Su Xiuling used to dance. She might have lost some curves after birthing three children, but she still had plenty of her charms.
Yun Xiangxiang scanned around and picked everything that suited Su Xiuling. She asked her mother to try them on. The waitstaff served them with passion.
“Ah Mian, take my dad and little Lin for a stroll in the men’s department,” Yun Xiangxiang gave Song Mian a chance to show his good side while she waited for Su Xiuling to change.
Yun Zhibin didn’t want to embarrass his daughter. He brought Yun Lin and Song Mian upstairs.
“Aiyaya, you can’t pull on this.” When Yun Xiangxiang thought of Yun Ting, she saw him run toward the sequins and stood on his tiptoes, trying to tear them down.
“If you love them, I can give a bag of them to you,” the accompanying waitress knew and adored Yun Xiangxiang. She went to the counter, taking a bag of trinkets from the drawer. The trinket was sealed in a transparent ziploc bag.
Yun Ting obviously wanted it. He blinked his clear, big eyes at Yun Xiangxiang, waiting for her permission.
“What should you say?” Yun Xiangxiang coaxed him.
“Thank you, sis. Sis is pretty,” the little one didn’t forget to praise the waitress after taking the trinket.
The waitress was pleased by this. She went and took some snacks for him. He was reeled in just like that.
When Su Xiuling was done changing, Yun Xiangxiang asked the waitress to take everything she deemed pretty before asking her mother to try more clothes.
Another guest came in at this time. Yun Xiangxiang had her eyes on Yun Ting, who was following the waitress. The guest, however, walked straight to her.
Sensing her approach, Yun Xiangxiang raised her head. The guest was an unfamiliar woman who dressed grandly. She was looking closely at Yun Xiangxiang behind her sunglasses.
Yun Xiangxiang inexplicably touched her own face, “Is there something on my face, madam?”
“No, no, not at all. It’s just that you’re so gorgeous. I can’t help but to look for a while longer,” the madam took off her sunglasses to reveal a pair of passionate eyes.
“You’re too kind,” Yun Xiangxiang smiled sheepishly.
The lady wasn’t in any simple getup. Her handbag’s price alone was seven figures. Yun Xiangxiang didn’t want to be targeted by someone like her.
“Look out, Little Ting,” noticing Yun Ting getting wobbly, she immediately went over to help her steady himself.
“I am sorry, it’s my fault…,” the waitress was apologetic.
“It’s fine. It’s not your fault. I was just too worried about him.” Yun Xiangxiang felt guilty. She wanted to find an excuse to escape that rich madam’s sights.
The rich lady didn’t come close as she seemed to notice her intention. Su Xiuling was trying out the last dress now.”
“How is it? Does it look good?” Su Xiuling loved this the most. She couldn’t wait for her daughter’s approval.
“Look good, look good,” Yun Ting clapped first.
“Mom, you look great whatever you wear,” Yun Xiangxiang praised. “Wear this tonight.”
“This dress pairs with you well. The color’s the only problem here. I remember this dress has a light purple variant,” the rich lady suddenly said.
“Mrs. Han, you are absolutely brilliant. This dress isn’t officially up in China yet. It has just arrived. We were just hanging it here, and Mrs. Han already knew all about it before we could even change our models.” The shopkeeper praised Mrs. Han. I’ll go get the light purple one now.”
“I also thought this color looked too young,” Su Xiuling loved this dress. Her only gripe was that its sky blue hue didn’t match her age well.
“I hope you didn’t mind me talking out of line,” Mrs. Han smiled
“If not for you, I probably wouldn’t get my hands on the dress I love,” Su Xiuling shook her head graciously. “I’m Xiuling. Su Xiuling.”

“Huiying. Jiang Huiying,” the two women introduced their names happily. “I should be senior to you by a few years. If I may, can I call you Xiuling?”
“As long as Sister Jiang doesn’t mind it,” Su Xiuling had seen a lot in her life. If it weren’t for Jiang Huiying, a woman who could come to a place like this greeting her first, causing her to reply, she wouldn’t want to speak to someone who was a few levels higher than her in life.
One didn’t want to embarrass the other. One wanted to make friends. They ended up happily chatting together.
As someone born a generation later, Yun Xiangxiang found it inappropriate to interrupt. Otherwise, she would have told her mother, “This madam has ideas about your daughter.”
True enough, the conversation turned to Yun Xiangxiang soon, “You daughter is gorgeous. How old is she?”
“She just turned eighteen. Still studying,” Su Xiuling answered with a smile.
“So she’s eighteen. Is she in high school or university?” Jiang Huiying continued.
“She’s in university.”
“In Beijing? Which one is she in?”
“Yes, it’s in Beijing. Qingdao University,” Su Xiuling thought the lady was passionate because she recognized her daughter.
It didn’t seem like that was the case now. If the lady didn’t know Yun Xiangxiang was a public figure, it meant she was not someone who paid attention to these things.
“What an excellent girl,” Jiang Huiying’s eyes shone brighter when she heard Yun Xiangxiang was studying in Qingdao University.
Su Xiuling was no simpleton. She could see what the lady was gunning for. She felt proud, yet resigned.
Her daughter was so excellent, the rich lady wanted to bring her back right after meeting her.
“Mom, dad’s calling to ask where we are,” Yun Xiangxiang was finally saved.
“I’m sorry, Sister Jiang. My husband’s upstairs. We have been here for too long. We’ll have to go now,” Su Xiuling finally found an excuse to leave.
Jiang Huiying didn’t stop them. She exchanged phone numbers with Su Xiuling, telling her this was fate, before waving them goodbye.
After they left, the shopkeeper told Jiang Huiying, “Mrs. Han, Yun Xiangxiang is an actress.”
“Which drama did she star in?” Jiang Huiying asked quickly.
“She didn’t appear in dramas. Only two films. But there’s a lot of news about her,” the shopkeeper answered carefully. “Yun Xiangxiang looks different from the other actors. You’ll know it after you have seen it.”
“Fine. I know already. Send my dress to them like we planned,” Jiang Huiying stopped her before turning around to leave.
At this moment, Yun Xiangxiang had met up with Song Mian and the others. Su Xiuling was mixing and matching for Yun Zhibin, while Yun Lin took care of the fidgety Yun Ting.
Song Mian seized the chance to whisper with Yun Xiangxiang, “Zhaolin added you?”
“Yeah, and you said you didn’t expose me to them. His scouting skills are off the charts,” Yun Xiangxiang started suspecting things when Han Zhaolin suddenly added her when Qi Jun didn’t even know who she was back then.
“My sudden request for him to look into He Xingzhou’s case is enough for him to seek you out,” Song Mian was not surprised.
“The number you gave me back then was his?” Yun Xiangxiang guessed that was a probability last time.
“En. We are the best of friends. You can call him if you need something. He owes me his life. Numerous times,” Song Mian asked Yun Xiangxiang to not hold back.
“You’re not afraid about your friends accusing you of hiberdating?,” Yun Xiangxiang rolled her eyes.
“Brothers are my limbs. Women are my clothes. Humans can go without some limbs, but we have to have our clothes on, right?”
