Chapter 3: Outbreak

When the vaccine has failed alot of people died one by one, every day, and everywhere. world fall into chaos, buildings were scorched by fire, vehicles were abandoned everywhere, and gunfire resounding non-stop while people were fleeing looking for safe place and refuge.

Somewhere in Manila City

Air crafts could be seen back and fourth through the sky above and leaving white mist as they launches missiles and bombs causing deafening sounds that will cause one's ears bleed.

Near a building could be seen a chopper losing control after being tugged by swarm of infected caused to stricken to another helicopter nearby

Cars bumping to another vehicle out of panic. dead people chasing after the unarmed civilians and the military shooting the infected making path for the running citizens but only being infiltrated as one of them happen to be infected.

Bullets resounded the whole city while people in a military attire were shouting encouraging fellow soldier.

"Shoot! shoot! bastards shoot them in the head!" the commander of platoon shouted

"but sir! they're just civilians!" one of the soldier said to reason but the commanding soldier just hit him and scolds him.

"Are you stupid?! they became flesh eating monsters now go back to your pose!!"

Just then a lone soldier limply approach the commander while catching his breath.

"Sir! the 6th platoon has fallen! " after the soldier said that the couterance of the soldiers went pale while the commander couldn't help but groan.

"Call the medical units! ready the barricades" shouted the commander then approach the survivor soldier and asked.

"How many? Tell me the details"

The couterance of the soldier looks frightened and his whole body was still shaking that he couldn't properly answer.

"H-horde o-of infected led by a h-huge one" 

From a distance they can see the silhouette of the overwhelming numbers of infected. they successfully breach the 6th platoon and coming for their direction.

Suddenly the walkie talkie in the waist of the commander resounded.

"Commander are you still alive? do you copy? over" It was the general's voice that the commander quickly recognized.

"Roger, we're still alive, all platoon has fallen except us 7th platoon, over"

The general groan's can be heard through radio clearly in dissatisfaction.

"Crap! Have your platoon retreat commander Wilson, take the survivors in your base, over"

"Copy, over"

With that conclusion no more reply from the general, the commander put down his radio and raised his riffle.

"Soldiers protect the civilians while retreating! shoot anyone that has bite mark even your own comrade!"

"Fall back! Man! Protect the civilians at all cost!"

"YES SIR!" Shouted the soldiers in unision.
