"Choose your fate."
Cryptic words spoken by a being unseen sent countless broken souls into a world on the verge of splitting apart.
Broken landscapes and shattered roads, plants overtaking the remains of civilization, countless corpses that were scattered around like discarded toys left to rot.
Glazed eyes opened slowly and a petite figure sat up, brushing off debrie that clung to washed out clothes, they clutched their head in pain.
Where am I?
They sat up, pain shooting through them.
Who am I?
They looked around, broken and collapsed buildings scattered all around as if a tornado had swept through followed by an earth shattering earthquake.
They stood among the rubble, their feet bare except for bandages wrapped around them, sticking to the skin after being drenched in the rain, the raindrops that fell seemingly lazily stinging as they made contact with skin, the soaked clothes clinging and sending pain through them.
A broken storefront glimmered as lightning struck in the distance, heavy grey clouds suffocating a brleak horizon.
They looked into the reflection that was lightly distorted by the rain.

A pale skeleton looked back, deep wounds and sores littered the underdeveloped female body that was nearly covered from head to toe in bandages that were now soaked and shifting uncomfortably and painfully, every move of cloth along the cracked and yellow skin feeling like rough sandpaper grinding down with every move.
Tired eyes stared back at her, black hair clinging to her face, cracked lips parted In wonder.
Comprehension slowly flickered in her eyes like a moist campfire.
Rain= Bad.
It finally registered in her head and she slowly looked around her body, tired and worn.
Her gaze wandered over the collapsed and broken buildings, overturned roads and collapsed skyscrapers.
A sign caught her eye , it was attached to a chain fence and plants were growing over it, it was a black propeller on a yellow background.
The symbol gave her pause, a sense of familiarity overtaking her, she tilted her head and slowly staggered towards the fence, a large hole made by a collapsed tree, a fast forest behind the fence giving her a sense of nostalgia, she carefully clambered over the branches and entered the fenced area.
She didn't know who she was, or what her name was, but she knew that that was was home.
