Chapter 1: Prologue: Wheels of Reincarnation

Opening my eyes, what greets me is darkness. A darkness so deep it threatens to swallow my entire being. Looking around, I couldn't see anything else; no light, no life, nothing.

How did I get here? Where am I? What happened to me? These were the questions I was asking in my head. No matter how I look at it, this situation was anything but normal. Recalling back to my memories, I only remember sleeping after coming back from school.

'Could something have happened?' It was the most likely scenario, otherwise, how could I have ended up here?

As I was lost in thought, a light shines behind me. Turning around, I had to close my eyes, for the light was too bright. After a few seconds, the light dims down enough for me to make out the figure. It had a humanoid physique but nothing else, just white. No eyes, no mouth, no hair, just white.

"Greetings child. I go by many names and titles, but you may call me as god." The being said in a voice that was neither masculine nor feminine.

"God? Then could you explain what's going on? Where is this place, who are you, and why am I here?"

"Very well. This place is a separate space isolated from the rest of the multiverse. I use this place to bring in souls who have special circumstances. As for who I am, I am the creator and the one who manages this multiverse. And you are here because you have won a competition and now receive the rewards."

I was confused. Although this being answered my questions, I still couldn't make sense of it. What competition? A multiverse? The creator?

"What do you mean I won a competition? I don't recall participating in any competitions." I asked.

"Of course, you don't know, it was done without your knowledge. You see, there are other multiverses out there and other beings on the same plane of existence as me. Recently, we held a game where each of us would grant a being from our respective multiverse a chance to spin the wheels of the reincarnation anime version. The method of choosing the being was not specified, so I simply put names into a box and pulled one, which turned out to be you. It would have been better if you were dead but since you weren't, I just brought you here once you fell asleep." The god explained.

"Okay, I think I understand now, but what do you mean the 'wheels of reincarnation'?" I asked with confusion evident in my voice.

"The wheels of reincarnation are an invention of my friend. He came up with the idea to have a select few mortals spin the wheels to determine the circumstances of their reincarnation. The wheels include the wheel of worlds, the wheel of races, the wheel of powers, and the wheel of weapons. The anime version is the exact same except the worlds are anime worlds, the races are anime characters, and the weapons are anime weapons. As for the wheel of powers, since you gain the powers of the character you get, the wheel was changed to the chance to write your background, of course, it can't be anything absurd." The god explained.

"So then I spin these wheels and whatever it lands on determines my new life?" I asked.

"That's right."

'That's amazing! But this is also very risky, if I get a world filled with strong people but I get a weak character or weapon, then I'm probably dead. Oh well, it's not like I have a choice, might as well give it a try.'

Making up my mind, a giant wheel suddenly appears. It was so big it looked like a mountain, and written on it were the names of anime worlds. My Hero Academia, High School DxD, Tensura, Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen, and so on. Taking a moment to calm myself, I walked towards the wheel and spun it. I thought it would be heavy considering its size, but surprisingly it was very light. The wheel kept spinning until it began slowing down and finally landed on Seven Deadly Sins.

"Oh, that's a first. No one ever got that world before, now I'm a bit curious." The god said with slight curiosity.

'This is alright. Seven Deadly Sins isn't bad, although the characters are strong they aren't at a point I can't reach. So long as I get a relatively strong character or weapon, I can live. I just have to hope and pray to god.'

The wheel disappeared and another giant wheel took its place. This time the wheel had the names of anime characters like Gojo Satoru, Naruto, Kirito, and Tanjiro Kamado. It even had characters like Akuto Sai, Rimuru, Anos Voldigoad, Saitama, and Featherine.

'Oh my god. If I get one of those op characters, then I would be like a god.'

Walking up to the wheel, I spun it. The wheel started slowing down, the names of different characters becoming readable, as my heart pounded. Finally, it stopped and I read the name, Guy Crimson. This was good, I read the Tensura books and I know just how strong Guy is. With his powers, surviving should be a breeze.

"Now that I was not expecting. You are very lucky to get a strong character like Guy Crimson. But this is troublesome, someone of Guy Crimson's power would break the power level of the Seven Deadly Sins world. Although it is unfortunate, I will have to nerf your powers." The god said.

"What! You're going to nerf me?"

"Yes, with Guy Crimson's powers, you could defeat anyone in that world. The only one who would be able to fight you is Chaos, but even then, you would most likely win. However, since this is my first time reincarnating someone, I will make an exception for you."

"Really? Thank you so much!"

"Wait. I was not done talking. Although I will allow you to have all of Guy Crimson's powers, you won't have them from the start. Instead, I will seal most of it and you would have to break those seals, similar to Meliodas." The god explained.

"That's fine. I just need to break the seals right? That's better than losing out on some power." I said.

Then like the previous one, the wheel disappeared and was replaced by another wheel. On it were the weapons I had seen in multiple anime series. Ryujin Jakka, Venezdonoa, True Longinus, Exacalibur, Ea, Death Note, Murasame, and more. Crossing my fingers, I spun the wheel. It kept spinning for a few minutes and finally stopped at True Zangetsu.

"This is quite complicated. The True Zangetsu was based on Ichigo Kurosaki and he is fundamentally different from Guy Crimson, in short, you can't use this weapon. Don't worry, I will modify it a bit to suit you." The god said.

"Thanks, I appreciate that."

"Now then, you will write a background for yourself. Since you got Guy Crimson, you will therefore be a demon, so I suggest you write that for your race, everything else is up to you. Once you are finished, I will review it to ensure it is acceptable, then you will be on your way."

After god said that, he handed me a paper and I began to think. 'As god said, I will definitely be a demon, so being part of the demon clan is only natural. But, the demon clan is sealed for 3000 years, there's no way I'm going through that. Maybe I can betray the demon clan like Meliodas? That would mean that the other demons would target me, but do I need to fear them? Although I won't have Guy's full power at the start, the demons will only come back after 3000 years, and by then I should have broken all the seals.'

After thinking for a while, I finally made up my mind. Thinking of my background, words formed on the paper by themselves. Once I was done, God took it and read it.

"So you are the first demon, born before Chandler and Cusack, and hold immense power. Although the demon king had created you, you hold no loyalty towards him, but the demon king chose to turn a blind eye because he thought you would be useful in his war against the goddess clan. When Meliodas and Zeldris were born, you occasionally trained them alongside Chandler and Cusack. You did not care about the war against the goddess clan and simply watched from the sidelines. When the demon clan was sealed, you were able to resist the seal due to your immense power. In the end, no one found out you were not sealed and you roamed around Britannia. It's not bad, could have been better, but who am I to judge. This is acceptable, but to let you know, I will place the seals on you once the demons are sealed."

"That's alright, but could you make it so that I would take over the body at the time the demons are sealed?"

"You do not want to experience such a long time, hmm? Very well, I will create a copy of your consciousness and place it into your body. Once the demons are sealed, the copy will dissipate and you will take over. How about that?"

"That's perfect. By the way, in Tensura, there are 7 primordial demons including Guy. Is it possible that you could make them here as well?" I asked.

"So you want the other primordials? Why?"

"Well, I don't want to spend 3000 years alone and they would be useful as subordinates."

"So your real reason is you want to form a harem with them. Why am I not surprised? You mortals are so predictable. But I want to know, do you plan to take any of the female characters of the show?" God asked.

"No. I actually kind of liked the love stories so I don't want to break that."

"Is that so? Fine, I will create the other primordials, but do you want noir to be female or male?"

"Female, please. Also, could you maybe add Luminous Valentine as well?" I asked, crossing my fingers. I knew I was being pushy, but this was my new life and I wasn't going to waste it.

"You are pushing the line, mortal. Even after the lucky draws you had on the wheels of reincarnations and the compromises I made, you still ask for more. However, since I am feeling lenient, I will allow it. I shall create the other primordials and Luminous Valentine and write their backgrounds as well. Do not fret, I read your mind, so I know the background you want to write for them. Now if that is all, I will now begin the reincarnation process."

"Thank you very much!" I said, bowing 90 degrees.

"If you are truly grateful, then as compensation, try to make the show interesting for me."

"Alright then. I will do my best."

After I said that, a magic circle formed beneath my feet, illuminating the surroundings. I could feel myself changing, becoming stronger, it was as if my entire being was reforming. Then, everything went black.
