Chapter 3: 0003 Lockheart Family

Soon after I got a pretty good idea about my system and the situation I was in; I opened the door of my room to explore the place I was living in.

But before I could step out my eyes fell on 4 guards standing there with concerned and shocked expressions on their faces. I knew there's gonna be a lot of drama ahead still it was unavoidable since the supposed prince Robert, which is me, woken up after 2 years of coma. And voila that's what happened.

"Y-Y-YOUR HIGHNESS!!??" said one of them in shock

"A-Are you alright?" asked another

"Call the Queen, RIGHT NOW!"

Now I was standing for the queen, Robert's mother well now she was MY mother. So, I was waiting for my mother while watching the beautiful scene from the window with small smile on my face. The air was sweet and clean without any pollution like earth which was very pleasant and soothing for me, with green lush garden outside some servants here and there working and shiny blue sky with some clouds making different shapes.

I was appreciating the scenery in front of me when I heard a voice.

"Robert??" it was a sweet voice, most probably my mother.

"Where is he?" asked the female voice indicating urgency and happiness in her tone.

"He is inside your majesty." Answered the leader of guards.

*Clack*

She was a stunning beauty with long blond hair, an hourglass figure, tiny nose, red eyes and lovely pink lips. I knew she was Robert's mother, otherwise I would have used my skill Heavenly Touch on her.

"Son, are you alright? How did you wake up? How is your health?" She fired many questions at me in a single breath

"Mother, I'm OK. You don't have to worry so much." I spoke

"How could I not worry about you? You were in come for the last 2 years, and suddenly you woke up." She asked with teary eyes and hugged me

My face was now in my mother's breasts but currently my mind was occupied on how to disguise my loss of memory to the mother without driving much suspicion.

So first I asked, "Mother, what happened to me?"

Her expression turned a little sad, "You don't remember?"

"No, Mother my memories are still a little a fuzzy and my hurts very much when I try to remember something. Sorry, mother could you please tell me what happened?" I replied so that she doesn't suspect anything.

"I am glad that at least you remember my child. It was all that damn dragon's fault."

"Dragon's fault mother?" I asked with a curious tone

"Yes, my son, it was that bloody Ryu's fault. You tried to make a contract with her and to do that you have to pass the challenge given to you by her. But you failed, and that resulted in you being in coma." She replied without releasing me from her embrace.

Immediately after i heard about contract and the dragon named Ryu, I tried to get some information from Lily.

My mother released me, and I wiped her tears.

"Mother, please don't cry my heart aches more when I see you in pain. And see I'm good now so never cry from now." I said with a firm look in my eyes.

And these were not superficial words I really felt pain when I saw my mother crying because of an unknown connection I felt with her. And because everything I did in previous life was also to give my parents a good and fulfilling life. So that's what I'm gonna in this life also.

My mother smiled and said "Yes, my dear why would I cry now that my strong child is with me? Don't' worry about me."

My mother sat down on the bed, I also followed her and sat beside her.

She patted her lap, telling me to lie down and place my head there. And I did.

"Mother, may I ask you somethings?" I asked

"Sure dear, and don't be so formal with this cute mother of yours. Ask what you wanna know?" She said with smile and caressing my face and hair lovingly.

"I wanna know about our family first." I requested

"You don't remember anything?" she asked a little concerned

"I can feel instinctively you're my mother, but I don't remember much other than that." I replied with a sorry expression and cute puppy eyes

"No need to worry dear, I will tell you quickly. First my name is Mina Lockheart, your mother and the queen of our kingdom. And there's your younger sister Lucy, currently in the Royal Academy of Magic in the Westeros Empire and an older sister Angela, currently on a mission."

"What about father?"

Suddenly I felt her sadness increasing tenfold and I quickly regretted my question.

"Your father died in the Great War 15 years ago, my dear." Still, she answered with a heavy heart.

"Thanks mother."

"What did I say you, huh? No formalities between us, you got that?"

"Yes mother" and I hugged her tightly.

"Now now, I have to go make preparation for a little celebration for your recovery and your sister's return tonight." She said in a happy mood

"hmm" I nodded a little and ended my heartfelt hug

"And also, I will send your favourite maid to accompany you. OK?" She said somewhat teasingly while closing the door

I was confused and before I could her about that maid she was gone.

'Well, we'll see what happens next?' I thought.
