"Where is Christian?" Galen asked.

"Maybe he is just exploring?" Hollyn smiled.

They sat at the table waiting on food to come as Galen fidgeted with his phone hoping he would get a response sooner rather than later.

"He's been gone for awhile now." Galen frowned.

The food came quickly and they ate quickly in silence as they waited. He had a bad feeling in the back of his mind and he wanted to talk to someone about it.

"I have to get going." He announced standing up suddenly.

"Where will you go in a town you have never been before, Galen?" She asked.

He felt nervous listening to her words and his grip on his phone tightened, "Don't worry, I'll be fine…" he smiled forcing a grin.

He was about to reach the door when the sound of footsteps interrupted him and he turned round to see a woman who had never seen before.

"Hello Miss...Marcella?" The waiter shouted happily.

"Good afternoon, oh it's such a surprise to see you here again Hollyn." She said.

Galen felt an incredible sense of danger coming from Hollyn and Marcella. There was something weird about Hollyn's aura. Her smile seemed fake and her voice sounded cold.

He ran out of the door quickly to gawk around him wondering if Christian was purposely spirited away maybe this had to do with the seven days closing in him, but he couldn't check the signal was gone so he couldn't confirm his theory.

"Hey! If Christian can communicate through his system then why can't I?!" Galen argued.

[P-ea-e h-rry]

The voice in his head echoed causing a headache before standing back up straight with a frown and a look of concern on his face, in the back of his mind he automatically knew where the south tower was located.

He equipped his mages gear heading out alone without anyone walking to the otherside of town as people watched him pass by not even bothering to look in their direction.

"Please allow me to leave!" Galen shouted.

He stood firmly at the iron gates as the two gaurds came forward to inspect his attire and weapon. One of them pulled open a panel underneath the door.

"We are currently not allowing anyone to go this way until further notice." He said.

Galen noticed how bright the fullness of the moon was above them and looked up at the night sky, there was hardly any stars twinkling in the darkness as he gazed upwards. His eyes scanned the whole sky until it landed upon a small dot that was slowly getting closer and closer to the edge of the sky. It wasn't visible from afar but its presence was obvious as it neared the tower.

His head hurt as the voice continued to repeat itself in his head, the pain in his head growing stronger by the second.

"What if I could take on those things out there?" Galen asked.

"No one is allowed to leave! Do you want to be tossed in a dungeon?!" A gaurd yelled.

He could hear their moaning outside and the sounds of footsteps approaching but he still couldn't see them behind the heavy bars, all he could see was the glowing white moon in the sky. His head was throbbing knowing he needed to go past this gate.

"Galen, you are causing trouble during a rush?!" Hollyn scolded.

"Oh, Ms. Hollyn no worries if this is your kid!" The man smiled.

Galen glared at Hollyn as the gaurd laughed while shaking his head. They could hear hands beating against the walls trying to break it open and make it open but the metal refused to budge under the pounding.

"You should be more careful. I don't want to end up throwing your kid in jail."

She took his hand trying to lead him away when Galen yanked his arm free angrily.

"If you are hiding something its best you come forward." Galen said.

Hollyn stared at him before sighing in defeat.

"You really need to let that temper of yours burn itself out sometimes." She sighed.

Gathering his composure once again following behind Hollyn as they made it back to the inn . As he entered he noticed Marcella sitting on the couch with her legs spread apart and her skirt pushed up exposing her thighs. As soon as she saw him she shot up grabbing her skirt and quickly putting it back down.

He walked over to the steps when Marcella stopped him by grabbing the bottom of his cape tugging him back. He struggled to keep from falling but as soon as he stumbled she pushed him down pulling off her own cloak and shoving it onto his.

"I heard your friend is lost." She smiled.

He didn't respond he just gave her a blank stare. Her smile faded as she realized something strange was happening.

"You need help don't you?"

Galen remained silent as he stood up and looked towards the stairway before proceeding back to his room staring at the empty beds with confusion on his face. He walked in to walk over face first into his bed making it fall onto the floor with a loud thud.

"I feel tired.." He whispered to himself.

He fell into slumber where he awoken again in a different location this time looking towards the window. He was surrounded by darkness as he got a feeling of deja vu.

Galen instantly sat up in bed and swung his feet around the bed to stand up as he gripped onto the bedpost for support. He glanced around noticing nothing was wrong. Hollyn was sleeping in the other bed beside him he didn't want to wake her up and risk being caught in the middle.

He went towards the door but paused for a moment and turned around heading back to bed grabbing his pillow and blanket and covering her body completely.

Noticing it was dawn he strolled through town watching everyone moving about like normal getting ready for the day. It felt like he was walking through a renaissance fair. Everything was so beautiful and colorful and lively.

As he walked he saw a group of children playing hide and seek. They were all running around shouting and laughing. They all seemed so happy. He was too until they started to scream and run towards the centre.

He knew the time was nearing to get to the tower but what would happen when he arrived? Would he die there? Or just get stuck forever? What would happen if he didn't complete the quest? He'd never find out if he stayed here all day doing nothing.
