"oi. Is there something you're not telling me? You're hiding something, for sure."

I looked straight into her eyes and her eyes wavered, afraid to look at me straight. Something is really up.

"I.. ahh.. nothing ahh ehh.  You can go now. Club time is already done. I'm going home too as well. Take.. care. He . Hehehehe."

She stood up and picked up what seemed to be a folder and since she was in a hurry, her hands were shaking and accidentally let go of it. And a paper comes out from the folder, it has a big letters on it saying, "Notice."

I picked it up and read the contents. The content is actually short and articulate. And I didn't like what's written on it.

In summary, the club has been transfered to for closure status. Due to the last 3 years that the club's prestige and member count dwindling. And the current members and moderators will br assigned to their next clubs once the club has been officially closed.

Wait... I'm going to be assigned, doesnt this mean, they will decide for me?"

"Christine.. this said, Will be Assigned. Will they decide where we are getting listed?"

"Yeah..."

Sht. I dont wanna go to sports club. Never!!!

"Well.. on the hindsight, you just need to stay there for a year and next year you can go wherever you want."

"A year?! No way!! Why did I have to say yes.. ughhhh."

"Because I'm cute?" She gave me a fastasy eyes, with clear tears that were to fall anytime now.

"You're not cute anymore. Tsk." That came from my heart. "Have you tried negotiating?"

"I did.. but they said I need atleast 10 members to join."

"10? And now we don't even have any soul here besides us. And club room is already done, everyone's probably already signed in to clubs they want."

"No, we still have. Chance, the students have 2 weeks to finalize their decision on what club they would want to go." Her eyes brightened. That's what hope could give you. But, she probably forgot something.

"And no one came to us in this first week, right?"

The aura around her darkened. Like an Imaginary tree than was full of vitality suddenly lost all of it's vigor and die. "Yes..."

"10 students, huh?"

"Yes.. but, 10 students that really knows how to play, that can perform and compete."

Are you kidding me? That's just impossible! Specially now in this age where kids doesn't pick up instruments anymore. They all have phones that they will play tap beat games etc. Traditional musicians are now on the decline.

This is almost impossible.

"I think we should just.. give up."

"Noooo!!!"

"What do you mean no? Do you have a plan?"

She looked around then on the floor. Her hands fidgeting. "None.. hihi."

Ughh. I've never thought she would be this pain.

"I need some fresh air."

*Knock* *knock*

A knock interjected in our conversation and it was followed by the main door opening.

"Uhmm. Is this the band club?"

Christine who was on the floor, who's eyes already lost it's hope, her eyes suddenly brightened and sprang up from her position. Like a madman, she sprinted towards the door and opened it. There's two students standing and also huffing. A girl and a boy. Both has 7 tags on their uniform which means they are both grade 7 students. The girl has a guitar bag behind her. She's a petite and small girl but she's carrying such thick dreadnought acoustic guitar.

"You're both accepted in the club!!!" Christine said. She posed with a thumbs up to the both of them.

"We don't have to audition anymore?"

"Yup! You're in!!" Even if her back was facing me, I could definitely feel that she's briming in happiness. Both of the students as well are smiling happily. Well, who wouldn't? You got in just by going here. But I never thought they had to audition first.

"Oi! Hold up."

"Whatt?!" Christine expressed her displeasure.

"Don't mind this Car battery here. You both have to audition first. Do you have something for us?"

"Yes! We practiced this since the orientation. after we knew a band club existed here." The boy answered. The girl also nods fast, giving her affirmation.

Now that I'm almost in front of the two, the boy looks like a mixed race. And the girl is a real local.

"Are you two, a couple or something?"

The girl's face reddens as her fingers fidgets. She seems like about to pop out. The boy on the other hand has an innocent look, unperterbed by what I just said.

"Uhh. Something like that?"

Ehhh. I like this guy already. The girl on the other hand finally burst out. Lucky you kid.

"You two seemed to be running otw here, you two should relax first and clam yourselves before start auditioning. And for the mean time, I'll prepare the things that will be needed. Have you two ever tried performing in a studio?"

Christine led the two towards the lounge and right away the girl was starstrucked by the guitara that were lined up in front of her. Her eyes are shining.

"We've never had the chance to, sir."

"But you know how to use amp and things?"

"Yes. Sir!" The girl replied this time.

"Good, rest for now. i'll just fix some things here."

I left the three on the lounge and start to set things up. First is the Mic for the for the Singer. Putting up an NT1-A and a filter for it.

Second is a pair of SM 82, one for the guitar and one for the amp.

Picking up a 60MkIV and putting it somewhere far but not really from where the guitarist will play. I'm actually weighing over getting the Sonnet or this but decided to go for 60MkIV.

The door suddenly opened and christine came inside the room.

"You should've just let them in the club."

"You mght've forgotten but we need 10 able bodies. Not cannon fodders."

"I know.. but.."

"Who knows, mahbe we are in a surprise?"

"I hope so."

She quiets down as she looks around.

"You know things, huh?"

"Out of luck."

"I see. Is there something I can be help with?"

"Hmm, call the guitar girl."

"Alrifht!!"

She left the place and not before long, the girl comes in.

"What's your name?"

"Jasmine Locke."

"Oh, you're a weaterner?"

"My father." From the way she stands and talk, I can feel that she's a very shy person and she's having the nerves.

"Ohhh... Come on. Help me here. Plug your guitar so we can start."
