Ella made a contract for using her design just in case, and it seemed that was going to be the best choice she made. While thinking about the money she’ll be receiving from the Countess, she began thinking about the remaining items on the list that Xyles had checked. Most of the remaining items were expensive gemstones.
‘The money will be coming from the merchant company, so I should change the company’s business operation.’
The merchant company that Ella secretly made was strange in that it purchased petty living essentials and Stones of Water. But starting from this point, it had to collect items for the Dragon child.
‘But I don’t have enough money.’
The money stored at the merchant company wasn’t enough, and so was the money the Countess was going to pay. Ella scanned the room. It was filled with expensive items, but even selling all of them wasn’t going to be enough to purchase all those items on the list. She needed to find another way.
Was there a way to prepare a large amount of money without anyone knowing? Ella moaned as she tried to squeeze out an idea, but she couldn’t think of one.
“Is it that difficult to choose? It certainly is difficult to choose which dress is better.”
“What about the red dress?”
“I think the green dress is the best among these.”
Fortunately, Ella’s deep thoughts were thought to be over her dilemma over the dresses. Soon, Maylin and three other maids were divided over which dress Ella should wear at today’s party. Two of the dresses were specially made for this party, so it was hard to make a decision.
The red dress resembled a fully bloomed rose that was fitting to show the elegance and the grace of the Constance family’s only daughter and the future crown princess. Maylin and Mari were mesmerized by the red dress because it made a strong statement on its own.

“This gold embroidery and gown added on top add a mystical beauty. I’ll make you look like a little queen,” said Mari.
“Yes, yes. And look at this tiara the Countess sent! Doesn’t it look like a crown?” commented Maylin.
They strongly recommended the red dress. Smila and Joanne, on the other hand, pushed for the green dress instead. It was fitting to show the fresh beauty of 17-year-old Ella.
“But look at this, milady! This will make you look like a flower!” said Smila.
“If we straighten your special purple-colored hair and use the remaining hair to tie it with a knot, you’ll definitely look like a flower!”
“And look at this light green petticoat!”
The specially made light green petticoat was surely going to shine at the court dance, which is the highlight of the party. Imagining Ella dancing in that dress made Smila blush. Ella pushed her real dilemmas that would take time to find answers away and decided to solve the issue at hand that was easy to solve.
“We’ll go with the green today. The party’s at the Tuchizen’s, so people related to them will cover themselves in red. It’s better to wear green if I am to stand out,” said Ella.
“Really? Yay!” Smila and Joanne put their arms up and cheered. Then, they held hands and jumped up and down in excitement.
“Get the red one ready in three days for Marquis Domino’s party. He complimented me for looking good in a red dress last time, so it’ll look good if I wear red and show him I remember that. He’s friendly to our family for now. Oh, but let’s change the tiara to something else,” ordered Ella.
Maylin and Mari, even though they seemed disappointed by Ella’s choice, immediately began praising her on how she would look the best at today’s party as if they had never recommended the green dress. They seemed like they were going to praise Ella even if she wore rags.
