The Narrator: “Johann Winchester was without a doubt, the greatest, most honourable and hard working Sorcery Knight in the realms, all seven of them in fact.

His immense natural talent and charisma was a foregone conclusion, based on his diamond spoon level lineage as the son of both the Hero and the Saintess.

Before his peers could walk, Johann skilfully manipulated mana to fly the skies with ease.

Whilst other children struggled to make a dent on the practice dummy, Johann materialised Sword Force to slice clean through it.

Overtaking his parents before reaching the age of twenty, Johann was declared the new Hero of the world and all was peaceful, who? After all, would dare to take on the mighty Johann?

Dragons and Demon Lords alike would all but cower in the corner of their locked tight bedrooms, drawing circles from their unending tears whilst tasty mushrooms grew from the backs of their depressed heads… who would they pillage and conquer now?”

Goddess of Azerta: “Well, that’s no good, how are we supposed to have any fun if the bad guys behave themselves?? Where will we send those bratty kids dreaming of a glorious overpowered Isekai adventure!? Ooooh I know! I’ll send him to ‘that’ world and convince him it’s a reward from his benevolent Goddess!”

The Narrator: “And so Johann was brought before the Goddess and offered the mandatory reward of transmigration, truly, her generosity knew no bounds as she gave Johann a list of choices for his transmigration.

Upon perusing the long, long… l.o.n.g list of choices, Johann chose… he chose?”

‘Uhm, excuse me, why did he pick the Dungeon race? Why did he pick the sin of Sloth as his cheat?? I finally get a Hero to narrate and you’re telling me his only desire is to laze about in the underground?? Going so far as to pick one of the few races that literally cannot move!? No! “And so it was, Johann had made his choice, as a bewildered Goddess nodded her head dumbly, clearly she was so impressed by Johann’s immaculate choice that all but fitted his prestige as the indomitable Hero.

Without further adieu, a bewildered and yet inwardly celebrating Goddess sent away Johann whilst proclaiming to the world that the mighty Hero had saved the world once again, this time at great cost to his own life, she felt an entirely renewed sense of excitement as she gazed lovingly upon the various inhabitants of Azerta.

The chaotic and evil creatures of Azerta were especially pleased by the news and rightfully celebrated by lighting village wide bonfires as they joyously ate their fill of the all but happy to oblige villagers, even the now undead villagers would rise up to join the fun. Ah yes, all was set right again within Azerta.”

‘Oh look, there comes a fresh faced young Hero Party, practically bursting with that all too necessary heroism, ready to receive their overpowered abilities and no doubt save the world for the benevolent Goddess, could I maybe? No? All right then…Johann is clearly superior to these dime a dozen anime devouring children anyways’

“Meanwhile, in the Underground of the lonely and almost entirely magically desolate planet of Earth, Johann awakens to his first day as The Dungeon Of Sloth, no doubt to prove this keen eyed and genius narrator correct and embark on his exciting journey.”

Johann: “Finally… I can finally take a long restful retirement”

The Narrator: “Oh dear…”
