Chapter 30 – Tea

After eating the fish meal, Chi Tang went to the tea shop to look around. There were still many people there. You Yu kept preparing tea behind the counter but didn’t turn around. She wanted to say hello, but not at a good time.

After playing games for several days, Chi Tang doesn’t want to go home and stay alone now.

Seeing the words “cinema” next to the elevator, she thought about it and took the elevator upstairs to watch a movie. She would go to the cinema to watch it only when she saw a movie recommended by the blogger she followed, but she had no goals today, so she could only choose a poster that was pleasing to the eye.

The most recent show would start in ten minutes. After picking up the tickets, go in. There are a few people in this movie hall. Most of them are in pairs. Besides her, she also has a pair of girlfriends and a group of three brothers. The others seem to be lovers.

Chi Tang didn’t care so much. She sat alone at a distance from the others, leaning back in her chair and looking forward.

No matter how many times you go to the movies, the design of the back of the chair is very anti-human, and the pillow position is too high. Are these seats prepared for the two-meter-high giant?

An unpleasant movie made the unhappy mood even worse.

Halfway through, Chi Tang was so embarrassed by the plot that her scalp was numb, especially the episode that was suddenly sung in the middle, which was suffocating, and the cinema was full of an embarrassing atmosphere.

If it were not a good habit to keep Chi Tang silent after reading, she estimated that she would have waved her hands and left an hour ago.

After the movie was over, Chi Tang quickly got up and left with a group of lovers. When she went downstairs, she glanced at the tea shop. At the moment, there are no customers in the tea shop, and there are only two clerks left, one sitting there playing with a mobile phone, the other lying on the counter and writing.

Chi Tang, who was going to go home straight away, walked over, reached out her finger, and tapped in front of the person writing, “Buy tea.”

The wooden countertop made a beeping sound under her fingers, and the person doing the test heard the sound and looked up to see her with a smile.

“Chi Tang!”

Chi Tang leaned on the counter and looked at the test papers she had written most of. “Does the boss care about you during work hours for homework?”

Hearing this joke from her, the big sister who was playing on the phone next door smiled at them and said, “Is it a friend?”

“Okay.” You Yu said, brought the order list, and asked her nicely: “What tea do you want to drink?”

You Yu was wearing a striped uniform shirt and an apron. She braided her hair behind her head. She didn’t know if it was an illusion or not. Chi Tang felt she was a little fatter at the same table.

“Are you here to do it?”

You Yu nodded, “I can do it.”

Chi Tang ordered one and said, “Don’t add too much to me.”

When You Yu turned her back, a braid fluttered behind him, “Okay.”

She made tea skillfully, as she said. Do it carefully and slowly.

Chi Tang, not in a hurry anyway, smelling all kinds of sweet scents, reached out and turned the test paper You Yu was doing just now to her side. This test paper does not seem to be a summer homework assignment.

“You Yu, did you finish your summer homework? Where did this test come from? “

You Yu: “You bought it for me.”

The birthday gift she bought contained several sets of matching test papers. Because there were too many, You Yu could not finish all of them yet.

Feeling guilty, Chi Tang closed the test paper and pushed it back.

As a concern, You Yu also asked: “Have you done your summer homework?”

Chi Tang:”… did a bit.” She never opened it.

You Yu didn’t know why she laughed. “I think you are lying to me. Maybe you haven’t moved a word. “

Chi Tang: “If you know it, you will know it, and you have to say it.”

You Yu pursed her lips and smiled again. She put the prepared tea in a bag and sent it to Chi Tang. After Chi Tang paid the money, she carried the bag, said hello, and left.

The big sister sitting next to You Yu was the owner of this tea shop. Seeing You Yu still looking at the back of her little classmate, she smiled and asked, “Want to play with friends?”

Her sister asked her to let You Yu.

You Yu was there to help but also knew some of the child’s family situation, so I usually take care of more.

You Yu, a girl who was not afraid of hardships and hard work, was eager to work, learned quickly, and was more patient than most children her age. She liked children like this very much, but she was usually dull.

It was the first time that she saw You Yu chatting with people so easily, even smiling with joy instead of politeness.

You Yu was embarrassed and reopened the test paper, “She was my tablemate.”

You Yu’s aunt suddenly realized, “Oh, it’s the takeaway you sent at noon.”

That must be a wonderful friend. She originally planned to deliver the order by herself at noon. After all, at your age, she was not too relieved to let her send it, but when You Yu saw the address, she sent it. She looked thrilled when she came back.

You Yu’s aunt: Youth, so good.

Chi Tang occasionally orders tea from where You Yu worked. You Yu would bring it every time, mostly in the morning or evening, when it was not too hot. Besides tea, Chi Tang would sometimes find a packet of handmade biscuits in the tea bag.

“The boss baked the biscuits herself. I’ll give you a pack. “

“The boss baked an egg today, and she will give you one.”

Besides these small gifts that occasionally appear, there would also be small cards, tea, small cards that say happy every day, study hard, and so on.

Chi Tang: They forced me to study with private goods at the same table!

You Yu wrote it casually. She also wrote that she was healthy and that everything was going well.

Every time You Yu came to deliver tea, Chi Tang would give her some fruits, such as grapes, strawberries, peaches, cantaloupe, or watermelon.

While You Yu returned with a small box of fruits, You Yu’s aunt laughed at her: “Did you have a meal at the same table?”

Chi Tang sometimes goes to the food court under the mall to eat. She was not very good at cooking. Of course, she was mainly lazy. Basically, besides takeout, it was solved by street restaurants. The food court on You Yu has now become her. One of the most popular places to eat. She would drop by after eating to bring a cup of tea home.

Compared with the summer vacations of other classmates, Chi Tang’s summer vacation was much freer. She has no parents to control. No one would ask her to wake up for breakfast in the morning, no one would tell her to watch the computer less, and no one would urge her to sleep earlier at night.

Eat, go upstairs, and downstairs, where she was alone.

She got a stuffy nose in the morning, probably because of a cold. Chi Tang took out the medicine and soaked it in a glass.

You Yu didn’t see Chi Tang show up for two days, nor did she order tea takeaway. Taking advantage of the small number of people at noon, she rode a small electric donkey to Chi Tang’s house and rang the doorbell.

Chi Tang came down to open the door, and You Yu was relieved to see that she was wearing a skirt and a coat outside. She seemed to be fine. Bring out a pack of several small pieces of bread for her; “The red bean buns baked by the boss are delicious. I will bring you some. “

Chi Tang: “On such a sunny day, I especially sent bread. I convinced you. Go back soon. It’s going to rain. “

You Yu looked at her face and asked, “Are you unhappy?”

Chi Tang:”… I am not always upset.”

You Yu: “Is there any reason?”

Chi Tang: “What’s the reason for being unhappy?” She didn’t want to talk too much, urging her to leave quickly, and then closed the door.

You Yu could only leave. She walked out two steps and heard a small sneeze.

Did Chi Tang catch a cold? She seemed to catch a cold and fever whenever the season changed, or suddenly became hot or cold.
