satisfied. “That’s good. I bought two pairs of each type, one for each of us… It’s like matching couple apparel.”

Xiang Huaizhi’s smile froze.

The term “couple apparel” was somewhat unfamiliar to him, but he unexpectedly liked it.

Jing Huan said, “I’ll put the socks in the closet.”

“No need,” Xiang Huaizhi grabbed his wrist. “Put it on the table, I’ll bring them with me the day after tomorrow. I don’t live here often.”

Jing Huan put the socks on the table, got into bed, laid down for a while, and then laughed.

Xiang Huaizhi had just fed Xiao Xiangjing. When he heard the laugh, he looked down at Jing Huan and asked, “What are you laughing about?”

Jing Huan shook his head. “Nothing.”

After half a minute, Jing Huan couldn’t help himself and looked up to ask, “Then, does this count as hiding me in a golden house?”

Xiang Huaizhi was slightly startled. He put both accounts in a team and dragged them both to Fairyland to AFK.

“Counts.” Xiang Huaizhi replied.

Jing Huan’s smile widened, and he shifted his posture to browse through microblogs..

After scrolling through two popular microblogs, Jing Huan felt bored. He shifted around under the blanket and couldn’t help raising his head. “Ge?”

Xiang Huaizhi answered with an “en” in a low voice.

“Not sleeping yet?” Jing Huan asked.

Xiang Huaizhi moved his mouse. “Soon. Lu Wenhao and them have sent you some in-game gifts, should I get them for you?”

Jing Huan: “…”

When Xiang Huaizhi moved his mouse, his arm lightly brushed against Jing Huan’s cheek from time to time. After touching him several times, he simply just stuck his arm against his cheek.

Jing Huan absentmindedly stared at the computer screen; in fact, he wasn’t reading the screen’s contents at all.

He remembered that day on the sofa, when Xiang Huaizhi’s arms were snug against his thighs, and how boiling hot it had been.

He was in his early twenties; he had just been half ravaged. A few pictures flashed through Jing Huan’s mind, and his mouth inexplicably went dry..

“Ge…” he called out again.

Xiang Huaizhi’s tone was the same as before. “En?”

Jing Huan wanted to say that he could only be hidden in this place for three days.

He had once read a post where the original poster had arranged a face-to-face meeting with their in-game husband and had been full of anticipation for half a month, but then after meeting for a week… More than 70 beast materials were farmed.

At first he thought it was just a joke.

He absolutely didn’t expect that his own three day face-to-face meeting would result in his arena score being projected to shoot up beyond 3000 points.

Jing Huan was silent but then said, “Nothing, you continue farming ba. I’ll go to sleep first.”

He looked away and laid down for a few moments.

The moment he closed his eyes, he heard the sound of the computer closing, and then the bedroom lights went out.

Jing Huan was stupefied, and as soon as he opened his eyes, he was being embraced by Xiang Huaizhi.

Xiang Huaizhi’s eyes were usually black, but in the darkness, they shone.

“Wait a bit before sleeping,” Xiang Huaizhi said.

Jing Huan’s heart was beating fast. “Oh, then what do you want to do?”

Xiang Huaizhi lowered his head. “Kiss for a while.”

The bed in the bedroom was wider and more comfortable than the sofa, and Jing Huan didn’t have to worry about whether or not he would fall off. Their kiss lasted for a long time, and during a short break, Jing Huan went and bit Xiang Huaizhi on the chin.

Originally, he had been worried that he would seem too impatient if he mentioned these kinds of things to Xiang Huaizhi… But, after being this intimate for a while, these worries had been forgotten in some unknown corner of his mind.

He left a shallow bite mark on Xiang Huaizhi’s chin, cleared his throat, and then asked in a solemn and hoarse voice, “Ge… Do you want to compare sizes?”

The two of them shamelessly spent the next few days together. On the day when he had to go home, Jing Huan laid on the bed and was unwilling to get up.

He laid on his back and leaned against Xiang Huaizhi’s shoulder while playing with his cellphone.

Ever since the new group chat with Lu Hang and Xiang Huaizhi had been created, their original dorm group chat didn’t have anyone talking in it. All of them had been chatting in the new group.

Jing Huan was idle and bored, and didn’t look at what they were talking about before. He just sent an emoticon to join in.

Lu Wenhao: ?

Lu Wenhao: It’s 11:30 a.m. and you just woke up la?

Xiao Jing ya: En.

Lu Wenhao: It seems that you slept quite late last night. It’s not good for young people to stay up so late.

Gao Zixiang: Pay attention to your health.

Lu Ge: Huanhuan come out, Ge will take you out to recuperate.

Why was this group of people so weird.

The crucial thing was though, once they mentioned it, Jing Huan really did feel like his waist was a little sore.

He glanced at Xiang Huaizhi, and the other boy was looking at the WeChat group with lowered eyes. His expression was as usual, and he didn’t look tired at all.

“…” Jing Huan clenched his teeth and stewed himself a pot of very nourishing soup in his heart.

I’m fine!

I’m all right!

I can still battle for another hundred years!!!

The phone “dinged”.

Mom: Your dad and I will get home in the evening. We’ll pick you up and go to the restaurant together.

Jing Huan wilted even more.

The two got up to pack their luggage, and then Xiang Huaizhi took him out to eat.

It was shameful to say that this was their first time going outside in the last few days, aside from going out to pick up takeout.

Xiang Huaizhi could obviously feel that Jing Huan’s mood was quite low.

The boy’s eyes were downcast, and he cut his beef very slowly.

Xiang Huaizhi put down his knife and fork and switched his plate with already cut meat with Jing Huan’s plate. “What time will auntie and uncle be back?”

Jing Huan was surprised. “Don’t know, maybe six or seven?”

Xiang Huaizhi replied with an “okay”.

After they finished dining, Jing Huan picked up his cellphone and wanted to call a cab. Suddenly, the backpack behind him was picked up.

Xiang Huaizhi moved to carry his bag. “Let’s go.”

Jing Huan said, “I haven’t gotten a cab yet.”

“I’ll drive you.”

Jing Huan’s eyes brightened, but he quickly dropped his smile. “Forget it. It takes three or four hours to drive there and back, very tiring.”

“That’s nothing.” Xiang Huaizhi said, “I’d be happy to drive my boyfriend back.”

Jing Huan’s bad mood was mostly obliterated by these words.

He told Xiang Huaizhi to stop the car at an intersection about a hundred meters from his house, and then dawdled in the car for nearly half an hour before getting out.

This year, the Spring Festival was very early. They all just had a holiday not too long ago, and now, every household had braved the heavy snow to put up Spring Festival banners.

Jing Huan had just returned from buying New Year’s items with his parents. He took off his shoes and immediately rushed into his room.

His parents were discussing gifts in the living room. As soon as Jing Huan entered his room, he turned on his computer and logged onto WeChat.

Half a minute later, he solemnly opened the document shared in the class group chat.

Xiao Jing ya: Ahhhhh Gege!

Xiang: En?

Xiao Jing ya: I passed la! I passed!!

Xiao Jing ya: I didn’t fail. T▽T

Xiang: Neither did I.

Xiang: Can’t be your classmate now.

Xiao Jing ya: ?

Xiao Jing ya: Compared with being your classmate, I’d still rather be your boyfriend.

After sending that, the other party didn’t reply.

Xiang Huaizhi’s family had a lot of relatives, enough to the point that, before New Year’s had arrived, they had already started visiting each other’s houses. He often couldn’t reply timely to Jing Huan’s messages these past few days.

Jing Huan didn’t mind. After seeing his exam results, he was in a very relaxed mood and fell straight onto his big bed.

After a short period of time, Jing Huan sat up and wanted to change his clothes. When he bent down, he suddenly remembered something and grabbed his cellphone.

At the same time, Xiang Huaizhi was sitting in his chair, patiently listening to his elders’ chatter. Out of politeness, he had endured and hadn’t looked at the cellphone in his pocket.

More than ten minutes later, Xiang Huaizhi finally managed to get out of the living room.

As he walked down the corridor, he took out his cellphone.

His eyebrows gently raised as he saw an unfamiliar profile picture and display name on his stickied friend chat. He then realized that Jing Huan had changed his information.

Jing Huan had changed his profile picture to the Xiao Xiangjing plush. The boy’s hand was on the plush’s belly, and it was bewildering in a cute way.

And his WeChat name had been changed to “Happiness Every Day”.

Happiness Every Day: [Photo]

Happiness Every Day: I wore the matching couple socks today.

The tiredness from dealing with his elders drifted away.

Xiang Huaizhi’s eyebrows smoothed out. He clicked on the profile picture, looked at it several times and then saved it.

Jing Huan came out after finishing his bath without even drying his hair, and went to check on his cellphone.

While taking a bath, he had thought about it… Wasn’t it a little bad to send someone pictures of your feet?

There were several unread notifications on his cellphone. Jing Huan felt slightly uneasy as he opened them.

Wanting Happiness Every Day: En, I’m wearing them too.

Wanting Happiness Every Day: But I’m at my relatives’ house, not easy to take a picture.

Wanting Happiness Every Day: Will turn on the video camera for you to check tonight, boyfriend.

Juurensha: Huanhuan, what is with you and biting XHZ’s chin?

Divi: Huanhuan, what are you, a dog? Nibbling on people’s chin? They are so cheesy, I love it. I hope you guys aren’t lactose intolerant!!
