The man was very tall dressed white shirt with brown stripes and dark pants. Galen had no idea  whether the man is male or female in feature due to how beautiful they were to look at.

"Galen, you would have been late if you come a day sooner..." He smirked.

He opened his pocket watch only to place it back in his pocket walking away slowly with an amused grin. Galen ran without thinking across the the stone  bridge, but before he could reach the other end of the bridge he collided with a large object nearly knocking him away.

"Galen, sir!" Apsen shouted.

The large boulders continued  to roll along  the bridge causing the stone bridge to tremble slightly. Everyone except Galen fell onto their knees as they looked up and noticed how close they've gotten.

Galen thought it was over safetly signaling Karma and Aspen from the distance. Karma jumped forward and sliced one of the rocks with her sword while Aspen took care of the rest of them.

[Welcome to Marren's Eve]

After finally getting across they looked up at the fine stones placed high on the aging tower. The topmost portion of the tower has broken off and the roof is missing which created a gap in the middle that leads to a dark staircase  leading underground.

It seemed as though the whole structure is collapsing which explains the strange sound echoing through the air. They looked around themselves as they passed into the drawbridge before making their way into the tower.

Their steps echoed through the empty chamber  until they reached the stairs. The entire floor was covered in dust and debris  causing their footsteps to echo loudly. As they entered a large room which seemed to be the heart of the tower.

[Welcome to Empyrean Stream Tower]

Their steps echoed through the empty chamber  until they reached the stairs. The entire floor was covered in dust and debris  causing their footsteps to echo loudly. As they entered a large room which seemed to be the heart of the tower.

The room was one big square  room. There's two arches in the walls that connected them to another circular room with a spiral stairway leading down. A shadow figure darted out the side of their vision causing them to jump back.

The figure glided down the steps making Galen be the first on to dash  down after  them. The figure moved at inhuman speed  as they disappeared below the edge of the floor.

[Empyrean Stream Tower] [The first level.]

As they got closer to the edge of the floor, a dark abyss appeared. This floor seems to be made entirely of darkness giving the feeling there was nothing underneath them.  Everything around them suddenly illuminated making them blink their eyes several times adjusting to the sudden brightness. The floor beneath them was coated with white powder.

computer screens operated on their own coming to life  revealing many rooms in this floor.

"Where are we?" Galen asked.

"This is a weird tower..." Aspen mumbled.

The spiral staircase glowed  a dim blue noticing below them large sigils painted below them lit up as they passed by . Their steps echoed loudly on the cold hard floor.

"So far, we haven't encountered any dangerous enemies. It's odd though... I can still sense something wrong." Karma said looking around.

“Keep your guard up…” Aspen muttered.

“We don’t know what to look for so we gotta be on our best.” Galen noted.

They all walked down the winding staircase until finally reaching the bottom of the tower.  Their feet made light taps as they stood beside each other. At the end of the staircase they caught the very tall man again holding tight to his watch. He gave them a smile before disappearing once more.

“Hey! Wait!” Galen shouted.

Before them lay a massive chamber filled with countless machines. Some of them were broken with wires  protruding  from them like spears while others were completely destroyed with glass shattered and machinery smashed into pieces.

Many doors lead inside the chambers and each door was sealed with magic.

"There might be danger here so stay close together." Karma warned.

Aspen gawked  at the machines which surrounded them. His eyes lit up as she pointed at one in the center of the hall.

"Those machines are interesting... I wonder what's behind them." He said with fascination.

All of the doors slammed open at the same time  causing Galen and Karma to fall on their backs from the sudden noise.  The three stood up and saw that the doors had revealed another hallway and this corridor was much larger than the previous halls. It felt like it went on forever. They cautiously walked past the broken machines  and into the next hallway.

"How do you navigate a place full of doors?" Galen asked.

"Magic." Karma replied matter of fact.

She raised her hands into the air summoning the power  within her  causing small balls of light to appear in the palm of her hands  which she proceeded to throw at the door on the opposite side of the hallway.

The magic vanished before she could get a reading.  Her face scrunched up in frustration  as her shoulders sagged. She shook her head  disappointedly and turned around and began to walk  down the left side of the hallway.

“This place isn’t gonna allow me!” karma shouted.

“There must be something really important here then…” Aspen thought.

As they stared at the many door side by side  they could only hear their breathing  in between the silence of the room.  as Karma kept throwing magic balls at the wall next to the door on the right.  He could feel Karma growing agitated and tired.

"I don't understand..." she grumbled.

Aspen looked down at his phone  for a moment before turning to the rest of the team. Apsen was thinking silently as Galen hopped ahead testing the doors one after another he stopped in front of a closed wooden door. Karma approached from behind him and leaned against the door listening for anything in the room.

"What are you doing?" she asked, her voice sounded distant.

“Obviously checking the doors!” Galen yelled.
