Arriving in front of my father's room's large wooden door on the second floor, I was greeted by a man wearing a suit and a monocle. Jeffrey, the house butler and my father's trusted man.

'He may look like an old man, but he is a monster.' The look he gave in my direction with his between-open eyes made my body tremble. But I had to remain confident.

"The Lord is waiting for you." Jeffrey smiled and opened the door for me to enter. I took a deep breath and then confidently stepped inside the room. The door slammed behind me next, but I didn't care and kept my gaze on the man sitting behind the desk.

A man over two meters tall wearing a very striking outfit. It was the clothing of the Empire's army. The uniform was all blue with white details. On his chest, some medals showed his achievements.

"So you are here again. How often have I told you not to ask to meet for such futile reasons?" I could feel an overwhelming pressure when the lord, Baron Ferdinand Fernotth, said those words.

However, his cold eyes on me continued.

"Get out of here. And don't appear in front of me again until you rub Sirgurd's face against the ground, understand? Don't embarrass me anymore."

"Yes, lord."

I walked out of that room, frustrated. My father despised me. Damn, that strength-maniac son of a bitch. Can't he see that I'm trying? But damn, I can't get any stronger.

"Don't worry. I won't hurt you as Sigurd does."

"Tsk."

"I'm just kidding. See you later, and don't do anything unnecessary again."

"I'll keep that in mind."
