Chapter 2: Chapter 1: Among the dead

From a deep slumber i woke up.

I opened my eyes but a dazzling light blinded my sight following a nostalgic feeling

pain

I put my hands to that part of my body and rub it but it was rough and painful the more i rub it.

"what is this?"

I muttered to myself as i look down the lower part of my body just to see a disgusting sight of a fresh wound bleeding. My flesh were tore and my clothes were ragged

But that's not all! when i tried to get up something was sticking out from my belly. it's like a red long like sausage guaged out from my stomach.

The unpleasant sight makes me want to puke but i resist the urge and analyze the situation first. Besides me were several dead bodies laying on the ground. some of them has scissors strucked on their heads, some were missing limbs with their tattered clothes.

There are several syringe and other medical stuffs scattered around in this area suggesting that i was in the hospital

"What the hell happened here?" I don't understand what is happening but first i have to get the hell out of here.

I tried to get up but a sudden pain shook my whole body causing my knees to cramp and fell to the ground just like that i found out my whole body was full of bite marks.

I was about cry out loud but then growls rose up from my behind. my heart racing in panic as i turned my head around just to see dead bodies earlier now were raising up in their feet.

I want to run away but my body can't move. the scenery before my eyes was terrifying. i wish it's just a nightmare but the pain giving me the answer suggesting what's happening now was indeed reality.

The limply walking corpses slowly making a way towards my direction. i was shaking didn't know what to do as the dead approach me i closed my eyes accepting my fate but..

To my surprise the dead suddenly stopped in front of me staring at me curiously

"huh?"

*Growls*

I thought i'll be eaten alive but they're all just standing around while staring at me with their whitened eyes and ragged clothes.

Eventually they ignored me and began to move again passing my way

I sighed in relief as i get up in my feet

hanging below were my intestines still sticking out of my belly, i wonder why i'm still alive miraculously.

After contemplating i muster all the strength i had and move on.

Since there's no one here except for those dead doctors wandering outside this room i look for a medical kit.

luckily i was able to find surgical suture and needles. though i don't know how to suture but i have no choice but to do it myself

Sitting on the Over-bed table i found myself crying and shaking while my teeth was clenched in my t shirt grinding it.

"Damn it!"

I cursed as i push the needle inside my flesh and take it out from my skin. I want to put an end to this hellish pain as soon as possible.

Gritting my teeth i continue stitching my wounds to close it. I endure the pain while my eyes were teary and goos coming out from my nose.

'Endure it! Endure it! Endure it!'

Tears flowing from my eyes. Well as a man i feel ashamed but I can't help it! i'm unable to find any anesthesia!

"Just a little more.."

I wiped out my tears as my wounds closed. I also threw away some parts of my intestines. Dunno why but the important is i'm still alive.

I have to get out of here as soon as possible but first of course i need to contact my mom.

There's no elevator working so i used the ladders well sucks because it's really hassle being operated without a doctor. But to worsen the situation.

there's alot of corpses and multilated brains scattered and some were stuck at the ladders along a huge table blocking the way.

I push myself through the tight space between ladder bars as i exited the obstacles. Blood dripping from my belly because i forced myself.

I make my way through the office. There's a lady laying on her desk lifelessly while her laptop still on. Besides her was a telephone ringing.
